[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand]
"LaunchAPEnable"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand]
"VoiceCmdDuration"=dword:99999
or use this cab, its the same!!
rom is the latest official wm6. how i check radio? oh cool, i'll try out that cab dude, and post here the results
not working bro. shudnt my pda restart after installing that cab? i installed in main memory, and i'm now using my headphones. still got the problem. your registry tweaked the voice commander, my problem is with the bluetooth. 0_o
as in, i listen to music using my bluetooth headset, i hear
EXAMPLE: BONJOVI'S ITS MY LIFE
Its my ..(no sound suddenly).........Now and never, i aint gonna live forever!
the sound is lost but the music is still playing
Getting the same problem with iTech R35 bluetooth stereo headphones and offical Dopod WM6 upgrade (ROM 3.00.707.17 / Radio 1.46.00.11).
The headphones were working fine for the last 6 months with decent sound quality after pairing. Ever since I upgraded to WM6, either the headphones or the phone are dropping the BT connection after random intervals of between 5 minutes - 30 minutes. i.e. the sound suddenly cuts off even though the PDA is still playing music and everything seems to still be connected ( the BT icon is still displayed in the taskbar). If I re-pair again, it comes back for a short while, but then always cuts off again
This is the exact same problem I have with my R35 and WM6. I have figured out a way to make it cut out on a song (a different format wma). if i just play mp3s it will start to skip and then cut out completely after a random time. So I think its WMP I tried different radios and it still doesn't work....
help us anyone!
I posted a thread but no one was able to help...

I don't think it's a WMP problem, since I generally don't use that app. It's dropping for me with Resco Pocket Radio and CorePlayer.
Getting fed up with Dopod firmware. First, it was the 'no-bass' problem with the previous ROM. Now, it's this problem...! Can't they just release firmware without MAJOR bugs in it?!
I don't want to suggest this but do you think it has something to do with the itech clips?
when i use my BT stereo headset (plantronics pulsar 260) the music stopped sometimes, like described above.
when i disconnect my headset, the music plays normally over the phone speaker. no problem at all.
i guess its just another bluetooth problem.
when my phone is in my right pocket, and the receiver of my BT-set is in my left pocket, my body is between them, it gives the same problem( i am on my ATB at the time, moving)
very strange.....and no, i dont have any metal in my body. ;-)
Hi,
I'm using Touch 1.2 U-Clip and I have the exact same problem. So it's not just with i-Tech. I hope someone will find a solution for this problem.
Think its the Bluetooth stack
I am having the exact same frustrating problem - after checking to see if it was a Dopod error (tried closing down everything else on the PPC, tried other wired headsets), I have come to the conclusion it is something in WM6 Bluetooth, as I did not have this problem in the previous WM5 on the same machine with the smae Blueant Stereo headphones - mind you with WM6, I have full function with the Media Player, that is I can pause, next track, etc, whereas I couldnt do this with the WM5 version. WM5 had a really annoying high pitched whine, otherwise worked a treat.
So, in short WM6 has fixed the whine, has brought full features to the headset, but skips (blanks) the songs. Just before each "blank" I have noticed that it sounds like the song slows up - much like an old tape player running our of battery.
Now, I have no idea how/where/who to fix this, so anybody with even half a clue, please let all of us know, this is getting quite maddening!

bump for the thread. and yea man, i have the same prob. its like a battery dead sound, as the song goes out of tune etc
a slightly different problem
i use the INDIGO LITE rom, and i use OMIZ 5110 stereo headset, and i dont have the skiping problems described here, however since upgrading to WM6 the sound quality is terrible, i feel like tori amos is singing in my bathroom (which if was true could be really great) but alas, its just crappy sound quality... i tried changing the registry BITPOOL to 58 and played with all the values there known to man (at least to THIS man) but nothing helps...
Going by the devices that have this 'dropping sound' problem, it seems to only be affecting A2DP stereo bluetooth headsets paired with WM6 Trinity devices. Or are regular bluetooth mono headsets affected as well?
Personally havent paired a mono headset, but the problem I am having is definitely a stereo one! Any solution as opposed to taking to the machine with an axe?
Anyone found a solution yet?????? Please!!!!
I am also having the same sound dropping problems.
I have the same problem as well. I have just upgraded my rom to official WM6 rom. I'm using iTech Clip Radio.
Looking to route the sound coming from video files through bluetooth, i have sound from music going through just fine, but i can have it playing music then open a video file in the same program and it'll stop playing through the headphones and play through the speaker, the program i use doesn't matter, does this for everything, i've searched the forums and just the internet in general on a way to get this working and all i can find it things on how to route music, does anyone know a way to get this working? thank you
Been awhile, does anyone have any ideas on this?
Just use TCPMP (freeware media player). I'm watching Red Dwarf with it and the audio's going right to my bluetooth headphones. You'll want to get the codec pack so it'll be able to play many more formats than it already can.
I had problems with skipping when watching videos in tcpmp while using a2dp. I tried coreplayer, and it worked perfectly - well worth splashing out for!
I'll give it a try tonight, not sure if i tried that one yet or not, thanks for the suggestion
Yeah same situation, i have no idea why why it refuses to run sound from video through bluetooth, when music will work fine
did you do anything special to get this working, or was it just working already?
I didnt do anything special. I'm using sony DR-BT30Q headphones, and I just paired them, press play on the headphones to activate the a2dp service, and the headphone symbol appears on the screen. Its all operational from that point.

