Hello to all!
Really very sorry in advance if there already was such a topic but I am for the first time here and not so expirienced...
I bought my device Qtek2020i in Russia,
ROM 1.11.00 WWE
01/27/05
Radio 1.02.00
Protocol 1337.41
Extended ROM 1.11.113 WWE
Where can I download the latest ROM version to upgrade it?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=43054 Here You can find not the latest, but stable and crap-striped ROM. And it will update your radio to 1.04.00.
The latest possible ROM is 1.11.171.
But be aware, You will loose russian language in Windows, if You have one.
Thanks a lot, TSD
Of course it's much better to have STABLE rom rathen than the latest one!
Have you ever upgraded your device? May be you can show the instruction how to perform it..
Hi,
Currently I have stock ROM 1.66 installed and it came with radio 2.06.51.07.
Should I upgrade it to 2.07.51.05?
Ty
I upgraded my o2 branded mini to
Photon/RUU_Photon_HTC_Europe_1.36.401.1_Radio_Signed_32.2803.05.06_0.63.05.36_Ship.exe
and it took fine HOWEVER my radio is listed as
0.63.05.18 and I found out that .36 is the latest Radio ROM.
Darkforces advises against messing with the radio,; is there a way around this to get the latest radio rom?
Only Radio Upgrade
I need also upgrade my radio version. how it possible without ROM upgrade???
I need to update my radio version to allow Android to run (I Believe)
My version is

But now I still believe I need to update the Radio to at least 2.08.
Can someone tell me if this is possible and if so when I can get the necessary Radio file?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I think, if what you have posted is correct, that you have made a little mistake. Artemis' new roms have great problems with HSPL. You must flash using SSPL as described here.
All Leo's radio can be found here. Be careful to use the right radio for your phone. The last 2.15.50, if you have an european version of HD2 it's right. If you have a T-mobile 1GB ram I don't know,

Sir first of all go back on the Artemis thread. If you mention to have Artemis ROM v41.0 and HSPL!!! You missed some important informations.
First of all Artemis ROM v41 Is build on latest Stock ROM 3.14!!!
And Stock Rom 3.14 isn't compatible with HSPL!!!
So first of all; tern back on previous stock rom
- remove HSPL!!!!
- install stock ROM 3.14
- and than install Artemis Rom v41.0!!!
More info can be find on first page of Artemis ROM.
Ow, on's you have done all this (correctly) you don't need to have a other radio version. the radio version of Sock Rom 3.14 is compatible with Android; also Artemis ROM v41.0 is compatible.

It isn't Artemis ROM who have problems with HSPL sir.
The problem is that latest Artemis version is build on Stock Rom 3.14; the one who isn't compatible with HSPL!
PS, you can't change Radio version from Stock Rom 3.14! because you need HSPL (the one who isn't compatible with spl 3.03)
Hi Kurt,
I read the Artemis and didn't see that it wasn't compatible with HSPL 2. I read this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=612580
I still have HSPL running and Atemis and when I upgraded the radio now Android is running, but the radio functions are not too stable, so looking to find the correct radio.
Thanks for your help.

its not the radio making it unstable, it is hspl plus a 3.x ROM.
go look at your free program memory, bet it says about 50mb,, it should be around 170

Pleas sir, I have the impression you don't read; ore you don't see it.
Ow, This is nothing from me; but this is mentioned from the beginning at the Artemis First Page thread!!
NOTE 5 : Please use ver 4x.x GEN IV with SPL 3.03.0000 from stock LEO-S 3.14

In case you miss it; SPL 3.03 is not the same as HSPL
No offence, I don't have anything against you, but it seems sometime peoples have problems to read.
Hi all,
I'm trying to flash a friends HTC HD 2 after succesfully having Android on my own. The problem is that the ROM version on his HD 2 is different from my own and I can't find any way to update the 1.66.404.1 version or to get a lower version like 1.66.0000 or lower to get hardSPL on it. HSPL3 does install and do give al the correct reports during install, but after rebooting, there is still that annoying Rom 1.66.404.1!
Manilla: 2.5.19211619.0
Rom: 1.66.404.1 (76641) NLD
Rom date: 01/14/10
Radio: 2.06.51.07
Does anybody have any idea?
P.S. ( probably a known issue, but i searched for an hour now and found nothing on this forum about it. if so, sorry )
Hi Glideboy,
First of all which rom version is on your own HD2?
An HSPL overwrites the existing SPL so you can flash different roms from another carrier or cooked roms. The 1.66 rom version stays also after flashing an HSPL.
I see that you're a new member here and don't want to give you to much difficulties because if somehting is going wrong you can brick the device.
So if you want to run android you need a 3.14 based rom (check HD2 rom thread) and also a good radio for example 2.15.
Easiest way is to flash the official HTC 3.14 rom with the newest drivers and radio already in it.
The phone is having a HSPL already so now you can flash every rom you like with the customruu. Check the HD2 rom thread, read carefully and after that you can run a nice android build.
Good Luck
