Hi,
There is a connector for Car's antenna and for GPS antenna. Ok, for the GPS, I know what it is, but for the Car's antenna, is for the TMC ? (Trafic information ?)
If it's exact, what is the com port for use it please ?
Thank a lot
No, its for the Mobile phone radio, and the Built-in Anttena some cars have.
There is no TMC (Or FM) Radio Function in the x7500
Ok, thanks a lot
greetings,
I believe the atom has some built-in GPS function. but how do I use it? do I need to buy some bluetooth GPS adaptor or something? if so, what have you used that worked pretty well?
thank you in advance!

Atom don't have built-in GPS function, you have to get a external BT GPS receiver eg holux GPS Bluetooth Receiver plus map software.

You should buy a gps receiver, gps menu in your device just to help you find which COM did you connect the gps to,.
need a bluetooth connection to connect your device then,.
i am using garmin 10x, and it works very well with my atom,.
I have used and recommend iblue GPS, works very well and battery life is extrodinary.
Garmin
I used Garmin BT10x w/ mobilext works fine too...
Is it possible to connect a wired GPS to the Magician? If so, which connection does it use? (MCX / MMCX / SMA ..)

It is not possible, I tried it with a wired GPS receiver but it refused to work. Then I bought a Bluetooth GPS receiver on Ebay and it works perfectly, it is even faster than my Mio GPS unit.
Ok
I hoped that would work because I found these GPS receivers:
PG-174 Digital GPS Antenna $8.31 (free shipping! around the world)
Digital GPS Antenna (1575Mhz F-Cable) $7.50 (free shipping! around the world)
Markos, these are not GPS receivers.
They are external antennas and are used to improve the signal of a receiver that, supposedly, you already have.
I use a bluetooth receiver (external) for tomtom, mobile maps(sygicmobile) and google maps, but i can not get the external bluetooth gps receiver to work with the application tracker.nl (dutch tracking software)
On the internal gps receiver on my HTY clone it works but the fix is verry slow.
Annyone already have a solution ??
