Time to update my WM6 emulators... Thanks for this!

New PIE

Anyone looking into pulling the new PIE out of the new WM 6.1 emulator images that were just released as well as getting the Messenger files out of it? I miss having actual Live Messenger after getting the most current Live for Mobile version.

what do you mean windows messanger.. ? you can download the newest version from microsoft at all times.
the pie sucks and is not anything to want.
the only difference it has is java 7.5 support in desktop mode. Its slow. and microsoft is gay about it and says a phone like the diamond and touch pro isnt good enough for this browser. so **** it. use opera mobile 8.65 opera mini or skyfire over ie.
IE is old and gay. untill PIE7 or PIE 6.5 comes out .. theres no need for it.

you cannot download the mobile version of messenger, and all current versions of live for mobile don't include it.

[Question] 6.5 CHome/Titanium in Windows Mobile Emulator?

Hey,
Is there any way of getting the CHome/Titanium (home widget) from windows Mobile 6.5 on Windows Mobile Device Emulator? Is there a cab or something?
I tried creating a Windows Mobile 6.5 Image for the Device Emulator using SamuelTee's samWMEmuKitchen but kept getting all sorts of errors ...
Any ideas?
I don't think so. However, Windows Mobile 6.5 is supposed to be officially released on May 11th, and msmobiles.com (great windows mobile news site, reliable too) seems to think that means device emulators running 6.5 on May 11th. It's not that long of a wait, but if you can get 6.5 running in an emulator yourself, more power to you.

Wikitude, Layar or other AR

This HD2 looks like a very interesting phone to me. One question keeps coming back and I can't find a real answer to it....What about android/iphone AR programs like wikitude or layar. Are they soon going to be implemented for windows mobile also or do we have to wait till windows mobile 7? Because it would be an even more interesting device to me if I knew there was some AR material showing on the horizon for winmo 6.5. Who knows?

Google has released a new version of its free mapping app for smartphones running Windows Mobile and Symbian. Google Maps for Mobile 3.3 lets users keep the starred places on their phone and on their computer synchronized.
This app has let mobile users put a star on places they want to remember almost since its inception, and this feature was added to the desktop version a few months ago. With version 3.3, these are kept synced.
