Where are my sent SMS messages

Anyone experience this before?
After I sent SMS messages I look in the sent items folder and there is nothing there at all?
The messages are received by the user by for the life of me I can't find where my sent copies go on my imate jam?
Any help greatly appreciated.

I presume you have the option to keep a copy of saved messages enabled? in the options menu?

All Sms Lost...help!!

Hey everyone,
I wanted to clear out my sent messages, so I clear SENT and.... It takes all the sent messages to the trash (good) but ALL OTHER messages in every other folder just disappear! What happened??!?
Can anyone help? Thanks!

Inbox and sent items are combined.
If you have a draft, you can see "Drafts" in the menu, when you are in your sms combined inbox. If there are no drafts however, there will be no "Drafts" in the menu.

SMS Limit

I used TiBa to move over my SMS logs from my Captivate but it seems that the text app wont load because ive run out of memory. When i look in settings>memory, it shows over 10 GB free. any ideas how to fix this?

looks like the max SMS history is 999 messages, any way to circumvent?

i'm having the same problem..i want to save all of my sms messages but it limited to 999. is there anyway to fix that? either apps or hack?

I use sms backup... Saves a copy of all sms messages to gmail... Easily grouped in conversation mode...no reason to keep them all on your phone anymore...

Legitimately curious question, but would you ever need/want to go beyond 999 SMS?

I'll bet other sms apps like handcent will work great

i miss the message sent notification. i occasionally discover that some of my messages have not been sent and waiting to see if it has been sent is a bit tedious. how can we enable that function?

not sure if stock has it but I know that GoSMS has the option to send notification if message fails if you do not mind a 3rd party app.
