HERO CLONE RUNNING WINDOWS MOBILE 6.5, Check this out, i dont know wether its weird or cool
http://www.wmexperts.com/htc-hero-clone-runs-winmo-weird
The specs on that phone are so low that I wouldn't go anywhere near it.
From working in a phone repairshop i seen phones like this everyday most where nokia , pretty good fakes
According to wm experts they say its made by htc
"The new HTC G3: a clone of the HTC Hero but sporting WM6.5?"
I thought it was a clone, now i am confused lol
its fake, i work on photoshop all day if you look at the offical htc hero images they have a fake lens shaddow all the way down that has been cut and pasted

FAKE
think about design before you speak
yes, i know that the hero G3 clone does not
meet the same caliber of specifications as does
it's htc-designed and built predecessor but
a real phone nerd would appreciate what the design
process is to an engineer...
are you gonna down-rate
a design that is meant to be cheap
on purpose; i mean, come on. stop
being so "hugely" corporate.
i tested and used this phone and
it's actually suberbly designed; stable
and power-saving. no drain. it
eat's very little charge.
given that it depends on which of the "tiger"
manufacturer's we are talking about.
open your eyes a little.
The fact it uses cheap crappy software and relies on the HTC Hero's brand name for marketing isn't at all "corporate" ....
And it uses very little battery because the hardware is hugely inferior (see you're previous point...)
I fully appreciate the design process - so what makes it fair for others to steal someone's design work and sell it on?
[playing devil's advocate here]

I remember from a while back that there was 2 versions of the wizard. One was the one that we are seeing now as the qtek9100 and the kjam and there was one that looked like the apache(cdma version) but it did not have the aerial stub so it could not of been the apache. Does anyone know if there will be a different looking wizard being made that looks similar to the apache? I am quite sure I like the apache design a bit better but I am looking for a GSM device.
Do you mean this ???
I know what you mean , I remember seeing the thread somewhere when info was very scetchy. The pictures we saw if I have you right where the K-Jam or Wizzard and the Apache although minus the arial. The first shots I saw of these were like this . Saying that though Mobilefun.co.uk swear their K-Jam unit will be CDMA even after speaking to them and sending them the Imate spec sheet .. If so then it's the closest guarded secret this century.
The Apache has just been released on Sprint in the states .. You lucky things  I think though the Apache is now a bigger device than was speculated .. Could be wrong though

yeah that is the one. i am really looking forward to the wizard since it seems to have everything i am after with the exception of built in GPS which i will sadly have to live without.
it seems like the units that are coming out are all in the qtek 9100 style which i am not too crazy about. i plan on buying a wizard the second it comes out but i would like to buy the latter version if possible. trouble is that i am not sure if i will be able to contain myself from buying the qtek 9100 once it comes out. especially since we have not seen any of the companies use the latter version as of yet. who knows when it is going to come out or even if it ever will.
I always thought the alternative styles were prototypes. I do remember seeing different versions in the FCC database but the only difference was that one had a camera, the other didnt (to make the phone acceptable in areas where cameras are forbidden).
It is Dopod 838

HTC's hipsteriffic invitations for a June 24th event in London contained precious few clues (DUDE'S WEARING A ROSE), but the Economic Daily News is now reporting something totally reasonable: it's for the Hero and Lancaster, HTC's presumed next Android phones.
Curiously, the paper refers to the two phones as one device, in two versions differentiated only by a keyboard.
The HTC Hero will be available in two versions, with and without a QWERTY keyboard. The model with a keyboard will be named HTC Memphis, or HTC Lancaster for sale by AT&T exclusively in the US for six months starting the third quarter, the paper indicated.
It certainly looks like there'll be a bit more than that to set the devices apart, and for the sake of variety, I hope there is. In any case, we'll be there. [Economic Daily News via Digitimes]

Looks like we won't be getting the Hero, or we have to wait until after the 6 months AT&T has it exclusively?
that phone is UGLY!! the mytouch 3g or what ever their calling it . looks way better
The version without the keyboard will probably be Hero, since the Lancaster is the one for AT&T.

how about this one?
http://ow.ly/b3EG
Anyone noticed that at least the Lancaster version has only a 240x320 display?
If this is also true for the HTC Hero version, it would be a clear disadvantage.

