anybody having problems with the playback speed of .mp3 and .wav files? for some reason, on my sister's MDA, the playback speed of the audio files speeds up (like chipmunk speed).
I did a soft reset and that fixed the problem temporarily. But today, her phone rang and the ring tone was playing at chipmunk speed. I tried playing the audio files in Windows Media Player and GSPlayer and the speed was still fast in both programs.
any ideas or suggestions?
I had a similar problem after upgarding my 8125 to 2.17, I searched for audio problems on this forum and I came up with this... http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=46000&highlight=sound+fix
mine works fine now, and I haven't run into the same problem again, at least not yet.
I have the Softbank X01HT and I am trying to get my bluetoot headset working.
I have the i-PHONO PLUS BT450Rx Bluetooth Stereo Headphones.
It skips a little, and I think it may be because of how much it lags the PPC.
As soon as music is playing in media player through the bluetooth the ppc suffers heavy lag if I try doing anything else the music will highly skip and you can tell everything is very slow.
If i stop the audio from playing by clicking pause the lag is gone. I don't remember my old Cingular 8125 lagging this bad when bluetooth was playing, and that had half this processor, so I'm guessing something is wrong?
Has anyone else had this problem?
I would appreciate help,
Thanks
yeah it lags abit when the A2DP is on.
Well I just installed the a2dp cab fix I found on these forums and It seemed to help alot and I think it even fixed my skipping problem!
Can't say for sure yet have only tested for about 15 minutes, but it was skipping every 15 seconds or so before now no skipping at all.
My media player dosent skip now which is good.
But still my skype skips if I try using the headset with skype.
I'm guessing because skype takes more resources than media player.
Have you had any luck using a bluetooth headset with skype marktang?
no lol i have never used skype yet. and for the skipping problem i never had that. the only problem i have is that when im using stereo bluetooth the phone will lag abit.
Well I'm pretty sure that A2DP cab fixed the skipping on media player.
But I really want to use the headset for skype too, but I think because a2dp takes up resources and skype takes a lot of resources it is laggy.
Do you know of any way to free up resources? What programs I can close or something, or is there a way yet to overclock the cpu on the X01HT?
Looking to route the sound coming from video files through bluetooth, i have sound from music going through just fine, but i can have it playing music then open a video file in the same program and it'll stop playing through the headphones and play through the speaker, the program i use doesn't matter, does this for everything, i've searched the forums and just the internet in general on a way to get this working and all i can find it things on how to route music, does anyone know a way to get this working? thank you
Been awhile, does anyone have any ideas on this?
Just use TCPMP (freeware media player). I'm watching Red Dwarf with it and the audio's going right to my bluetooth headphones. You'll want to get the codec pack so it'll be able to play many more formats than it already can.
I had problems with skipping when watching videos in tcpmp while using a2dp. I tried coreplayer, and it worked perfectly - well worth splashing out for!
I'll give it a try tonight, not sure if i tried that one yet or not, thanks for the suggestion
Yeah same situation, i have no idea why why it refuses to run sound from video through bluetooth, when music will work fine
did you do anything special to get this working, or was it just working already?
I didnt do anything special. I'm using sony DR-BT30Q headphones, and I just paired them, press play on the headphones to activate the a2dp service, and the headphone symbol appears on the screen. Its all operational from that point.

Nuts, what happens on mine is i'll set it up to play through the headphones, sometimes play a song or something to verify the sound is going through the headphones, then i'll load up a video, and there will be a click in my headphones and then sound starts coming through the phone speaker, and for everything until i pair them up again.
maybe i need to get some new headphones or something!
Is it possible its just a problem with my rom?
i use pdacorner version..6 i think due to my crazy battery drain problems with any newer ones than that, maybe i'll try swapping out a new rom and see if it helps at all, honestly have never tried it.
I have never had any problem on any rom, and have tried about 5 or 6 over the last year. At the moment I am very happy with crc's stable roms, and have no a2dp problems with it.
I am not really sure where this question goes or where my problem lies, but here is the gist of things. I am an avid audible listener (audio books) and I don't use my phone for music. Oftentimes when I get in my car (ford sync system) it will start audible and resume playback of my audio book. Other times, it will start the default music player, which I don't even have any music loaded on the phone and don't use the player. Is there a way to disable the music player without effecting the rest of the phone's capabilities, or to make it to where it will always default to the Audible player? Also, sometimes when i get in the car, it will start the audible player, but I get no audio until I disable Bluetooth and re-enable it. I have recently installed fission rom but the problem was the same with the stock rom.
Droid 2 Andriod 2.2.1 using Fission_2.5.7_BE_DROID2
Bluetooth is a 2010 Ford w/ sync system
Any Help?
Ok, since no one here seems to have an answer, any suggestions on where else I could post this question?

In the Fission thread as it could be a ROM issue. I had some trouble with audio with my stereo bluetooth headset but I thought it was just the headset because it's two years old.
I do not know if it's a bug, but since beta 5 of pecan cm 11 can not play music in my headphones through bluetooth (all functions seem to work good, including file transfer).
My phone normally connects to the car but I can only run a maximum of two tracks .. immediately after the player gets to spend the songs quickly or have FC..
I know the problem is not in the headphones because I connect any other device normally it..
Have formatted the system and tried to clean install but it still fails.
Do not know if it's just me, but I have this problem since beta 5 if I'm not mistaken..
