Do we need these registry hacks with the new ROM (AKU2)?
Is there a hack to put the date & time in the title bar on ALL screens (including the today screen)?
(AKU 2.0 removes the time from the title bar when viewing the today screen.)

I actually installed the date & time reg hack from this thread in the Universal forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=41968
It works on my Prophet with AKU 2.0, but it shows the date in European format (e.g., 28 . 03 for March 28). Hate to be a stupid American, but I'd prefer the month and day switched to 3-28. I wonder if that's possible?[/url]

hi there, i believe you can still change the date representation in regional settings.
Tried the software on a Pro flashed S200 ROM, however, i still have the battery on the today screen. On other apps, it works fine.
Also, with wm5 v 2 (the one with aku2), i can't seem to get phone pad to start as default.
tried this already:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SIP
"DefaulfIM" --> {51A2CB38-154E-4C92-A625-A83871C99EC2}
Although the key remains the same after reboots, and its the same key that's found in CLSID, the keyboard is defaulted after every reboot.

Yes, the keyboard is default no matter what reg hacks I try either. Tweaks2k2 and sktools tweaks don't work either. I think it's a wm5 thing and I can't figure it out.
Hi all,
searching for "locklevel" accross this forum did not give any result so maybe it may help to find a solution:
Since a view days i have the "backlight issue" (reseting to 7 seconds batterytimeout after standby) on my xda neo,WM5 AKU 2.0.
Changing values in registry i noticed an entry
HKCU\Controlpanel\Backlight\LockLevel. In there is a DWORD VALUE called LockLevel which had DEC Value "1" .
Changing this Value to "0" BatteryTimeout Values are kept after Standby until doing a Softreset. After Softreset LockLevel-Value ist set back to "1".
Searching for "Locklevel" using google did not bring up any result.
Maybe someone in this forum has any knowledge about this entry.
Thanks

hi,
I've got a huge problem with brightness,
my code is:
Code:
RegistryKey key = Registry.CurrentUser.OpenSubKey("ControlPanel").OpenSubKey("BackLight", true);
int value = (int)key.GetValue("Brightness");
key.SetValue("Brightness", (value + 1) % 10, RegistryValueKind.DWord);
key.Close();
DoAutoResetEvent("BackLightChangeEvent");
I know what registry values change but I don't know the event name to raise.
I tried "BackLightChangeEvent" and "SDKBackLightChangeEvent",which I found when googling this problem and they didn't work...
Can someone please tell me the event name?
Hi Guys,
What do you think are the best registry edits on the TD2 and what do they do?
I have been looking through the old ones for the TD1 and i have been changing thinks like the GPS enable on the camera ETC.
Any good suggestions you might have to improve the TD2 experience would be gratefully appreciated

I can't get this to work for TomTom, basically I have :
1. Add string value to HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleName
String: Mobile Navigator Value: \Program Files\Navigator\TomTom Audio Fix.exe
2. Add string value to HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList

Not sure what is wrong here.
I think you have to add tomtom itself instead of the audio fix, because the audio fix loads the tomtom app.
[Edit] Just read the previous post, apparently I'm wrong.

I use a program called changescreen, it auto rotates by default but you can specifiy which apps you don't want to rotate. This works for TomTom + everything else. I didn't want to have to use an app to rotate, I'd rather have the phone take care of it but the rotate implementation on the D2 is pretty half-arsed. The reason I have to use this is because I'm left handed and tilt clockwise, htc in their infinite wisdom only tilts anticlockwise, for right handed people.

registry keys but with CE Reg Editor it says it doesn't have permission. I can edit the entries in many other places though. I've dug around a bit and the below appears to come recommended for getting round some security (particularly for some dll's and cabs), but depending on where I look the numbers are a bit different and sometimes the keys are as well. Please can someone confirm if these are the keys and whether they are all necessary.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies \0000 1001 = 2
Change the value data from 2 to 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies \0000 1005 = 16
Change the value data from 16 to 40
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies \0000 1017 = 128
Change the value data from 128 to 144
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Security\Policies \Policies
Add new value "0000101b": Dword = 1
Thanks!!
I've upgraded to the new 3.14 WWE ROM BTW and I don't remember having this problem before (it could be that one of the cabs I applied though made the changes for me, I'm just not sure)
UPDATE: Just found this
