For some reason, I think you're in the wrong forum.
TP2= Touch Pro 2 which you must be using if you're in this forum.

Android has the best games
Google
When I first got my vogue I used google to search around and find programs and games. Search around on xda and maybe ppcgeeks using the search built into the sites. As for installing programs you can usually install .cab files from active sync or you can use active sync to copy over the cab file and install it manually. Eventually you'll most likely want to give android a try and possibly Windows Mobile 6.5. Read and research because there are a lot of forums and a lot of answers already out there.

He is referring to the Android OS for mobile phones.
android
android is google's operating system for smart phones. some very talented people here have ported it over to work with the htc touch (vogue).

Have you checked out TomTom's website for Windows Mobile software? I believe they have at least the CAB file for the application, which lets you download 1 free map after you install it.

TomTom 7 runs perfectly fine on my TP2. Not sure if they're wanting to release one a bit more friendlier for WVGA, but it looks and operates fine for me the way it is.
Really? Don't you find it a bit choppy/jerky? It used to run perfectly smooth on my old Vogue, but I think it's due to the much higher resolution.

Bought it with the used Kaiser I have as a backup.
As far as performance, it's not choppy for me. Runs fairly smooth to me.
Does anyone have any idea when TomTom 8 is going to see release for WinMo in general. Thought I'd throw that out there whilst we're semi on the topic .

Windows 7 downgrade/flash or something like this...

Hey Guys,
I have brand new LG Optimus 7 with, of course, windows phone 7 software installed on it.
I bought it for my girlfriend, but the problem is that i didn't checked the system 7... It is not good, she doesn't like it so much. Can i flash the rom with 6.5 or something else more like OS, not like chocolate for kids.....?
Thanks in advance!
Regards
PS: sorry if i post it in wrong forum, but please help me if you can, move the thread as well too thanks a lot!
No you can't.

This is not good i guess Android will be with the same answer, right?
Well, if you are talking seriously and not trolling, I bet there's a lot of people on Craigslist and eBay ready to swap their HTC HD2 or another high-end device with WinMo 6.5 with your girlfriend's Optimus 7 and even pay the difference.

Here you can find a ROM fully unlocked with nokia drive preinstalled. Be advised, unlock your phone is not so easy, you must have some skill to do that. Read deep and patiently the thread.
Otherwise you can find the navigation app directly from the app store. It's a quietly good app, for a resonable price.

GPS included...but which one?!

Hey. I want to replace my old HTC HD2 and now I'm searching for a new phone.
I wanted to know which GPS-Type is included in Nexus 4 - GPS or aGPS. I could not found a good anwser.

Almost every phone comes equipped with both these days. The Nexus 4 also includes GLONASS suport. :good:

It can be whatever you want it to be.
Edit: See I was beat to reply.. Poster above said the same thing basically.
a(ssisted)GPS like in any other phone. If I'm not completely mistaken, it also has support for GLONASS
