i have the mda compact III with german language...
I would want to change with english rom..
is possible?

Can you tell us which ROM you are using? Did it flash on sucessfully?

No.I have unlocked with imeicheck,and WLAN is locked

The ROMs in your link are versions 1.11 and 1.12 not 1.13

yepp, `cause your machine is cid locked.
unlock possibility via : http://www.imei-check.co.uk/
(removes SIM/NETWORK LOCK - use any provider, removes CID lock - flash any firmware)
charges you 20 pounds

wrong, its due to "you can only flash from same type of machine" i.e. hero to hero not artemis to hero , (1.12 is htc/artemis)

I re-flash my Herald today,but Invalid Vender ID at 2%!
So,I must wait for official RUU，I thought!

I suggest you do that but you can also unlock your CID at http://www.imei-check.co.uk
BUT it did not work for papamopps, he bricked his device with this..

But my phone is O2!I go to https://www.numberingplans.com//?page=home check my phone,

Mobile Equipment Type Dopod C800

It does not matter what provider you have, it's a herald so it works remember CID lock is something else than SIM lock..

Well you got the answer than mate? because if you gonna say something about CID locking don't I can flash my CID-Unlocked T-mobile Artemis with about every ROM version and ROM language, but not the HTC ROM so can you help?

Has anyone an idea how to skip cid check or how to modify and sign the nbh with an other cid? (in my case TMO Germany)?

I've got the same mistake on my french Orange Mozart. Hoping a solution soon !

I tryed this ROM on my Mozart:
ERROR [296] : UPGRADE ONLY
I get an Error mesage of (296) upgrade only and it says The NBF file cannot be used for your phone, please get a newer NBF file. Can anyone help me out without me having to bake my phone? Any answers would be great!"

Im also geting the Invalid Vendor ID

has anyone tried flashing this rom again after applying the ChevronWP7 hack?
Does it "fix" the vendor id issue?

Vendor ID
If the file is signed then you won't be able to modify the vendor code manually with a hex edit. Have to wait for someone to find an exploit and use this to force the flash.
