If i go to the the HTC Sense agenda's week overview and I press the up or down button it almost randomly chooses a week? Anybody having similar problems or a solution?
Same problem here. It works well when you only move forward or only move backward. When going a week further and then a week back the agenda goes crazy.
Here's a video on YouTube describing a problem with the week view... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7abOlvjeb0

Occasionally, when I go to launch the messaging app on my xv6800 either through HTC Home or from the hardware button, it will either not launch or take it's time freezing up the phone in the mean time. other times, it opens right up. Hit & Miss as some would say. Anyone else deal with this and/or have a solution?

I deal with it and it is annoying to say the least.
If the messaging application or any application is already running in RAM then it should start up faster, But if you close it out completely it will take a while to launch an application depending on the size.

Ditto.. Thought it was just me..
same here.. just something to live with.......
Just have it running in your phone's RAM. Don't close out of it because that's what will happen. I just leave mine running all the time, and I have my QuickMenu set to exclude it from closing it when you press X. It loads up instantly like this.
I suffer the same headache, though it only started for me about a week ago (and I've had my xv6800 for 4 months).
The only thing that has changed on my phone since Messaging started to freeze/lock up is that I installed the new PCM Keyboard (v 0.14). I doubt that's the cause, but wondering if any of you are running it too?
UPDATE
I recently installed SPB Pocket Plus due to some personal interests and after having it on for a day I noticed that launching the messaging application runs abit faster.

Thanks for the Quick Menu tip! It works like a charm!

I have PCM 14 on mine too but haven't noticed if that's been the culprit. But the Quick Menu solution works.
I recently found a registry edit (though for the life of me I can't remember where) that sped up the launching of internet explorer. It took the launching from 4-5 seconds to instantaneous. Maybe there is a reg edit to fix messaging also?
In agenda view the HTC calendar in HD2 only allows you to see from today to one week in the future, which I find too limited, sometimes I need to look back before today, or to make an appointments more than a week in advance.
Does anyone know how to extend the period visible?
There is a download on the HTC website which 'expands the dynamic nature of the Calendar application. Whether your week starts on Monday or Sunday, allowing you to view appointments occurring tomorrow, next week, or even next month.' I installed this fix that I thought might help, I'm not sure what it has changed, but has not done what I wanted.
I totally agree! One week view is not enough...
I am also wondering what the calender hot-fix did. I haven't noticed any changes... Anyone?

I'm not sure but I believe the hotfix was addressed to resolve the problem related to a bug in the week view. Sometimes when you go from week to week, it strangely jumps to a wrong week (not previous or next).
Is anyone experiencing this issue? You're on the facebook app, you click on notifications and as it loads, 2-3 seconds later it forces you to the previous page. Happens on the Market app when checking "downloads", facebook, gameboid when running any ROM (tried different releases of gameboid, old to newest), google news reader widget, sometimes gmail and it happens always randomly. This never happened to me with CM4 or other Donut roms. Has only happened on CM5.0.8 and sparingly on CM6.
Any ideas? Fix Permissions?
I've had this same problem since the day it came out. I have searched and asked all I can. As far as I can tell, there is no fix. Compcache seemed to help a tiny bit and not being on wifi. Other than that, no idea.
Does the keyboard quit when you bring it up to type as well? This happens randomly to me and makes sending an sms or searching for something take a good five to ten seconds. Its as if there is something wrong with the back button physically... I'll try compcache and see if it helps
Better Keyboard did, stock keyboard never did. Swype would stop in mid slide and start again meaning it only got half the actual word then created a second word.
I've switched to Super E and notice no problems.
Hi all. I've tried looking for answers to these on the forum so hopefully I won't get blasted if they happen to be hidden away somewhere.
I'm running the HTC Blinkfeed port (launcher) on my phone. It's actually a One Plus One but seeing as it's running stock Android (more or less) I figured it was okay to post here (plus this is where I found the newly closed big thread on the port).
I'm coming from an M8 so I have it next to me to make comparisons with.
- While the weather widget shows up on top of the feed page, it doesn't seem to launch anything when I press it. It's also displaying in celcius instead of farenheit. Can those be fixed on my part or are they still being worked on?
- Are the phone and messaging apps that come on that M8 available yet?
- When the next iteration of the port comes out, what do I do exactly? Do I have to remove the one I currently have or can the files be installed on top of it? Will I lose my Blinkfeed settings when I do it?
Thank you!

Have you tried posting this in the thread for the blinkfeed port?:good:
Hello,
I have been searching the forums and the web for an answer but no luck, I hope someone could help me figure out what could be the issue.
I'm attaching some pictures so you can see exactly what is going on. At this moment I have this issue, with the play store, facebook and viber...
I have reset the phone multiple times and still the same.
It happens when you start to scroll, with facebook it is actually weird, it doesn't happen all the time, and it overlaps only like the "gray box" where you have the Like, Comment and Share buttons.
Phone is Galaxy S5 SM-G900H.
Thanks for any help!

Saw your thread, mine has never done that, no lagging nor freezing.
Mine actually works fine. In any of the applications I mentioned, if I scroll to the right (viber and facebook) and then go back, the top bar displays fine, the if you start to scroll down or up, it happens again.
I'll continue searching and testing....
You are on the first stage . I think )
Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 900h. I experience the same problem but only on Facebook, I did the screen test (*#0*#0 or something like that) and in my opinion the hardware is working properly. Also If I turn my phone Facebook screen refresh in good shape, so I think It's a refresh problem.
Does anybody has the same issue? How to solve it?
Regards.
overlapping issue
did any one found solution for this i am still facing this issue with facebook, twitter and viber
Hi:
Since yesterday tweeter is overlapping also, when scrolling up at the left corner it disappeared the tweeter icon and overlap the user tweet photo.
The screen works OK it's just a display refresh issue but instead of fix it there are some other apps with the same issue. Today Facebook and Tweeter shows the same problem.
Does Samsung knows about this? I Think they must deploy an operation system fix immediately.
Regards.
Hi:
I am very happy to tell you yesterday my phone receive an update and automatically installed Android 5.0. All screens problems have been disappeared in Facebook and Twitter.
Now my Galaxy S5 is working fine.
Did you already receive the update?
Regards!
Has anyone found a fix for this other than getting an update? I'm on the Straight Talk version of S5, which doesn't have any updates to Lollipop. I'm stuck with this overlapping issue. Maybe if I restore a nandroid backup or something? They never made an ODIN flashable for my version either, so nandroid is the best I can do. Maybe an xposed module could fix it? Idk, just ideas. I realize this thread is from over a year ago, but the problem still exists for some of us who can't update :/
