Try connecting with MTTY (have a search for instructions).
And try
"set 16 0"
command with out the quotes then reset or...
"set 14 0"
Dave

Not all HD2's can be flashed to the new ROM as standard.
e.g. O2's HD2 cannot be flashed with the new ROM as standard.

Restore HTC HD2 to Factory Defaults

Hello,
Playing with and testing many programs crowded my registry (there are always bits of data left after programs removal).
I would like to refresh my phone by loading the factory defaults so I would reverse the phone to the status "ground 0" like I've just received it from the retailer.
How do I do that?
Thank you in advance!
Tsk tsk... it's all in the manual!
Have a look at this mate...

Problem with my HTC HD2

Hello guys,
I have a HTC HD2. ( Not the T-Mobile version ) . My sister tried to update the phone to android. i don't know what she did but now the phone don't starts it shows a screen ' Software update failed, Please try again ' and then shows the Red-Green-Blue-White screen with this message.
HX-BC
SPL-3.03.0000 XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(Touch) 0x40
Now what should i do to upgrade the phone to android ?
( P.S - I am a total newbie in android platform. )
Try a search on this site for Android install and follow the instructions, looks like your sister got part of the way there but failed somewhere along the line.

Well you need to download HSPL4 for HTC HD2 and install or better say downgrade it to HSPL 2.08. You can find it here on forum just give yourself some time and search. There was already the same thread and I wrote how to solve it. You need to go to bootloader mode first. Turn off your phone and hold volume down button and hold it while you press power button. Hold both of them until you see three color screen. Then comnect phone to pc and run HSPL4 on your pc and choose HSPL 2.08 in the menu flash it and wait until you see we hacked it on your phone. Then you can flash any custom rom. I recommend flashing using pc. Not using sd card method.
And next time read carefully when installing android on your phone.

You tried HSPL4 to install a HSPL !?
Device ID (top line in bootloader) is corrupted, so the phone will refuse everything, thinking its for a different phone.

Dear Friend ... I think The problem can get solved By installing the HTC Drivers ... I happend to me many times and it solved it easily ... Goodluck
With Best Wishes
Hitman1387
Installing the latest HTC Drivers from the HTC Sync Manager bundle usually solves this issue, but for some Sense-based Android ROMs older versions may be useful. However sometimes Windows could choose alternative drivers for the device (RNDIS or Mass Storage instead of Serial/ADB driver). In that case use Device Manager to update driver. Browse to %SystemRoot%\DriverStore\FileRepository and look for the drivers (try sorting by date).
And just in case I could help, may I ask why you'd put the device into bootloader?
