App to play .sdp audio streams - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

Hey, just switched from BB Bold to TP2 and noticed that my ability to stream audio from w.moodio.fm is now gone. Searching around I have found that people have had some success using HTC Streaming Media, but I have tried unsuccesfully to install that app.
Tells me "The file 'streamingplayer' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists try reinstalling or restoring this file."
Any ideas how to access Moodio.fm streams?
Any help is greatly appreciated

Wizard not playing midi files anymore....Help????

Hey guys and galls...
I've got a strange problem with my wizard..
I've got some mid files selected as ringtoned for some contacts..
Now all of a sudden since 2 days, my Wizard (WM5.0) stopped playing them..
If I select a mid file in Windows Media Player Mobile 10, it just says:
"The source filter for this file could not be loaded"
Does anybody now what the problem is?
It looks like some kind of plugin is gone missing..
It's really a bummer, since I got lots of people assigned to different Midi files as ringtones..
If I copy the midi files to normal pc, they play properly, so the files aren't corrupted...
The files also show up in the contact section where you can selct the ringtone, they just don't play anymore...
I did a search here, and on google, but if you type in mid, or midi not playing, you just get so much results, and I can't seem to find an answer
Can someone help me fix this problem please???
Pretty please with cherry's on top??
Thank you for your effort!!!
Filter??
It looks like I'm missing some kind of a midi plugin, or filter..
It seems that one midi is playing, although it is pretty distorted..
Does anyone have this filter or plugin for me??
Please help me out here...
Thanks.....
I'm having the same problem with the same equipment. Still using the factory ROM of WM5 as well. Been digging quite a bit and haven't found anything about it yet.
One thing that I found between us that is different is that mine does play the files in WMP. It still will not play them in the ringtones for the individual contacts though. Weird......
try this cab from Helmi... don't know if it will help...

Need help determining what may have caused VM to stop playing in email!

OK, here's the backround info. My wife uses her T-Mobile MDA to log onto her jobs email server via EDGE. Her voice mails are automatically sent to her email, and she's been able to check her email on her MDA and be able to play them in the media player. All of a sudden, she says she's now getting an error message saying that a component is missing (I don't have the phone with me now). So, she calls me and asks me what I did to her phone. I have no idea what would cause this to stop working. Can someone help me brain storm? I know I should have the phone with me to describe exactly what the message is but I'm not able to get it from her at the moment. Just trying to think of some possible reasons.
Her phone is using the original T-Mobile USA ROM, we just added the following programs recently: 1) NoteM (which didn't work properly) 2) TodayAgenda 3) Smartbutton 4) Oxios Hibernate.
I also removed two programs: some T-Mobile Hot Spot manager (never uses wifi) and the other, I can't remember what it was. It was sofware that's been on the phone since we bought it new but I didn't think she needed it. I can't remember what it is for the life of me.
So, if someone has a suggestion, please let me know. Also, is there a list of all programs that came stock on the MDA?
OK. This is the error message I get when I try to download the WAV file for the voice mail: "The file 'VOICEATT' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file."
It let's me download the file now but when I try to play it, I get the message above. Also, the file just has a generic white piece of paper look to it with the MS icon in the middle. She says this was working fine before, it just stoped working this week. BTW, I also added .NET Framework to her device last week as well. Added this because I couldn't get Smart button to work without it. She said it used to open in the Media player, no problems. Any ideas what might be causing this? Looks like the file is not recognized anymore.
Also, I just downloaded the same file to my Artemis and it shows up as a windows wave file icon. No problems playing it on my desktop or my phone. But the MDA will not recognize the file no matter what. What's even more strange is that I can play the file with MS Notes? It still has the same generic icon, but I can play the files in Notes, but not in WMP. What could have caused WMP to stop recognizing wave files? I can still play her MP3 on her storage card in WMP though.
Also, I added a Security Prompt Bug Fix to turn off the security. Before I added this, it wouldn't even let me download the file. Now it downloads but I just can't play it.

we just went to avaya voip at work and now get VMs in our email as well. i had the same issue, and couldnt figure out why WMP couldnt play WAV files... doesnt make sense. but anyways i installed TCMP (http://www.freewareppc.com/multimedia/tcpmp.shtml) and set it to be the default player for everything... when opening up wav files it still says unsupported codec. what the hell can it play if it can't play wav files? i ended up going to a different WM6 build where WMP would work (tested it just now). so the only thing i can suggest is finding a CAB for WMP and installing again or play around with the ten million WM6 builds...

