i love custom ROMs, especially NRG's, but i really like the stock look of the Tilt 2.
is there anyway to restore all of the AT&T theming?
i realize there is no AT&T themed TouchFlo3D 2.5
but everything other than that- is it possible?
main things:
Their WinMo Theme
Their TouchFlo Sliders and Icons
Hmmm AT&T theme on TP2? I dont think there is a AT&T ROM out yet.
search for the att warhawk theme. it's from the diamond 2/pure but it should work on the tp2
Here's the .tsk file for the AT&T Tabbed blue theme. This is pulled directly from the Tilt 2. You need to rename the extension to .tsk and place the file in the windows directory.
oh alright, thanks. it is coming out officially soon. and some stores already have the Tilt 2. i'm waiting still though in Terre Haute, IN.
so that the 6.5 theme i assume?

Okay i'm a complete newbie to all this stuff.. and have tried reading through several posts but i really don't get what to do because theres too many different things to do! i just want the phone to not have the o2 layout and instead that nice black layout... without the phone going really slow (because i've read when you change the theme everything gets slow? )
much help would be appreciated! i.e. what i need to download and how i install it...
thanks a lot guys
to change the theme to black you need to change 2 things -
1. the windows mobile theme (a .tsk file) to complete black (either you have it on your phone, or search for it, or say, i'll post it)
and
2. the touchflo3d theme. for that you need to install tf3d config on your phone (you'll find one here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405749 ) and download a black theme (.theme file) or any other you want, e.g. from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=409901 or you can just search the forums for more themes...
but i understand your desperation, the o2 theme (i have german o2) really is ugly
umm i would be greatful if you could upload the windows black theme
and also how do i install these things? like what steps do i take...? do i use a program...? and where do i put the config file.. the theme file.. and windows mobile theme etc... i'm soo clueless
and so if i do all these... it'll look like the original HTC diamond and not the crap o2 layout?
thanks a lot in advance
I have done this to my Ignito and it slows it down a bit. But ha its better than the poo o2 put on it. o2 have always F****D up good HTC phones by putting rubbish software or themes on them. God knows what makes them do it.

see post #2
-the windows .tsk theme (attached) you put in the windows folder on your device and change the theme in start->settings->today (on first tab)->htc black (newly added)->ok
-the tf3d config tool needed to change the theme - put the .cab (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=102057&d=1217092240) anywhere on the device and run it from there to install
-to install tf3d theme, follow instructions from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2428664&postcount=1 (the black theme is also in that post)
I agree about O2 ROMs - buggy as hell and slow too. I flashed my Artemis with the original HTC ROM and it went from a crash a day to no crashes in a year. I'm now looking at the HTC Diamond too - or the O2 ignitus at least (O2 describe this on their website as a phone manufactured by O2!) - has anybody laoded the HTC ROM over the O2 one, and are there any guides to follow?

If you have loaded a a original htc rom on you artemis then this is pretty much the same. there are hundreds of guides. Install hard spl and then flash using ruu. and about the ignito being manufactured by O2 i dont know but it is the diamond DIAM100 and yes i have tried my self to flash 1 and works with no problems. for guides go to rom development section and check the stickies.
This Morining...
I sat and looked at my XDA ignito and thought 'wow that looks crap and tacky' and within 25 mins it looks awesome. thanks for the posts My phone is now black and sexy =]
music player
Any idea why the playlist / artist / album etc. tabs have gone from music player after this process ?
*edit, tried another tf3d (think it was tlr.manilla)
got me tabs back but start menu is blue ! all else fine though
Any ideas, looked and looked and searched ...
o2 xda - 1.93 stock rom - tf3d config 0.67
I recently got my Touch Pro 2, and love the device. However I'm still on T-Mobile 6.1 ROM, and waiting for their 6.5 update.
There are many custom tabs/screens for Manila on this forum. Is it possible to use them on this stock ROM? Or I must switch to a cooked one?
U going to have to swith to a custom rom. its best if you get your roms from thewingster.com
I guess flashing custom roms invalidates my warranty.
Thanks anyways, I might try it when I have a little more courage.
Don't listen to him, you don't need a custom ROM to customize TF3D. I use the stock ROM and I have switched wallpapers, clocks, taskbar icons, slider icons, lock screen and more. Tons of stuff you can do with stock ROM!
Here's an example:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493011
EDIT: Just search a bit here and places like PPCGeeks etc, you can find tons of stuff. Most of the CABs from this forum (Rhodium > Rhodium themes, applications and software) work with the stock ROM. Just be sure to check which Manila / WM version they are made for. There are also many to be found in other categories here at XDA, and also you can google them.

Thanks a lot. That link looks very promising, I'll try it as soon as possible.
Ditto, I was going to say the same thing. It's not like your manila files are locked in stock ROMs. So you can manipulate them as you see fit.
You don't need to resort to flashing your ROM unless you want a complete different version of Manila.
are there any sense (weather in the middle of the time and the clouds going over the background) themes that are in .cab type i can download and just intstall or is the only way to get that is flash my rom?
from what i have read...(i could be wrong) the Tilt 2 does not come with Sense which is needed for the weather... so you would have to upgrade your stock rom..to a custom rom
maybe someone can add to this...
You are right. The Sense that you see with the weather is an updated version of the software. Only way to get it is to flash a custom rom.
thanks alot, really dissapointing thought cuz that would be sweet, do either of you know how to flash roms from a mac cuz i dont have a pc

No mate, HTC may have released the latest Sense 2.1 or Manila 2.1 which is popularly called here in XDA.
If you bought it from your service provider, maybe they updated it to Manila 2.1 Sense.
If you bought it from a third party , he may have flashed the ROM to a cooked ROM.
The only way you guys can get Sense 2.1 with weather is by flashing a new ROM.
I'm still running the stock AT&T rom on my tilt 2 and the version of touchflo 3d that I have is 2.1.19183217.0
anyways I would like to use cookies home tab mainly so i can customize the walpaper for all of the touch flo screens, and not just the home tab. but it requires version 2.5 and I haven't seen anything about updating the sense version. I'd rather not go through the trouble of flashing a new rom if i don't have to. or if there is another program that would work for version 2.1 that would be fine too.
To get Sense 2.5, you must have a rom flashed to your phone that has it preinstalled. There is no upgrading Manila without flashing a new rom.
Well not sure if you can "upgrade" manila to 2.5 or if you'd need to uninstall (?) it but here is a link to a cab that is manila 2.5.
http://www.freeza-inc.com/freezaROM/OEMCAB/fi. Sense - 2.5.2011.3030 for WM6.1 beta.cab
And here is a link to a lot of different files that you might find interesting.

Use HDWalls, if all you want is to have the same background in all tabs. You don't need Sense 2.5/Co0kie's for that.
does any one know how to change the theme on the touch pro 2 for tmobile..?
Are you talking about changing the theme to another one already installed on the phone? If so, you go to Start>Settings>Home>Appearance. I don't have a TMob branded TP2, so I don't know what themes are pre-installed.
Or are you talking about installing a brand new (custom) theme? There are a few on this forum intended especially for the TP2, if you page through it. Make sure they are compatible with the version of Sense/Manila that you have. They typically install as a .cab file.

There are also some custom themes in the non-device specific Windows Mobile forum. But you have to be more careful about compatibility with your device, screen resolution (TP2 is WVGA), as well as version of Sense also.
