Can some kind person convert the two files bellow into Cab files i have been trying and looking for hours now and to be honest its blown over my head so please can someone help me thanks in advance

I am working on a WM5 version of the popular VGA hack OzVGA. I have all the registry settings I need but am missing some files from a QVGA installation of WM5. A member of the Himalaya forum provided me with his 96dpi DLLs but they appear to be incomplete and/or buggy.
Would it be possible for someone to rip and e-mail me the following files form your Wizard?

Not having a Wizard I don't know how you would do it. I'm guessing you would need to download the rom from your device and then rip the files using the correct offsets.
Need someone more knowledgeable than me to advise on how to do it.

awhile back i was messing with my jasjar and wanted to copy some files from windows directory ...after trying i found renaming them and then copying them worked for most files
like browsres.96.dll could be renamed to browsre2.96.dll orbrowsres.96.dll2 ...

I have been playing around with phone skins and now have problems when I revert to the orginal WM5 dialer. Can someone please zip the indialer_*.bmp files, e.g. indialer_down_l.bmp located under the windows directory.
Alternatively is someone can post the DialerSkin_Portrait* and DialerSkin_Landscap cab files which are part of the extended rom that would be appreciated.

Those files are not part of my extended ROM, so I'm afraid I can't help you anymore..

been searching forever and cannot find a good copy if just the htc "blocks" background. everything i have found was a full theme or a "knock off" looking version. so please please please can someone post the background image for me? thanks guys.

There is no original blocks background. it's a manila file.
But here's one that looks like it.
If you are looking for the actual manila file for the background grid found in every tab, here it is.
Just extract 6c658481_manila file form the zip and paste it in the windows directory replacing any existing file by the same name.
I'm in a .cab making frenzy tonight. A bit late for me so I hope I picked out the right file. Anyway here is the .cab if anyone wants it. I haven't tested it at all so good luck!

OK I am very wet behind the ears with developing. I have been playing with manila files for a while now and am very interested to learn more. so I downloaded the LEO OEM updates. I unzip them and end up with a lot of files that I am familiar with (*_manila) but I have folders for dll files not the actual dll. The folder has an imageinfo.bin/.txt and 0-4 S00*files. So my question is how to I compile them to be DLL files? I am sure that you can probably just put that in any of the kitchens but I dont want to create a rom I just want to compile the DLL files.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all the very smart people here for the help they have provided so far.

You use a tool like recmod.exe or nuerecmod.exe Both are attached. Simply drag the folder over the icon of the .exe you want to use.

I just purchased vegas pool shark for my hd2 and I received 2 files a setup.exe file and a VegasPoolSetup.msi. The read me file says that I need ActiveSync for the process of installation but I have a Mac and don't have that. I was wondering if somebody here could make a .cab file with those files for me? Honestly that game was purchased by me and I have proof just in case somebody needs to verify it b4 helping me. If this request is not allowed in this forum, Mods, please delete this thread. if you can run the .exe in a virtual pc, even without active sync, it 'should' install the cabs and such into a subfolder of /program files/, ready to be installed on th ephone next time it connects (which of course it wont). you can then browse to that folder, find the arm cab, and copy that to your sd card.
try 7zip and open up the exe and see if the cab is in there just extract it thats what ive done with a few things
