A couple of apps I've tried on my new HD2 say I need NET Compact 3.5.
I found it on the Microsoft site but it's for a PC, not a mobile. I can't find a version that I can load to my HD2, can someone point me in the right direction please?

running the download on my laptop did the install on my HD2 without any probs.

Before anyone blabs anything:
Googled & Live searched, no dice.
No luck searching through here, its been 20 pages of ROM integration talk and 8 people asking with either no result or brick-wall answers.
I just need the English version & I'll be on my way.
A .cab, .zip or .rar would be helpful thanks.
Here's all the MSI files for installing through ActiveSync but you can extract the CABs yourself.

5 bumps without so much as even a search! I just searched google for h264.cab, ac3.arm.cab, and FlashvideoBundle 1.4.4. Every single cab file showed up first link. Does anyone even know how to search anymore?
It doest work, why dont you just try to use the build in youtube app that was posted here? The desktop youtube only works with some video because newer video were encode differently and it doesnt support flash 3.1 and to me it looks like Sh!t anyway. Just use the youtube application.

I do apologise, i did search however unlike you state the first link is not always a good one, many of the links were invalid. I have now downloaded the files and follwed the instuctions and it works through IE but not opera so im sticking with the youtube player which seems to work relatively well.

The fixes provided worked in most 6.5 cooked roms, and all Leo roms even needed those. But I'm trying to use a 6.5.x rom in my Leo and I can't get UpToDate to work. The problem seems to be with netCF version and PIE, so I tried to found the differences between netCF in 6.5 and 6.5.x but didn't found anything. I was hoping if someone could help me with this, to understand if the problem is still in Shdocvw.dll or another file.

So, I've tried some roms and some netCF:
Under Dutty's Leo 23519 I've tried the stock 3.5.9085, with no sucess. So I installed .7283 and after .9198, and both didn't work too, with or without the other fixes posted in older threats.
So I flashed back Topix 21889, witch has .9198, and UpToDate worked with no problems.
I've also tried all those settings with IE as the default explorer, nothing...
Summary: I don't have even a clue for what can be holding the app to work normally, anyone has any idea?

I just got an HD2 through T-Mobile. I tried to install NCF 3.5, but it says I have a more recent version and I have to uninstall it to put 3.5 on. I searched through the forums here and tried what answers I could. I went to Modaco and downloaded their 2 cabs, I could install the first but not the 3.5 itself. This is from (modaco-how to install net compact framework without having to upgrade your rom). I looked to change the dll file to txt but couldn't find the dll described in the forum on here. Can anyone tell me what I need to do?

I realize the hd2 forum is all but dead, but if someone is still around, I would extremely appreciate if someone could share some working links / upload somewhere some 6.5.5 roms to download and flash. I've just recently got a new hd2 and want to set it up as I had it back in the day with the latest fw to relive some pocket pc games. If someone could share docs and links for setting up a kitchen that would be super useful too.
I'd be uploading it all to various mirrors for preservation.
