[Q] Which theme do you think is the best for manilla?

Hey I just got a diamond and i was wondering which themes you guys think are the best? Screenshots please!!!

personally I like outline, because of its simplicity and it's not a bunch of icons thrown together and badly resized (no offence to everyone that does that, I know it takes a long time to make a theme).

How bout searching for themes in this forum? Lot of screenshots

just ainstall "Manila Customizer".
now you can choose by your self wich icons, slaiders, wallpapers, clocks, etc...
make your own favorit theme.

the very best theme EVER for manila is so amazingly wonderful & beautiful & sublime & has rockets that make you take off into 7th heaven & when you get there you realize even the big dude upstairs (if you believe 'it/he/she/what ?' exists) is jealous of this theme (he's still running around with 2 beakers & a piece of string, whilst although nicely decorated with the help from a certain Michealangelo, really doesn't live up to a nice shiny spanking new HTC), then you flash it to the chirping cherubs & man (or woman) they would cream their jeans if they wore jeans but they don't but you get the picture (exciting isn't it !) & even the archangels are astounded, except of course for the fallen one as, well, he knows a bit more about these things than the upstairs crew & has impeccable taste of course (how did he happen to be there you may ask ? Usual monthly round table with the boss, discussions on the state of the universe, discussion on the stupidity of mankind & whether Britney will make another comeback soon, usual sort of thing), anyway, this theme is just so funky that even James Brown was speechless except for a 'yaow erh ugh" which is surely a good sign, anyway, this theme, what is it called & how to find it ?

i have a request for another similar game if you can make one, cant remember the name of the game but you have to move pegs of different sizes over from one pole to another, but you can only place smaller pegs on top of bigger ones.
i will wpost more details when i find what im trying to describe.
its just a request may be you might be interested

My grandpa had one of these and I always used to play it at his house. There was a legend on it that told you how smart you were based on how many pegs you had left Good times!

great game... however i'm using it on a Samsung Omnia i910 and the pegs are shifted up quite a bit. Kinda hard to tell which spots are open. Anyone else have this problem/solutions?

I get en error. Need a newer version of the Microsoft :NET Compact Framework.

[THEME] UPDATED 4/2/2011 Full transparent theme 1.0 for LeeDroid 2.3d/AuraxTSense v8

Full transparent theme tested on Leedroid 2.3d, AuraxTSense v8.4
This is hacked together of different peoples App draws and Notification bars, along with blue touches from the infamous carbon blue theme and now with Clear Glass Sense [esk0Glass 1.0].
Also has power notification widget.
In short the only credit i take is patching them all together so hope you guys approve.
UPDATE ON WAY HOPEFULLY !!! TESTED WORKING ON LeeDroid2.3d !!!!
Just waiting on permission from the maker of the zip I based it on.

If you want to change bits do what i did, open the file and change the images, im not a dev. I made this how i like it from other peoples work. I uploaded it here just to share it. I'll try and post a how to later

Yeah, had to use the blue carbon theme as a base to get the battery to work properly as the original one i wad using only had 8 stages.
Wanna do a "how to" next so people can add their own icons and custom battery images. Think if the masses new how easy it was, we could have alot more themes.
Im no dev nor graphic designer but managed to chop it all together.
Im sure someone out there could build a solid base file ?
Ps. Any chane of getting this on the mini site, as it was designed to work on leedroid ?

Could you please tell me what files i have to change to get a transparent notification bar whit circle mod A?

Nice one markhd. Youve inspired me to get theming. I spent a good part of yesterday learning the ins and outs and after many nandroids and boot loops ive figured it out. Im gonna check out themes for other sense phones like incredible and evo and see what i can port over(if i can). Cheers

No havent rooted yet because I havent had a good enough reason to do it. I have a card that i bought so that I can create the gold card etc, just not got round to do it as changing the theme isnt enough to make me root it.

Hi james, the benifits for many people make it well worth while, in addition to themes there are many more things to play with. For example custom roms with extra features, the ability to run apps from sd fully, bootscreens, sounds, icons, widgets, even some apps ( do a search on the market). Various fixes for bugs and issues that have been corrected by devs on here are often only availably via a flashable .zip of which useually require root.
There are also risks involved, you could brick your phone / kill your cat / forget to do the washing up. But i have not known anyone on here have an issue that could not be fixed, and now orange uk is sorted i believe all rooting can now be reversed.
Anyony please correct above info above as appropriate as i wouldnt want to miss inform anyone, just tryin to help clear up some points.

Looks cool mate, not so keen on the clock personally but thats just me. The icons look freakin awesome. Got some new widgets, facebook / twitter etc might mix these icons in too !q

Bit of a battery drainer though!

I like it, but any chances to mod this theme and have green buttons etc (not blue!)

I was about to boot into recovery and flash when I suddenly realized I was on the SuperVillainHD-train. I'm doubting that this will work.

removed dropbox link and added Android [GEARS] v.2 as an attachment.
I dropped the bit depth down to 256k which cut out almost half the file size (from 9+mb down to 4+mb) Result = a much faster load with little noticeable difference in quality - (some might notice it but it's barely perceptible for the rest of us)

No. You can use a file explorer with root permission to place the file in /system/media.
You can also try placing it in /data/local.

I was using one of your other boot animations (the Acer A500 Clean) but after seeing the gears, I had to go for it. Completely awesome, and a very easy way to give the old tablet a bit of a personalized touch. Thanks, you rock!
P.S. the extra snazziness scared me, I didn't know if I could handle that much awesomitude at one go, so I went for the V1.

v2 is essentially the same but has a more of a double-pump /heart beat effect with a touch more zip and *does jazz-hands* Pizzazz!
v1 is definitely the 'toned' down version.

Request (apologies OP): Would someone be able to edit a picture for me so I can use it as a wallpaper? It's a very simply logo (hockey team I play for) I want the back ground to be black and the images size/resolution to be correct to use as a wallpaper on my N5. I've tried and when I set it as a wallpaper it is too zoomed in.

I really like Nexus 4 Dot on the Nexus 5 and, as long as you use one colour and slow it down a bit, it's nice and subtle.
Looks great set to white, then you get a nice fully-monochrome lock screen.