Nuts, what happens on mine is i'll set it up to play through the headphones, sometimes play a song or something to verify the sound is going through the headphones, then i'll load up a video, and there will be a click in my headphones and then sound starts coming through the phone speaker, and for everything until i pair them up again.
maybe i need to get some new headphones or something!
Is it possible its just a problem with my rom?
i use pdacorner version..6 i think due to my crazy battery drain problems with any newer ones than that, maybe i'll try swapping out a new rom and see if it helps at all, honestly have never tried it.
I have never had any problem on any rom, and have tried about 5 or 6 over the last year. At the moment I am very happy with crc's stable roms, and have no a2dp problems with it.
I have a x7500 and using Bluetooth Receiver setup with headphones and headset for phone. Good news is that all of this actually works pretty well overall. Bad news is that my MP3 music players restart automatically after I receive a phone call upon the ending of the phone call I can tell Pocket Player not to restart after the phone call and this works. However, iPlay still wants to start no matter what! Is there any way to tell the audio gateway or A2DP or ???.....NOT to restart music after a phone call ends.
I would appreciate any help on this. I have been searching forums and looking at registry entries but no success in stopping the restarting of music players so far.
that is a software compatibility issue
i have no problem listinging or watching movies via AD2P
when phone comes in, it pauses, and goes to Phone mode
when i finish talking, and hang up
it switches back to Music / Movie mode in AD2P
no restart no issues at all
using CorePlayer
i got 3 different headsets
Jabra BT8010
Moto HT820
Sony DS970
they all work perfectly
my guess is the Pocket Player you are using?
try another Audio Player software
Yes. I agree. It is a compatability issue but sometimes there are still options to exert control. So Pocket Player has option to restart after phone call but iPlay does not. Thus Pocket Player offers pretty good control in this area. However, it just so happens that iPlay has some very, very high end features that I really like but just does not have the phone handling at this time with the version that I have (although plays fine thru Bluetooth). I am hoping there might be some registry setting to tell A2DP not to try to restart music after a phone call.
Anyone ever heard of the ability to do this?
doesn't have to be a software issue. I have the same problem but with Touch Flo 3D skin. It starts playing music after the call, even if before the call I wasn't listening to the music I've tried to disable the Touch Flo 3D, but then the standard Media Player starts after the call . I have to remember to turn off the music after every call - it's driving me crazy!!
I don't know if this is the right section but.............
I have a bluetooth earpiece paired with my device (elfin) wich works great for calls but i would also hear music with it but can only get it to work with a stereo one. Is there any way to get music through my "mono" bt headset???
It is impossible for me to use a stereo headset so i would like some help from you all.......
Thanks
Well it seems that i'm the only one having this problem since 30 of you have seen this post but untill now no answers............. i'll wait a bit more

well you can use music over bt software.. do a googling nd u can find the same....
Thanks, found something will try it out
alright
The way I solved the same problem was by installing Conduits Pocket Player. I installed to my card, just to save space, but can be installed to the device, not too hungry memory-wise. It is actually a very nice player overall with finger scrolling and full selection and browsing features. I use it instead of WMP and wish someone would integrate it into a ROM and remove the blasted WMP altogether. It has an option of sending your music to your bluetooth mono headset. In fact, I installed it on all of my WM devices for that very purpose.
But the question I have is whether someone knows of Java software that will send music to a mono bluetooth set on my LG Prada. Or... a working java mp3 player with the same function. Anyone?
works great, best solution so far thank you very much
Glad to be of assistance
I have the problem that I can listen to music with my A2DP BT Headset (Philips SHB9001), but if I start Youtube, a game or the internal video player the phone fails and plays the sound over the speaker.
Is there any posibility to "hack" the phone (or something like that) in order to get that working?
I deeply hope that one of you a solution
look here
You made my day ...did't find that. Guess I searched with the wrong search terms. THANK YOU! I'll try it asap
this is useful for me too thanks
a bit buggy
FYI: Playing YouTube videos it's a bit buggy (BT Headset makes some kind of squeaky sound, it's stuttering ... don't know how discribe it better), guess that's why MS disabled it by default.
But I'am happy to have it . If someone knows this bug, and even better how to fix it, I would be glad to know .
Maybe it's wifi that is interfering with bluetooth. At least I have the same behavior on HD2 with wifi on.