LMAO!!!!..............You are absolutely right. And why do they intend on doing the "Chin" thing on these devices. I mean im not really complaining(Lie) but i really want to know why and what purpose dos it serve.......lol im just saying.
this means that we're gonna have a better hero build with bluetooth that works
I read some people saying they don't like it's "clunky" look or that it's simply not as sleek as the iphone. Well I don't think it's really that bad and see it as a disguise from thieves. Who wants to steal a phone that doesn't look that sleek?
Anyways...I have very little complaints about my phone because it has everything I need in a single device....finally!
AMEN!
I used to carry around my old phone AND an iPod Touch, but I traded my iPod on craigslist for a G1 and I couldn't be happier.
Unlike a lot of people I enjoy Android much more than mobile OSX because of the more hands on and in depth modding. On the iPod all you needed to do was download a package and BAM there it was, new feature.
I also like the fact that the G1 is unique, ugly but unique. It seems like half the world's population owns an iPhone.
And yet there are a hundred themes and out home replacement apps that try and replicate the iPhone look. Why the infatuation? The iphone is pretty inferior if you ask me. The it took the second iteration to support 3G. And now the third supports MMS, video, and copy paste. Then they have the balls to tout these features as new and cutting edge. My razr had 3G when iPhone one came out. Come on apple. This sums it up pretty well I think.

I think it's easy for us to forget that Apple's in the fashion industry.
I don't hate the iphone but I do find it funny how everyon brags about it. Up until now I wasn't able to find something that beats. In most every way. I do wish my phone had a regular headphone jack simply so I could charge it AND plug my headphones in but I think there is a workaround with an adapter. Other than that I don't think I could be happier
I don't like the feel of iphonies... they're the wrong shape and dont fit in your hand right. Too wide makes it difficult to reach parts of the screen with your thumb when holding it in one hand.

The Lumia 505 specs are mostly unknown for now - all the carrier's Facebook account gave us was the 8 megapixel camera. We can also see that there's not going to be a flash of any kind alongside the camera.
However, the Windows key at the front features the old WP logo, so it's all but certain that the smartphone will be running some Windows Phone 7 version.
Now a closer look at its homescreen shows the support for resizable live tiles, so it's obvious that the smartphone will be running Windows Phone 7.8 out of the box.
There are also rumors of a 4" WVGA display, 800MHz CPU, 4GB of storage and 256MB of RAM, which make sense, but are yet to be confirmed. It would be a strange if Nokia invested too much effort in the design of a smartphone that is going to be exclusive to a Mexican carrier, so the Lumia 505 is most probably little more than a redesigned Lumia 510.
Guerrero Movil promised to reveal more information on the Nokia Lumia 505 in a week, so we won't have to wait long to find out.

Visual
Very good visual, cant wait to see it running on my device. :good:
And this Visual Design has a name : Suru ! welcome Suru
but let have a deep look, the phone picture is not the Galaxy Nexus as it used to be.
A hint to the new Hardware ?
Hardware
Maybe the Ubuntu phone to be released in autumn.
looks really great, calendar is a bit weird but whatever
i dont know why but that device looks like a Huawei to me
the os looks great, hopefully it performs well and gets the attention it deserves. though, in this market, that really depends on how many developers embrace the os and get the apps developed so it at least has a chance to succeed. allowing ios and android to get so big really causes problems for any newcomers due to the fact that there are already thousands of apps for both platforms which are now relatively stable, bug-free and full of features, and no one nowadays wants a phone which doesn't have stable, fast apps for everything they want to do.
i think the ubuntu devs definitely got the design right, tho -- the design reminds me of something you'd see in android, but with a lot of the...ideas and practicality that lay behind windows phone, which imo is a better platform than either ios or android for a phone but unfortunately doesn't have the community and therefore the developers/apps to compete.
would definitely be great to see this platform take off so we have another big competitor in the mix!

Don't get your hopes up. The pictures above are nothing more than digital concepts, it's just an artist's impression of what a "new" ubuntu-related generic smartphone would look like.