I downloaded Conduits Meda Player and it plays the files but it wont automatically play the files when you click on them. I could not find a setting that would make it automatically open and play the file - it would just open the program. Then you had to open the folder where the file was stored. Since I also discovered that the Notes program would play the WAV files, I just uninstalled the Conduits prog, and now I'm having my wife just use notes instead. It's a little cumbersome, but until I can find a media player that can open automatically and play the darn files, may as well use Notes.

Since audio is basically all you need, try this great little app. This is the updated version, and has a settings option to play at open.
Enjoy!

By the way TCPMP does have a setting to "play at open"
In TCPMP go to Options>settings
[pict1]
Select page>player check box at play at open. Tap OK [pict2]

weird DRM issue

Hi
I'm using the Touch IT-HD ROM on Xperia. I've got a 7 day trial of Napster to Go and have downloaded a few tracks to the phone. The tracks are, I believe, protected by Janus DRM.
When I try and open the songs in Windows Media Player Mobile I get the error message:
"%1 is not a valid Win32 Application".
Subsequently I can't launch anything else other than the Settings folder (which has some icons missing). Trying to launch anything else gives me the message:
"... is not a valid Pocket PC application".
But then if I play an MP3 (WMP has stayed open) then everything starts working again.
Almost the same thing happens in the TouchFlo music player other than that I don't get the first error message and the DRM music actually plays (everything else breaks again though). Anyone have any idea why, anyone using Napster with a standard ROM Xperia?
sorry to bump this but it's doing my head in...
hi,
I am using Napster with X1 but never had issue like you described
Sorry, can`t help you further

Music will not start

Hi,
I used Microsoft ActiveSync Explorer to delete and move some music files. Now HTC Music will not start. Instead it just restarts HTC Sense. I believe this may well be because the current album playing was one that I removed or edited so it cannot find it. The files play perfectly fine with WMP.
Any ideas how I can overcome this?
Cheers.
Bump, sorry.
I tried removing all music from the device. No affect. HTC sense still restarts. I did a search through the registry and found HKLM/Software/HTC/AudioManager_Eng/information with several strings relating to a removed album. I modified these to point to a new one but still no luck. I have also tried modifying HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila/Music. Sense still restarts.
Can anyone help?

a problem has occurred with...HELP!!

ok, i have been using the Mixhdj recently on the hd2 over the last couple of days testing the mp3's that came preinstalled with mobile device
today i have deleted most of the original mp3's and transfered some of my mp3's onto the storage card using WMDC. now every time i open the app and as i click the load mp3 (this usually lists all the mp3 on the mobile) i get this error "a problem has occurred with mixhdj.exe" AHHHH
i get this message a few times and after that every time i click load mp3 it just exits the program..i have un & inistalled the app, removed MY mp3 but i still get the same problem..why is this happening ?
i love the HD2 but it is very worrying when something goes wrong and this is not the first time its happened . i dont wanna hard reset yet but does anyone have any solutions, im willing to try a few things out.
on researching this error, apparenlty there is particular way to transfer mp3's onto the device with the music tab on display and this prevents touchflo from freezing. well im on a uk tmob stock rom 1.72.x.x so im not sure if this is an old bug thats been rectified? also when transferring mp3 some of mine do not contain images, anf might have special characters& punctuation does this affects the music function and be the root of the cause??
thanks for readinghope it makes sense & hope you can help
any problems accessing those mp3s with the music player?
have you tried removing the dj app and the reinstalling it?
yes, i can play the mp3's via the music player and tried to reinstall app.
why did this error occur when i transferred my mp3's to the device?
