Hi i'm new in this HTC Stuff
I HAVE HTC HD2 and i need to put Russian lang inside
I try to serch the furom but not success
if any one can send me link how to do it step by step + link to download russian flash files

Over here you can find a little tweaking application, download and install it (also note that you need .NetCF 3.5, wich can be downloaded from same topic)
Then run it, open menu, and about halfway in the menu you can find 'manilla language'
Idk if it will allow u to use russian though, for me it doesnt show that option, does show Czech, maybe thats russian, or maybe you get a different/bigger list of languages.
Even if it in the end doesnt give you russian, its still a nice app to have on your hd2
Let us know if that suffices, or that you will actually need a russian ROM? (in that case i cant be of any assistance, i dont know anything about roms)

I live in Germany but have very basic kowledge of the German language. So when I recently received the new Xperia Xi from T-mobile (under contract), I was shocked to find out that I could not change to English language. Both T-Mobile and SE do not want to help. Incredible. I was browsing the internet for some solution and encountered this forum. I saw some threads on the subject, and the solution seems to change some ROM thing (yeah, I have no idea!). However read some desperate messages s.a. phone got jammed etc. Any way got cofused and could not follow. So I have made this new thread JUST FOR GERMAN T-MOBILE. Can some kind member kindly lists down step by step instructions (with files, or links to files) on how the beat the system and change the language from German to English? Thanks help!

Ok....the only solution i know is to wait for an update.....they want to release it this year...if u download the upgrade manager u can select the language for the update maybe u get an english rom if u select that language...
Thanks reply. Yes its in German and want to change it to English. Your solution makes sense but I read somewhere that the English update would not work as the ROM has to be changed to English first. So not sure.

Hi all,
i bought a Tattoo here in Ireland for my nephew that lives in italy. he wants to have italian as a primary language on the phone.
I read that I can download the official WWE rom and simply flash that to get the missing languages.
Has anyone tried by any chance? Risk of bricking the phone? Problems with SPL or radio versions?
Just want to make sure im not sending him a dud for xmas

I'd say flash the WWE rom from the android development site. It comes with a big list of languages (Including Italian ).
I have updated the rom now i can use greek language but in sms composing the T9 isn't availble for greek.
Could anyone help please?
The strange part is that it is availble when i write text in the internet browser
guys can you please explain..
- where did you get the rom? i found a version but is in zip format and you need to cid unlock the phone first with the goldcard. im not too keen on that.
i dont understand how could I install the zip other than renaming to update.zip and reboot to recovery?? could someone please enlighten me?

i tried to download the arabic language support from htc website but it says incompatible with your device
i tried to download other different Arabic supports but i couldn't install any of them
please any one know what is the right way to get Arabic language support for my devise???????

i downloaded your file and extracted to a new folder on the desktop of the pc. once extracted, i saved that new folder to my htchd2 tmobile leo. however, when i try to run the file, i only can find a setup.xml icon. can you explain please what needs to be done. thanks!!!

Not Recommended ..
I don't recommended that you use the one attached above ..
use mine instead ..
Install the EzInput Keyboard after you install the Arabic ..
You also have to install PD SMS Fix
this fixes the reversed arabic msgs
