HTC Touch Cruise

I was wondering how to get my device back to normal.
I updated the radio rom to 1.64.04 and now cannot get a phone service (No service).
I have reinstated the radio to 1.58.21.23 to no avail
I have also tried the offical rom for my device.
I would be greatful for any help.
Rom Ver 1.25.405.1 WWE
Radio date 12/11/07
Radio 1.58.21.23
Protocol ver 25.65.30.04H

Try to find the post "reception difficulties", you will have all the answer you need.
Actually you have to download the Murata ROM 1.58.21.23. It is the best for the new Cruise (new components).
I add exactly the same problem than you and I solved it with the Murata ROM

can't downgrade drom 1.65.30.09 radio ROM

I have installed 3Lite Full version ROM, it had install the 1.65.30.09 RAdio,
After i finished, the ROM working perfect,but I can't do hard reset or downgrade the Radio,
Both case i always get the Bootscreen (3colors) and also can't flash original ROM it is freeze 24%
can anybody help

I have tried almost all radio and cooked rom,
Hopefully i found only 1 ROM that is working for me and now I have a solution

Good for you mate I'm still keeping it in my Polaris, but I have changed it succesfully to 1.70 or 1.71 in my Kaiser, so I dont think it's not a case of radio from hell.

u can flash 1.59.44.02 before you flash other ROM.

radio v1.58 first
i had experienced this, i found a solution for this, by downgrading to radio 1.58, then i install radio 1.59

i can't flash my rom too... and i want to flash RUU_Polaris_HTC_PTG_3.13.410.0_radio_sign_25.85.30.07_1.59.42.15_Ship and i can't!!!

I have the same problem too. But I slove this problem by downgrading Radio
From 1.65.30.09 to 1.59.44.02 first, after that you can downgrade to any Radio . You can not downgrade directly from 1.65.30.09 to another Radio.
Please downgrade to 1.59.44.02 first ,then you will be able to flash another Radio.
I mean those who have installed 3LIT3 rom with Radio 1.65.30.09, if you want to downgrade to another Radio you must flash (downgrade) Radio 1.59.44.02 first.After that you can downgrade to another radio.

Which Radio rom is best suitable for the wwe 0.67 rom by Bepe

Hi all,
At flashing a pda i'm a newbie
but recently I flashed it to the wwe 0.67 rom bye bepe, and i like it alot, faster than standard rom,...
but I sometimes have some reception problems now...
And after reading some of the threads here I now understand that some radio roms work better with a certain rom.
So my question now is: which radio rom works best together with the wwe 0.67 rom by Bepe?
I currently use the 1.58.21.23 radio rom.

Hi, I use 0.67 Bepe too. Alright Radio rom is 1.64.06.04

Pls do further reading on radio rom post. You are advisable to used radio ROM 1.58.xx.xx or 1.59.xx.xx depend on OEM driver. You can do trial and error on this two version radio without any harm. Better don't used radio 1.65.xx.xx for newbie

How to update Radio Version?

Hello,
I have the following ROM and Radio Version:
Rom: 1.48.405.2 (71294 WWE) (Generic Handset)
Radio: 2.05.51.05_2
There is a ROM UK update in HTC website and I am planning to apply it.
Will I get a newer version of Radio if I update the ROM?
Or do you update the Radio and ROM seperately?
If yes how do I update or downgrade the Radio?

yes, the radio is updated with the ROM, although there was a newer radio update for 1.48 a couple of weeks back...just get 1.66 and you're good to go...

I guess once you update to the newest rom version there is no way to downgrade the radio version.
I mention that because some people complained about battery life in different post with radio 2.07...

If you have HSPL installed you can flash just the radio part, any version you like. Go have a read of the RADIO ROM thread here

I have updated the rom to Artemis 41
Setup on Artemis

ROM Version: 41.0 WWE
Radio Version: 2.07.51.22_2
Protocol Version 15.32.50.07U
But now I still believe I need to update the Radio to at least 2.08.
Can someone tell me if this is possible and if so when I can get the necessary Radio file?

Hi,
I think, if what you have posted is correct, that you have made a little mistake. Artemis' new roms have great problems with HSPL. You must flash using SSPL as described here.
All Leo's radio can be found here. Be careful to use the right radio for your phone. The last 2.15.50, if you have an european version of HD2 it's right. If you have a T-mobile 1GB ram I don't know,

Sir first of all go back on the Artemis thread. If you mention to have Artemis ROM v41.0 and HSPL!!! You missed some important informations.
First of all Artemis ROM v41 Is build on latest Stock ROM 3.14!!!
And Stock Rom 3.14 isn't compatible with HSPL!!!
So first of all; tern back on previous stock rom
- remove HSPL!!!!
- install stock ROM 3.14
- and than install Artemis Rom v41.0!!!
More info can be find on first page of Artemis ROM.
Ow, on's you have done all this (correctly) you don't need to have a other radio version. the radio version of Sock Rom 3.14 is compatible with Android; also Artemis ROM v41.0 is compatible.

It isn't Artemis ROM who have problems with HSPL sir.
The problem is that latest Artemis version is build on Stock Rom 3.14; the one who isn't compatible with HSPL!
PS, you can't change Radio version from Stock Rom 3.14! because you need HSPL (the one who isn't compatible with spl 3.03)

I still have HSPL running and Atemis and when I upgraded the radio now Android is running, but the radio functions are not too stable, so looking to find the correct radio.

its not the radio making it unstable, it is hspl plus a 3.x ROM.
go look at your free program memory, bet it says about 50mb,, it should be around 170

In case you miss it; SPL 3.03 is not the same as HSPL
No offence, I don't have anything against you, but it seems sometime peoples have problems to read.
