02 Battery Monitor

Hi All,
Since upgrading my XDA Exec to the latest ROM I now don't have the nice little today plugin for the battery montoring. I liked the old one as the new one on the top bar does not show enough info and having to click on it to see what percentage is left is a pain!!
So I dug out the old O2 UI CAB and removed all the stuff except the battery monitor from the CAB file and I have attached it here for anyone else who wants it. I think this should work on other ROMs as I can't see anything specific to O2 in here. Would love to hear from anyone who can run it on Qtek, Imate, Dopod etc?

Ah, hadn't searched the forum.. Oops. Nice work you have done on it though.
I had the same problem with the missing icon and the little dots. This is due to the fact the code itself is trying to put something there so to remove it is not so easy unless you had the source.
Maybe one day I will get around to writing my own based on the look of this one. Just not enough hours in the day right now!!

Out of interest, I noticed your file is over 200K. Did you keep the original SETUP.DLL file from the original O2 CAB?
I junked this because it kept coming up with the options screen and I had to choose Corporate to bypass this. I used a SETUP.DLL file from another CAB which is much smaller.

The same way you install any cab.
Copy it onto your device, browse to it with File Explorer and tap it. Accept the security warning and choose where you want it installed to.

wm 6.1 pro

hey guys im still kind of new to this stuff. but right now i have windows 6.1 on my wing and its nice. but i seen a video on youtube with a wing that had 6.1 pro and it was AWESOME so i would like to know is there anywhere i can go and get that? oh yea and by chance can i ever downgrade back to the reg windows that came with the phone? and if i can do i just go to tmobile.com/wmupgrade ans starr from there?

What you have is already a PRO version as it is meant for all touch screen pocket pc device. Maybe you saw a different GUI effects which may be like TouchFLO 2D or so. If you can give a link to the YouTube video, we shall give you the suggestions.

That is not a "version" of or an iphone theme. It's just a ROM that has a lot of things put together to look like that. Looks like they have the old HTCHome with a skin on it, a Windows Mobile skin and S2U2 with a skin. It looks like an older ROM, actually, but I like the red theming. I don't know what ROM it is exactly, though. Oh, and that menu system is a somewhat buggy software... I forgot what it's called. It's hacked from an italian phone, I believe...

I do also Ivan ,thanks for that non useful paragraph. but can ANYBODY ELSE HELP ME????? im trying to see if i can get wm 6.1 pro or is that not released or something? as far for the themes when i download then and save them they never show up under my themes. could it be that im doing it wrong? i have aserg 6.1? do this ROM not let me use other themes?

1. You're rude.
2. It is not WM6.1Pro. Did you at all read what I wrote? 6.1 was never officially released for this phone, we (yes, I and others) ported it to this phone.
3. If you're not seeing them, you ARE doing it wrong.
Seriously, dude. I take my time to try to help some and you try to bite at the hand that feeds you. I could have done what everyone else does and said, " Search, noob!" Because truthfully, the answers ARE there if you bothered searching for the right things.
I even TOLD you what programs are being used, btw. That's about as much help as you could ask for.
It's not a THEME only, it's a SERIES of program. Let's quote me:

Now, if you searched for HTCHome you'd get the program called: HTCHome. If you searched S2U2, you'd get the program called: S2U2.

When i first got my diamond it was in the first lot of things i installed.
Also couldnt control it so it got uninstalled

There was a .cfg file uploaded by someone to make proper use of the Diamond buttons. Maybe give it a search in the Diam subforums? Also, next time search before opening a new topic, just some advice.

there is a thread running in the ELF section that speaks about how to go about configuring the .cfg file. IM way too lazy to search it though.

Here is your dream : Vol- to jump and Vol+ to backflip
Just unzip and put the file in the install dir

Here you go - It's working on my Diamond perfectly. Shoot with the main button. You can jump with vol+ and of course directions are set on d-pad

How do you install an .exe file on the diamond? I have only been able to install .cab files?

Install it on PC while phone is connected with Active Sync!

