I downloaded the HTCMAG_ROM_WWE_O4.rar rom and wen i run the update program the mag restart into bootloader and den an error comes on the screen

I followed this method but it didn't help getting the same Error 120: Country ID error.
FYI, I edited the RUU.conf file and added [CHECKCEID_TYPE]=1 as given in the document.

That's not a compatability issue- use the 'MaUpgrade_noID' (ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Magician/Tools) file to upgrade instead of the standard MaUpgradeUt.
This bypasses the country error.
whre i can get the installer???
My machine is Qtek 2020i and I download the ROM from ftp.xda-developers.com and do upgrading process to my device.
The error messgae: ERROR 120: COUNTRY ID ERROR

hi! i have x7500 athena i want to change language, this phone coming from vienna, austria i think its german language, my problem is i forgot to unlock first, i just upgrade with this rom ATHE_WM6_x7500_flasher but problem occur "invalid vender id" now phone is in bootloader!! i try all rom available in forum but problem same always "invalid vender id" there any chance to revive my x7500!!!!please help!!problem is i dont know what version on the phone all i know is german language coz its coming from vienna,my question is what type of rom that can flash to this phone!!!thanks

hi thanks for reply!!!!!but my problem is the phone never unlock CID thats why when i flash any rom its stop always "invalid vender id "!!any one knows how to unlock CID in bootloader only ,i try to use athena unlocker but it say invalid update tool!! for sure i need original rom for this,please where i can download german rom wm5.

I will suggest to send a PM to CMONEX ... using MTTY and some commands (TASK xx) under hers supervision you should recover your device

so are the any specs on the ram usage or available rom for version? am downloading as i type and am curious to try. i am getting weird freezing on one of the cooked roms i am using, but not sure if it's the radio that i flashed or the rom itself.

I flashed my HD2 with the Arabic ROM 1.66, when I install the arabiser, after several restarts the device shows 2 messages: 'Your trial period has expired' and 'This programm is not for the range of your device'. Following this the device is stuck in full Arabic and the instructions as per the HTC website to enable 'English with Arabic enabled' would not work as the multilingual support shows one page with request to enter email adress for registration in mobitidiv, after enterig email the internet browser opens and I get redirected into this software page.
Any idea why ?

That's very weird. Have you tried hard resetting your device, or re-flashing it?

This happened because your device is not GCC or Egypt region. It will not work for you. Try flashing the WWE rom then just install TSD's arabic files.. Good luck

i have the old blackstone file HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex
it didn't work, gave me another error because it is not for HD2
Do you have HSPL that works for HD2? i searched and couldn't find.

I get an Error mesage of (296) upgrade only and it says The NBF file cannot be used for your phone, please get a newer NBF file. Can anyone help me out without me having to bake my phone? Any answers would be great!"

Vendor ID
If the file is signed then you won't be able to modify the vendor code manually with a hex edit. Have to wait for someone to find an exploit and use this to force the flash.
