N1 link, but on Topaz with Stock WM 6.5 and Manila 2.1 it doesn`t work at all
I don`t want to flash an cooked ROM, just using Stock ROM
Do somebody know something like "4ColumnsStart&AllPrograms_v1.1" for Manila 2.1
or a program which I can use to "tweak" it??

Hi dear forum members.
I have been gone from the forum a while, and it seems that I have missed alot, have tried to read alot and it seems that there is a new manila from a new device or something, and its called manila 2 "landscape"
Where can I find that cab? and whats new in it?
And about WM 6.5 is it out yet? I read that itje (the man!) is currently using it or developing, did not understand really.

Whats new... hm... actually the landscape mode and some improvements like built-in calender, contact editor and some things like time editing have been integrated... I´m talking about tf3d2 in the touch-it 4.0 ROM. So i dont know exactly if all stuff i have is include in the .cab.

I have dutty 2.1 extreme rom, and can't get the stock tabs in 3d like on pic. its only list of stocks.
Can someone tell me how to do this?

the stock list is part of the new TF3D I think, and if you wanna go back to the old one you'd have to find a ROM that has an older TF3D stock app..
i actually prefer the new one that comes with Dutty 1.8+,....
ok, so it's the new one I thougt that it's yust to change the look of stock.
but the old have a 3d options this one not.

Strange that they decided to take the 3D view out of the new manilla, as it would be complete with it.
Hey guys, i have used the search but for some reason when i press the submit to complete the search i get a Page cannot be displayed message, not sure if its my computer or not, so sorry if this has already been covered
i have a TG01 and a Touch HD, i was wondering if anyone has the Manila TF3D 2.5 for download as a cab so i can install it on the TG01 because i love TF3D but the manila thats floating around here with the download cab is a very old version of the TouchFlo so i was wondering if anyone has the 2.5 in a cab so i can install it on my wonderful TG01 to make it look as nice as the Touch HD

Well I have the TP2 and have seen it posted there that 2.5 has to be built into the rom, probably the same for your device.

well where the h*** did you get one of those?
i have not seen a 2.5 cab, so yes it does need to be cooked in... however, if you're resourceful, you can use tools here to dump your ROM (there should be a flash util from toshiba if your OS is wiped from doing any of this.)
after the dump, disassemble the rom with one of the kitchens here... now the files should be in order but you're going to have a hard time building and flashing out of that with HTC oriented tools... im sure others have much better ideas how to recompile it.
if you can disassemble, build (no modifications), and flash, then really try to get your hands wet making a rom (ex. just cooking in manila 2.5 or even start with something simple like add some OEM packages) and start flashing til you like it! yes, it's not for those without time, but like you said there's no roms for the TG01 so you can pioneer it!
if your interested in messing around with this, im sure that i and the other xda members would be happy to chat offline to help you get it working... if you got one, then there's surely more to come...
btw... for a sick interface, just load up SPB mobile shell with the Revolution theme... a lot like the Sense UI, it's still pretty sweet

Ideally I would like the transparent clock w/ weather found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=589181
I have tried that one as well as Matt's Crystal Clock. Can't get either to work - my clock does not change (even after soft reset).
I am thinking (but hoping not) it has something to do with my (and sorry I am new to this) windows version and/or manila version and/or TF3D version ???
I have WM6.1, TF3D 2.1.38420.2, and I am sad to say I don't even know how to check what manila I have...
Any help is greatly appreciated!

OK, well then I have manila 2.1 correct ??? And from what I have read, manila 2.1 is identifiable from having weather on the HOME screen ???
But I have never had weather on the home tab and have not had any luck getting it to work...any ideas ???

If it is a regluar TP2 (unbranded), go to HTC.com and download the WM 6.5 ROM and install it on your phone. That gives you WM 6.5 and a Sense 2.1 (which has the weather clock).
Just make sure you backup your contacts and other info you might need, because it's like formatting a PC - everything gets deleted. It's worth it though and shouldn't take more than 15 mins to do. Then you get your weather clock AND the Crystal Clock CAB will work ;-)

Hey, thanks a lot. I do not have an unbranded one however, I have Verizon. I checked HTC.com and it says wm6.5 for Verizon will be available in Dec/Jan.
I am assuming I should wait for that or would it be "safe" to download the unbranded one ???

Well you could try to find an unofficial ROM here on the forums that might work, but I must admit I haven't tried out any of them myself. Personally I'd just wait the few weeks until the official version was released, but it's up to you
Downloading an unbranded one from HTC.com won't work, however. There is more to it than that - check out the Rhodium ROM forums for more info. Good luck anyway

Found it Here on PPCgeeks so many of them. Looks VERY nice !!!

i would think that however it is generated, it starts with .png files doesnt it ???

I am looking for a radar weathe program that will show the local radar image and work off an slide task bar on the home screen so I can move it next to the weather icon...I know about this one :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=548023 but cant get it to work correctly, I get weather but no radar and it causes a few other issues like manila errors and causes my weather and stocks to stop updating. So I uninstalled it. Looking for any others that are similar.

I know this is a bit off-topic, but the Tilt2 stock ROM has Manila 2.1.19183217.0 -- how did you get Manila 2.5 without burning a different ROM? I had thought that to be impossible!

If you go to the Settings tab, then scroll to the bottom, to the About line, you'll see the version (it is my understanding that TouchFLO 3D and Manila are the same -- i've seen posts that claim as much, but i've also seen posts that claim they are different).
ok, touchflow is 2.1 ...crap, i dont want to have to reflash my ROM....I like the stock look and would just want to get rid of some of the bloatware (trial crap)

Give CrudScraper a try...it's built just to clean bloatware from the Tilt2
I used it but I still have a few I want to remove like my-cast and wiki mobile in the apps tab.