Sorry Im new here, i installed the game and as far as i see it seems you know how to play this game i feel stupid asking this, how do you aim up and down and move right or left? im dowloaded the zip and all i need, and the other habilites it has works perfectly the back flip jump and that, but it seems i miss amiming and changing direction

I want one for my HTC touch pocket pc.

could do with a new download link for a working copy of worms and a quick guide on how to install and get working along with that other file also

Left bottom part of the screen above the timer there should be a MENU titled button. Click on it, than on Quit.

I installed it on my Diamond's internal memory...not on the Program Files on the main memory. Could this be it??

i don't use manila so im not sure but i think it should work fine

I ask you because after install LEOALBUM i can't see Videos on my phone...
The Album crashed...

Well I installed it last night but it broke my Album. While in TF3D, the pictures scroll very slowly and when you open a picture up you can't get the menu portion and the pictures won't scroll at all.

it has to do with policy 101a in the reg, i think. just search for it you sholuld be able to find a cab somewhere but since others are having problems i would not install it unless your ready to do a hard reset.

You need to have Internet Sharing in the ROM in order for this to work...

Router - Error
When attempting to open the Comm Manager after installing this Wifi Router App, I get the message "Comm Manger doesn't support 'MobileWifiRouter.'"
I had this on my TP, and it came in very handy, would love to get this on my TP2.

Hi, i am using Sprint TP2. been searching for this app for a while. The tom codon didn't work. But i this one is worknig for me. After installing you'll find new folder called "COMMUNICATION" under start menu. this app placed under this folder.

HD2: Can the lock slider change to bottom?

For a start, there is a way to turn off the default lock screen if you're using S2U2
Tip 27 from the Hints and Tips thread (I strongly suggest you read it all)
Tip 27. Disable Auto Screen Lock
If you use S2U2, you would have hated the double lock annoyance. Now you can turn off default Auto Screen Lock.
Go to HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd and change DeviceLockWhenSuspend to 0, or use the following cab:

Second, you don't need to use a 3rd party app, you can just run the HeartOfWolf Lockscreen mod in my signature and it'll move the slider to the bottom of the screen for you. I have no idea why they put it at the top?

Can you explain a bit about this one rather than just post the cab please

You can try the HD2 Mini lockscreen cab..it's quite good, just don't use the PIN unlock.
It's slide down to unlock and it tells you any missed calls, SMS, emails etc...i quite like it actually..

At the bottom, the OP posted a modified 480x800 cpr file to do want you want. All you need to do is change the extension from .txt to .cpr, open file explorer and put it in the Windows\Lockscreen file and soft reset.

Also, if you are using the HeartofWolf Mod and would prefer to have the original larger slider size instead of the small skinny one, I've made a few modifications to his LS_LockScene_480x800 and attached it below. All you need to do is change the file extension from .txt to .cpr and install it into your windows\lockscreen file, soft reset and you're good to go. Of course, please back up the original LS_LockScene_480x800 before installing this one, just in case you would like to revert back to the small slider. And of course all credits to HeartofWolf, I just made a couple of changes to his work.

Another nice solution is DJ Pete's locksreen. It's a simple modification of the windows lockscreen with manila clock, calendar appointments and slider variations. You can find it at pocketpc.ch in the thread

i installed this, didnt like it so i uninstalled it. but now the sense lock screen doesnt come back, the original windows one has appeared. any ideas?

this is soooo annoying and i swear if i have to do another hard reset i wont be happy!!!

i dont want any of that rubbish about size/memory you have a HD2 it can hack it! live the dream!

Kandekied, to get you started, go into your windows directory inside file explorer and open the lockscreen folder. Next, copy the file LS_LockScene_480x800 somewhere onto your PC and open it using notepad. That particular file is for Portrait. If you want to modify landscape also, then copy LS_Lockscene_800x480. With the file open on your PC in notepad, you are now ready to begin modifying. The particulars of what you want to do would take alot of space on this post to describe, but to get you pointed in the right direction, I've copied a few threads for you to look at that will help you get started.

You see, this is why I asked for more information about this in the first place. I never install a cab that I've not read about first and that people have tested a bit. You should always link to the thread a cab came from, not just the cab.
Also, chill out. You installed a cab from a random thread and it wasn't what you wanted. If you have to hard reset it's your problem not ours.
If people don't reply to a post it's because they either don't want to or don't know. There is no point in wetting your panties and posting multiple times. It's more likely just to p!ss everyone off and make them not reply.
