Music search is an app that searches for music and download them straight to your sdcard. It has a retty wide variety of music on their network.

Look up the mp3 trimmer app it lets you make your own ringtones from any song you have in your sd card or main memory.

Yeah, Ringdroid in the market (FREE!) Allows you to cut mp3s and save them as ringtones...if you just wanna use the whole song, Rings Extended will give you that option I believe...

The only issue with ringdroid is that sometimes where you tell it to cut the song is not what it will end up saving...
If you want to use a whole song you dont even need to download an app. Just have the music on your memory card and open up the music player and start playing the song you want to use, hit the menu button and you have the option to set it as a ringtone. It will automatically become your default ringer.
Then just go to your contacts and edit them and change their ringtone.
I use quicktime on my computer to trim down mp3s, export them as a wav (you need quicktime pro to export) and then use itunes to convert it back to a mp3 and save it to my memory card (card/media/audio/ringtones)
You can make custom notifications and alarms this way as well, just in the audio folder on your card make a new folder for alarms or notifications and save them accordingly.
Rings Extened is good like the one above mentioned, i mean if you want to play the full mp3 song then this allows you too, not sure if the defualt will let you use the ringdroid songs but if they dont then both of these apps are good to have for this situation.
My friend has the ringtone from crank.. pretty sweet ringtone but I don't want to have the same one. Just wondering if you guys knew of any ringtones like that.

Man I though people searching for ringtones was a thing of the past.. but anyway a couple of simple options is get the zedge app from the market, or a ringtone maker app from the market, I have saw a few free ones. With zedge your options are endless, and with ringtone maker you can take a clip of any song you want...

I make my own ringtones all the time. You just need to find something you like, that's noisy, that you would want to hear whenever someone called you.
I vacillate between something from a movie, something from a video game, and M-Flo's songs. Since a handful of his songs at the beginning are just noise/voices that sound cool.

Zedge app in play store, you can find basically anything in there, lots of great ringtones plus a search.
The navigation voice is in music which is a pain. Is this where it should be? If so why? Or should be somewhere else?

Navigation voice for which application? Is it just speaking over the top of your music or are there actual voice files playing as music? More information required...
If you put a empty file just called .nomedia file in the folder the voice files are, the music indexer will ignore it in the future.
The navigation voice is for the pre installed app called navigation which gives voice instructions such as 'turn left', etc. It is not speaking over the top of the music. Its just in 'all' of the pre installed app music but not in 'artists', 'play lists, or 'albums', etc. So I suppose I can live with it.
Sorry about adding this question 2 or 3 times - just a beginner on this site and so still learning. And if anyone can delete the other threads that would be appreciated. Whilst here, is there a way of seeing or searching for your posts without having to run through the list of threads?

Player Pro lets you set which folder your music is in too.
I'm sure a lot of other music players do too. I have many audio files that aren't music that I don't want included in my library, so I use Power Amp.

I have used your listed app already. It dont have the feature that i want. Musixmatch only download the lyric when im playing the music. What i want was to mark all of my songs on my phone then the apps download all the lyrics. I just want the app to do the job. I hate playing 2k of my music one by one just to download the lyrics on musixMatch. you know what i mean. I've downloaded pimp my music, it has the feature that i want. But it only search for some of the lyrics. Sometimes it fails to search. Hmmm. Thanks for the help @jaythenut ;
