Fadded call notication? - Imagio General

Anyone know how to get the fadded call notification to go away after you select it and select dismiss in the notification menu? It's rather annoying that I have to do a soft reset/power off to get it to go away. Then if I decide not to mess with it, I have a an ! on the noticiation/tast bar that will not go away.
Also, anyone know how to disable the notification menu during a phone call? I swear about 9 our of 10 calls result in me opening the notification menu. I guess the proximity sensor doesn't work as quickly as it probably should.

Anyone?

Red blinking light won't go away after ROM update

After updating the XDA II ROM to 1.60.00WWE, I noticed a problem not present in the old ROM. Sometimes, the red blinking notification light (on the upper right corner) won't go away even after I have already dismissed the message or reminder that triggered the notification. This usually happens when the XDA II displays a reminder while it is locked (password-protected). This also usually happens when I quickly dismiss an SMS notification. Does anyone know what is causing this problem? Is there any work-around (other than disabling the notification light)?
I had noticed this - annoying isn't it? I have not found a workaround yet, and I am working on finding out the exact sequence of events...
I think that what happens is that the XDA triggers notifications in this order:
display
vibrate
sound
flash
If you dismiss the notification before the flash is started - possible because you have a long .wav as sound, the 'turn off' notification is submitted before the flash is activated. This, obviously, causes the flash to occur with no easy mean to turn it off.
We need a desktop plug-in that can turn the flash off as needed.
Sending an SMS and dismissing the sent notification bubble turns off the flash for me.
Regards
Michael
Hi,
One workaround that I have found is to go the Start -> Settings -> Sound & Notifications -> Notifications. Then close the screen and this would dismiss the blinking notification light.

That's also what I do. But I hope we can have a real bug fix soon.

[Q] Notification Issue

Hey I am new to these forums and the CM7 ROM for the shift. I put it on last night and I am having some trouble with the notification settings. On the stock sense ROM I was able to set my notifications to vibrate when I got one, mainly a text message. On the CM7 ROM for notifications I can only put it to "no noise" at all or a ringtone, like a beep. I would like to have a vibrate option but I cannot seem to find one. I appreciate all the help. Let me know if you need any more information, thanks.
try this: go into settings then sound setting, then under general tap on vibrate and set it to always..
or u can open up ur messages then hit menu and then settings the scroll down to notifications make sure notifications are checked then go to notification settings and tap vibrate and set it to always

That worked! Thank you, I didnt even think about going about it that way.
I had this problem too...
Go to Settings>CyanogenMod Settings>Interface>Notification Power Widget
Now check "Notification Power Widget" and then go into widget buttons.
Pick whatever tickles your fancy, but make sure toggle sound is on. You can also change the types of sound in the bottom "Sound Modes" Category and you caan change the order if you hit "Back" then "Widget Button Order".
Now reboot your device and when it turns back on, slide down the notification bar and at the top there should be a toggle which looks like Vibrate/Sound/Silent and that's how you change the sound!
I am also having this issue. i have no vibrate on any text messaging or even gmail .
I have the newest cm7, have tried turning vibrate on where ever i could. Wiped and re flashed but have the same problem .
phone will only vibrate on call and when i change from silent to vibrate.

[Q] Phone notification won't go away

Hello
I'm running Android 4.2.2 and my phone is rooted. I'm currently using full!screen+ (paid version). Whenever I receive a phone call, a window pops-down from the notification bar (see screenshot attachment). Ignore the big red mark that I accidentally made in QuickNote when capturing screenshot.
Regardless of whether I answer or decline the call, the notification window stays there and does not go away. In fact, it sits on top of any window/app I open so I can't see anything behind it.
This notification window comes up only when I'm receiving a call while another app is open (eg Gmail). If I'm on my home screen, the regular phone dialer window comes up instead of the notification window. I'm thinking it might be because of fullscreen app, but I haven't had a chance to test it after uninstalling the app yet.
Anyone else have this issue?
Try disabling incoming call pop-up in phone settings.

Awesome. Thanks!

Remove green suggestion in settings

Every time that I enter the settings with my data off and in some other cases, on the top of the settings appear some green badges with some "advices". Do you know if it's possible to deactivate them? Is there a way to turn them off in the settings or something?
Up
Swipe them away enough and they stop showing up... I haven't seen a "settings suggestion" for months. I don't think there is a setting for it.

Notification Bar Issue

Does anyone else have this issue with the 6T where you go to dismiss a notification and swipe it left or right and then the notification settings pop up in the task bar because it thinks you're long pressing it? It's extremely ANNOYing and I've been trying to figure out how to turn it off or get rid of it. Let me know if there is a solution! :crying:

No that's your phones way of being smart and recognizing which notifications you usually swipe away, so it's trying to ask you if you want to stop notifications for that particular app to try and alleviate the constant need for you to dismiss them. Just click keep showing unless you don't want to see them.
