wifi settings gone walk about...

New problem this morning....
All of a sudden the phone won't connect to my wifi access point....it's been connecting and working fine for a couple of weeks, but this morning had lost the connection details for my home access point!
Anyone had similar issues? or know of a reason why?

This happens to me a lot. It seems to be if the router is switched off and it makes a number of attempts to access it and when it gives up it 'forgets' the settings. Anyone else got any ideas?

Save WM6 Wi-fi access point settings
I have posted this on another thread but will repeat it here as this seems to be the same issue.
My understanding is if there is any problem connecting to Wifi, WM6 deletes the Wifi settings for that access point. I think my friends have come up with a quick solution to this problem. Wifi Hero is a little application you can get for $2 that saves and restores your wifi settings using standard Windows Mobile APIs. WIfi works for PIE but not skype?

Hi, When I connect to Wifi on my phone my PIE works.
But for some reason, Skype and Agile messenger does not connect when I have it on wifi.
Does anyone know whats wrong? I already reinstalled the programs several times.
also, is there a way to always keep wifi on? For example, when the phone goes to sleep, I don't want the wifi to disconnect.

Internet failure

Hi guys
My girlfriend has a palm treo pro but she has a problem and i was wondering if you could help her out cause i am not able to.
She can't connect with internet explorer to the internet. I have tried all the connection setups provided by her provider but it still isn't working. although she CAN send e-mails and receive e-mails and connect to windows live messenger.
Is this a registry problem or am i still configuring some stuff wrong.

Have you tried using another browser like Skyfire or Opera? Give them a shot and we can see what happens from there.

I'm trying to connect Messenger through wifi without any success, other apps connect to the internet without any problem. I saw that it's a well known issue, but i didn't find any solution searching XDA.

Cyanogenmod: WiFi and 3G

Hi guys,
after having installed CyanogenMod 7 v. 2.6 I have got problems with WiFi and 3G connection. Sometimes it seems my phone disconnects with the internet. Actually, the widget shows that connections are enabled but the market or browser won´t load anymore and I get the message that I need to check the connection :S
In this case, the only thing that helps is to switch to flightmode for some seconds. Sometimes even this does not solve the problem and I have to restart my phone.

I noticed another problem, that might have a relation to the first one i have described.
Sometimes when I like to connect my phone to the internet via 3G or WiFi (using the integrated widget) it does not connect at all. The status bar does not show the WiFi or 3G sign and browsing is not possible.
Damn guys I need your help
