Does anyone have it for the TP2? Ive looked everywhere and found nothing! Please someone got to have it.....
Btw if anyones wondering why I need it, its because Im using a lite which does not have it.

Here you go, see if this works View attachment HTC_QuickGPS.CAB
But, whether or not it works...I would recommend you try SeaSGEE View attachment SeaSGEE.zip
It is exactly like QuickGPS, but some say it has better results, and to be honest I have to agree. Results may be different for everyone though so see what you think. Just unzip and copy the .exe to the windows/programs folder (or whether you keep your GPS programs). You will see just how similar they are!

Hi All,
Since upgrading my XDA Exec to the latest ROM I now don't have the nice little today plugin for the battery montoring. I liked the old one as the new one on the top bar does not show enough info and having to click on it to see what percentage is left is a pain!!
So I dug out the old O2 UI CAB and removed all the stuff except the battery monitor from the CAB file and I have attached it here for anyone else who wants it. I think this should work on other ROMs as I can't see anything specific to O2 in here. Would love to hear from anyone who can run it on Qtek, Imate, Dopod etc?

Ah, hadn't searched the forum.. Oops. Nice work you have done on it though.
I had the same problem with the missing icon and the little dots. This is due to the fact the code itself is trying to put something there so to remove it is not so easy unless you had the source.
Maybe one day I will get around to writing my own based on the look of this one. Just not enough hours in the day right now!!

Out of interest, I noticed your file is over 200K. Did you keep the original SETUP.DLL file from the original O2 CAB?
I junked this because it kept coming up with the options screen and I had to choose Corporate to bypass this. I used a SETUP.DLL file from another CAB which is much smaller.

The same way you install any cab.
Copy it onto your device, browse to it with File Explorer and tap it. Accept the security warning and choose where you want it installed to.

Not able to find this littel fella, not in HTCICON.dll not in shellres.dll Anyone know where its hiding? The one in HTCICON.dll does not look like the one I am using out of the box so changing that wount help me. If you got a good tip or a workaround for changing the Today icon on start meny I would be wery intrested to hear about it, cant complete my icon set before I find this last fella.
Using a Tytn II running WM6.1 if thats needed info for some reason.
Edit: I noticed that its the same used in Settings->Personal Today (obiouse) so going to dig from there. If anyone finds this before me please letme know.

try using total commander or resco explorer to see hidden files/rom files.
still no luck. I downloaded resco explorer(which is awesome!) but I still cant find it. any more ideas from all you gurus out there?? It is an alltel touch not a sprint vogue if that makes any difference. thx guys!

Make sure you have Resco set to show all files. welcomehead.96.png is the file your looking for, on all devices I believe.
If you still can't find it, use a photo viewer, like S2V, and load the windows directory. Then you can browse through and find it visually.
you guys were right it was hidden. I just didnt see the option to show hidden files. but now it says this is a ROM file and cant be changed or deleted. is there anything I can do?
drop the new file (of the same name) in the windows dir. when it asks to overwrite, hit yes. that should work with resco. another [more complicated and dangerous] way is to unlock the extended rom.

You are looking for s2u2 (Slide to Unlock 2). You can download it here: http://s2u2.ac-s2.com/. Just download the QVGA version, unzip the ZIP file, and then move the CAB to your device and run it to install. Hope this helps.

I think the point is moot now. He has his answer and he knows that he should have searched.
why stock
You gotta trick out your phone now that you got it. It will take time to figure out. If ur using the std today screen you gotta start there. Try the new spb mobile shell 3 for free for 15 days then try some of the other themes out there. For S2U2 you need to be sure to get 2.04 cause the prior betas are buggy and will cause you fits. get s2p from A_C also it combines nicely with s2u2 and is a nice media player.

I ask you because after install LEOALBUM i can't see Videos on my phone...
The Album crashed...
Well I installed it last night but it broke my Album. While in TF3D, the pictures scroll very slowly and when you open a picture up you can't get the menu portion and the pictures won't scroll at all.

it has to do with policy 101a in the reg, i think. just search for it you sholuld be able to find a cab somewhere but since others are having problems i would not install it unless your ready to do a hard reset.

You need to have Internet Sharing in the ROM in order for this to work...
Router - Error
When attempting to open the Comm Manager after installing this Wifi Router App, I get the message "Comm Manger doesn't support 'MobileWifiRouter.'"
I had this on my TP, and it came in very handy, would love to get this on my TP2.

Hi, i am using Sprint TP2. been searching for this app for a while. The tom codon didn't work. But i this one is worknig for me. After installing you'll find new folder called "COMMUNICATION" under start menu. this app placed under this folder.
I hope i can help some noob like me that have been searching for this cool app for a while, with my info
