Hi all,
Some ROM's have a built in app called "Send Receive All" - which basically initiates a SEND/RECEIVE for all email accounts, when the app is run.
I was wondering if anyone has the cab file for that application they would like to share.
I know we can schedule an auto send/receive for all accounts - I don't want to do that as I don't have signal where I work, and I don't ant to waste battery life ..... I am also aware that there are apps that can schedule a send/receive. THESE ARE NOT WHAT I WANT.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hello people,
As y'all know that im new to this PPC development, Ive been into a new project to send sms for Birthdays and other reminders automatically..
Im planning to do with my only known language of Visual Basic .net and that too 2003 edition as i couldnt afford the latest 2005 edition..
So my plans to follow these steps..
-To send sms at the specific time (Accomplished)
-To set a database and store the sms events and so many sms events are handled
-To get the dates from Pocket Outlook database and add to mine
-Well it keeps goin as updates then
So any comments, suggestions and ideas are welcomed!

Hi Carty,
I wonder that whether your project completed or not. I have the same idea with you and I search your topic . I think this is a useful chalenge for novices who want to get into the world of PPC application.
I'm trying develop an application for sending and reading SMS automatically. I would appreciate if you could give me some guide lines how to send/receive sms, etc.
For the problem of your application with background process, I think that you may think of the alarm function , it also runs while the device is sleeping.
Tks n best regards.

Hi all!
I need a program that allow me to write an sms and set a specific date and time when it will be sent!
Is it possible?
Sorry this isnt a reply but i think that this sort of program would be so useful, i mean you can do it with MMS as standard but why not SMS, i would find it so useful because the misses always gives me trouble because i forget to text during the day, well with this my troubles are a thing of the past
Take a look at http://s-k-tools.com/skschema/skschema.html
Just search for SMS, Schedule
Or look for O2 SMS..
And why use S.O.S. in al your subjects? I think it's realy annoying! What's next? People adding "I NEEEEEEED YOOOOOOUR HEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!"
Before you know it we need a filter to get rid of the junk that people add to their subject.
If you post a problem will be on the top of the list, so people will read it!
Thanks guys!
I have just installed Flexmail 4 (2008 edition). I have a few questions related to the software and possible hacking. I am new to using this software and I would appreciate if anyone can guide me. Thank you in advance.
1) I have read in the past that flexmail has to be running to receive emails. I have played around with the software but was unable to receive email when the program was closed. Is it possible to have flexmail closed yet still receive emails?
2) I have read about changing HTC Home email icon and directing it to flexmail rather than Tmail. If this is true does flexmail still have to be running to receive emails?
Sorry if these questions have already been answered. I may have missed or misunderstood the resources provided to me on XDA.
Again thanks in advance.

I was considering posting it under Q&A. However, after my research I thought best to post it in D&A because registry changes may have to be created. In addition, it is possible that another user of flexmail may be inspired to create a similar application.
All in All if mods want to move it they can and I do apologize for posting here if not needed.
Yes, FM has to be running to recieve the emails, for all types of servers. Check WebIS website, they have a list of all the reg values and how to create shortcuts.
And, yes this should have been posted in Q&A.

1. Minimize. You can't exit it, or no, it doesn't work.
2. No idea, but yes, it'd still have to be running.
3. You didn't ask, but Flexmail works rather good. Memory usage is good, battery usage is good, and it's pretty flexible. Only thing I really wish they'd implement is per-mailbox notifications. I really want to know when an email hits a specific mailbox vs "just another email. Someday I guess.

LOL on #3. I emailed WebIS, and their support isn't that great. It sucks! Makes new local folders useless.
For the mem consumption, my old 6800 could barely handle it.
Hi there!
please what program to use in
delating delivery report messages. they are kind of annoying. thanks.
Do you want the delivery report turned off?
that option is in your sms settings, not really clear what your asking for.
i want it on but to delate messages automaatically after some days. thanks.
please,can anybody help.
try flexmail
You can make a rule, dump the notifcations in a sub folder and then delete the content of the floder one ina while.
Not sure if the is a differnet delete rule in flexmail, you would need play and check
www.webis.net
PS Bumping your own thread does not make you any friends !!!
I've been using the freeware app "SMS reports eraser" for this purpose for a while now. Works fine on my HD. You can find it here: http://www.jgui.net/black/smsreportseraser/index.html . Hope this helps!
Is there a possible regedit, which could allow us to delete emails in the preview mode (the same way we can delete, forward, or reply in the preview mode of SMS text messages)? It would be nice if we didn't have to open every single email in order to delete it. Anyone have a workaround for eliminating this extra step? Thanks if you've got one to share.
I would also like to know this. A way of marking an email as read from the preview would be helpful too.
Thirded.
This would be awesome.
Yeah! I would also like this.
Been asked before, but yes I would like this too!! Having to open an email to have it marked as read is annoying when you have quite a few that you dont actually need to read in detail there and then!!
I'm interested also
Still no clue ?
Anything on this yet ?
