Is there any way or software where i can pick up music radio stations on my xda mini?
Easy over wifi.
Try Radiofeeds amongst others.
Also try TheStreamCenter (formerly radio4pda.com)
Streaming Music on Wizard
With GSPlayer freeware (http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=701) you can play ShoutCast playlists.
Resco Radio
U can try thr Resco Radio. I use it and it works great for streaming radio.

uk internet radio player

Im looking for a uk radio station streaming app ie: galaxy radio1 kiss etc.just got my desire and new to android.
The FM radio App has them on there! Why don't you use it?
He might not be able to get those stations on FM where he lives!
I can understand it. I like to listen to Capital to keep up on what is going on up in London, but obviously it's not transmitted outside London....
I know Resco do something for WM, but i don;t know about for android...there doesn't seem to be anything obvious in a quick search of the market....
ive found an app for galaxy fm but not a working version for all BBC radio channels etc. hopefully we can get one on android soon like Tunin on iphone
have you tried listening to the BBC channels using beebplayer? i'm sure i saw something about radio in there.... it's only likely to be the major stations and not the local/regional ones though.

thats the way to go, don't know if it'll work but go to your preferred bbc radio station site n hit the "listen live" feature
radio 1: bbc.co.uk/radio1
radio 2: bbc.co.uk/radio2
etc.
if the listen live function doesn't work, just get the url address when you use the "listen live" and enter that in coz they play through the iPlayer
ive tried the bbc website no joy, tried the beeb player the radio stations are not working, as for the copy the url into iplayer im not sure where.

FM radio will not work without external headphones or speakers. I like to use the built in speaker sometime.
Tried Xfm. Not bad but shame there's no BBC.
If you want a custom radio app with your favourite artists, I recommend Last FM application, it works pretty well on my Desire!
You'll need to sign up to Last.fm (free) and add your favourite artists to your library, works a bit like Pandora which is now defunct out of the USA

[Request] wma compatible online radio

Hey there!
I want to listen to a specific radio channel (P3, a danish radio channel) but it just so happens, that i cannot find it preloaded in any radio apps, and they only broadcast in .wma.. So what i am looking for is an app, that will let me enter the URL for their stream (.pls) and then play it for me. I found radio apps that supposedly support .wma, but they don't allow for custom URLs. I also found apps that support custom URLs, but not wma..
Prease Halp!
Hi m8 - the app i use to stream nearly ANY type of radio station including wma is an app called Xiia Lite.
Ive blogged about it over at my blog
http://djleekee.wordpress.com/2010/05/01/recommended-android-apps-april-2010/
Its second on the list, inlcuding the barcode to get it! Happy scanning.

[WORKING] Record while playing FM radio on Android

Record while playing FM radio on your android phone.
1- Install tape-a-talk pro.
2- Place the tape-a-talk pro widget on your homescreen.
3- Turn FM radio ON and set the sound output to loudspeaker (not ear/headphones).
4- In homescreen, press the red circle (record) of the widget. You won't hear the radio anymore.
5- Go to the radio app, turn the radio OFF then ON.
6- Now you can hear the radio, and the tape-a-talk app is still recording! Go to the app and stop the recording process when you want.
7- Play the recorded audio while on Soundhound/Shazam to identify the song played on the radio!
Tested on a Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 running the stable and official CM7.2 with the built-in FM radio app and tape-a-talk pro 0.9.8.0.6
NB: it should work with the free tape-a-talk app using the same concept (probably not the same steps).

Hi thanks for this post, I followed your instructions as laid out. However, on getting to step 4, when I press the red circle on the widget, I get the following error message "There was an error whiile starting the recording. Please change the settings or make sure your sd card is writable."
What do you think the problem is? As far as I know my SD card is not write protected. I use a Samsung Galaxy S2.
Thanks.

[Q] preset stations in name

Hi. Is any way to preset the stations on my Defy+ by name ("nitro radio" instead of "103,6")?
