2 im a little noob in this, the matter is i get today my new htcpro2 and i want to know some stuff for the pros here.
i want to get a program or something for record my calls, i really need this one please help. i intall a cab i found here the name is Enable_In_Call_Recording but i dont know how to put it in function becuse in the call menu no appear something that tells me to put in record the call
i see some youtube videos about a fm radio, is that truth?
my google map have a problem no accurate ping point me i try something i see in another forum but im stuck in the part of configure the com port "here is the picture"

i need a aplication that give me the oportunity to connect to all my emails and facebook i know is a app for that becuse i see it but i dont remember the name the app permits you to have all your messagers open and emails account open to receive your emails and the ims from yours clients or friends.
my provider is sprint

First off if no one has said this yet, welcome to XDA
Secondly, I would recommend asking your query in the Touch Pro 2 forums rather than the HD ones. More likely to get an accurate response

Madkat, Man before raising finger on some one, You should try n get a response, shouldnt come to conclusions so easily..now the reason i need is cause i am getting married in feb, and to send pre-invites by sms, i need this software.. i am a businessman..and the business i am into..requires no marketing..as we sell only to O.E.M's.. hope ive made my self clear..and BTW..i too hate spammers..
please share us ur information i you find any program .

Fair enough, sorry if I came across over-zealous TBH the lack of detail of the usage and the interest in giving your CLI (Caller Line ID - or the "number" the text is from) as a name instead of a number led me right down the wrong path.
If you don't mind my saying, a better idea might be to leave the number intact and include the names in the message - that way everything still ties up for the recipients, some of whom might automatically reject messages from people not in their contacts to cut down on SPAM Anyone who doesn't, and who doesn't have you in their contacts, will then have your contact number *and* know who you are, rather than just having a name.

First of all, I do not know the category of my XDA Zinc. But, by looking at the picture, I think it looks like Hermes for me. So, I ask my problem here. I'm very sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.
What my problem is that I suddenly cannot send, read messages (SMS, MMS, e-mail). It seems that the SMS application cannot be played. I try to create new sms from contact application, but it also fails.
What should I do? For your information, I have not installed any application.

sorry dude, its not a hermes, in fact i dont think its even an htc device......you can try to hard reset the device, if you can figure out how to. someone here might be able to help you, but i think you're better off checking the general forums.

I have a suggestion to make regarding an aplication for HTC Touch Diamond. It would be very useful for me (and for many others I'm sure) to protect my sent and received messages (sms, mms and email) by a password. I have a very curious wife-to-be and I really don't want her to find the messages I send and receive from other women ... hehehe It would be great if you could make an aplication like this .... I'll be more then willing to pay for it!
Can someone help me with an aplication for voice commands? I can't find one anywhere.

I tried EZ secret sms but it's not that great! It's very hard to work with because you must specify the contacts you want the messages to be protected and the graphics are quite bad and slow. Besides, it only works for sms, without email and mms
I was thinking at something that just adds a password to messaging. It's much easier like this!
Anyone with a suggestion ???

I think it's also possible to make it a startup program, so even after a reset, ur phone should be locked..

I had a smiliar problem one day, and contacted a Moderator. Theytold me it was a server problem. Try contacting one of them with your problem and they will most certainly be able to help you.
I keep getting a notification to request friends from HTC Sense Friends. However all the friends are just listed as "Orange" with the option Request or Ignore.
How can I disable this?

What happens is HTCSense.com syncs all your contacts to it's database. In your case, you have "Orange" in your phone book.
When someone else with "Orange" in their phone book (you can imagine that it's quite a lot!) syncs up with HTCSense.com, then HTCSense.com goes "Oh look! This is the same person, maybe these people are buddies!" and suggests that you might be friends with them.
I get it with "Vodafone" and "Voicemail" too. I also had "Aaaaa" which was a remnant of an old featurephone that I would always end up pocket-calling (was one of those phones where pressing the select button takes you into the menu, then the phone book, then the first contact, then calls it - so I put a dummy entry in to stop it from calling anyone!)
Easiest way around it is to rename your contacts to something else. So you could change "Orange" to "Orange Customer Services" - however you'll probably find that someone else has that too...so you might need to get more obscure with your naming!
Or you just disable HTCsense sync (Options->Accounts and sync).
If you don't really use it, there's no point of it draining ur battery while u sleep
what exactly does HTCsense sync do ?
i mean if we stop it from syncing , will that affect the sense.com website and we wont be able to track the phone or ring/lock it ?

At first I was ignoring them but they kept coming back so I clicked the Request button to see if it would go away, but no it says I have them as friends but offers more of the same contacts (main one being "show balance") to add as freinds. Can someone please help cos this happends every second day?

Sorry about that I should have addressed it as I'm still getting the same thing. I did change them by removing letters and it was still showing up and found out it's the number its finding, but after all that I found out that it was O2 numbers from when I joined HTC Sence with a HD2 desire rom and now I'm with vodafone and they aren't applicable so have now deleted them
very sorry about that, I am a Noob
