ROM Ita!

Can Enyone help me? I've the JasJar in English language, I need It in Italian. In a month the JasJar will be in Italy with the name of Qtek 9000. The i-mate support sayd that if I change the language I can damage the motherboard, onother sayd that will not avialable because the JASJAR give ID error; nobody of They wish ob a Ita Rom will out to resolve the problem. I am not the only Italian to have JASJAR in English. Qtek 9000 and JASJAR are the same machine.

I don't have a JasJar or Qtek 9000 but I don't think you can damage the motherboard, this is strange for me.
You need the I-mate original italian Rom when it will be available, I think.
I also know that if you change the Rom you could lose your warranty.
If you want you can send me a pm so we can speak italian :wink:

the country id error is no more a problem...
i changed rom about 6 or 7 times... don't worry...

su www.windowsmobile.it è possibile scaricare le rom italiane...
solo che bisogna registrarsi col serial number del proprio qtek regolarmente acquistato in italia (distribuito dalla dangaard)...
per me è impossibile visto che non ho acquistato il palmare in italia...
nessuno si è già registrato?
chiunque lo fosse già potrebbe mettere i file a disposizione sull'ftp...
per quanto riguarda rom italiane ho soltanto win mobile 2003 per ipaq 3970.. se è utile a qualcuno basta chiedere...

I just downloaded last stable version of Italian Roms from TIM's private ftp!!! It works perfectly!!!

the customer service in italy says that the piece is not available .
the time for repair estimated is 1 mounth.... sigh

La Tim offre agli utenti la possibilità di scaricare gratuitamente le rom italiane per diversi palmari...
Per quanto riguarda il qtek9000 verrà rilasciata la rom italiana a breve.
Ho avuto queste informazioni da un amico che lavora alla TIM.
Se può essere utile a qualcuno ho scaricato e tesato la rom disponibile per qtek2020... tutto ok.
La versione che offrono è la 1.66.04ITA.

Advice about ROMs on italian P4350

Hallo, I am the (fortunate ?) owner of an italian P4350 (WM5 stock, unblemished).
While marvelling at the multitude of options for modding, I don't fully understand the details of flashing, and I worry that things may not go as expected if I try to use any random cooked ROM.
Hence my query: are there any fellow italian P4350 users who have gone successfully through all the paces and which wouldn't mind to maybe give me 5 minutes over an IM or via PMs to compare software versions and clear some doubts ?

Ciao, sono il (fortunato ?) possessore di un P4350 italiano (comprato su ciao.it, con WM5).
Se da una parte trovo molto interessante la possibilità di provare mod e ROM differenti, dall'altra mi preoccupo che qualcosa vada storto (un prerequisito mancato, una versione del software inadeguata, o che so io, non sarebbe la prima volta che uso software/hardware localizzato IT che poi si rivela incompatibile con alcune funzioni disponibili world-wide).
Da qui il quesito: c'è qualche anima pia che abbia già flashato con successo e che potrebbe dedicarmi 5 minuti su un IM o via PM per chiarire qualche dubbio ?

In your last line you highlight in a way what my worries are, viz, that htc italy may use "something" (I have no idea what, or I wouldn't worry) different in the italian herald from its overseas counterpart. I am very probably wasting my Worry Points, but you never know. Hence my quest for someone with the same exact phone who's already undergone all the flashing.
About italian roms, there's the italian WM6 rom on the htc site.

Omnia Brikkato dopo aggiornamento Cooked Rom Italiana

Ciao ragazzi...volevo sapere se qualkuno di voi sa aiutarmi...è la seconda volta ke brikko l'Omnia(nn so xk ma kapita solo a me) dopo un'aggiornamento. Questa volta stavo installando una Cooked Rom Italiana con Grand Prix...Tutto l'aggiornamento è andato bene xò alla fine il terminale si riavvia e nn si riaccende più... se premo il tasto di accensione nn si accende neanke quello... xò se collego l'Omnia al pc me lo rileva come periferica Monahans...e cerca di installarlo...spero ke qualkuno di voi mi sa aiutare... anke xk nn vorrei rimandarlo in'assistenza xk l'ultima volta se lo sono tenuti un mese....

Hello boys… I wanted to know if someone of you knows to help me… is the second time that brick l' Omnia (nn I know because but it only happens to me) after un' modernization. This time I was installing a Cooked Italian Rom with Grand Prix… All l' modernization has gone well but at the end they finishes riavvia and nn more is relit… if I press the ignition key nn ignites not even that one… but if I connect l' Omnia to the PC finds as peripheral Monahans to me… and tries to install it… hopes that someone of you knows to me to help… anke because I would not want to send back it in attendance because l' last time if they are held it a month…. Thanks to those which they will help me!

Well it seems to be an english speaking site, so speaking english would be better =) and try to find an omnia forum not an htc one. Btw try using google translate, perhaps it will make your speach more readable.

I think there is info regarding this under the VOX section - but be warned its not an easy installation and it is not perfect even if it doesnt enbrick the phone. Personally I would advise having a look at PointUI - infinately customisable and in its unregistered form - its free .
I know no italian but even I got the last sentence *smile*. Im english - we tend to speak one language - English. Foreign languages are generally coped with using the 'speak english slowly and loudly' method. *sigh* its embarrassing sometimes.

looks to me like you are reffering to missing HardSPL for HDMini,
that ROMs cooking/porting would be much more easier and releases
will be much more stable unlike current situation when using SSPL.
