Is there any way? Handy is from t-mobile but the branding sucks !
Thx
if you're not going to flash a cooked rom, it will not void your warranty.
if you use Hard-SPL, you will loose your warranty BUT...
How to flash stock SPL back for warranty purposes:

hi. I have a t-mobile wing. is this rom (RUU_Atlas_TMO_US_4[1].10 .531.3_4.1.13.37_02.83 .90_Ship.zip) an official release from t-mobile? or will it void the warranty? do u have to cid unlock the phone before flashing? anyways, is this rom an improvement over the rom the wing was released with? does it solve the lack of program memory problem? one last question.. if i'm not happy with this rom, is there a link for the stock rom the wing comes with?
thanks,
its not an improvement, it'll just bring ya phone back to the way as if it was brand new
it doesnt void warranty as its an official tmobile RUU
dont have to CID unlock, again cause of ^
doesnt solve any problems except a failed rom upgrade.
Hello everybody. I would like to know if it is possible to return the original CID and SPL so that i can send the phone to the warranty (problem with the vibrator ). Is there anyway to do it? I already drew back the original ROM and Radio. Thanks in advance
Hello,
my display stoped working today and i wanted to send the Phone to the HTC support because its still in the time of warranty.
Now i wonder if flashing onyx rom for example breaks the warranty and if i need to flash spl and ipl and rom back to official.
any idea?
yes the best is if you bring your device back to manufacturer status, ie. you flash back with orignal ROM, radio, spl, etc etc
you should be able to find them somewhere in this forum
good luck.
Hey.
I've a question. After flashing can I revert to the original ROM so if any kind of problem happen I can send it back to void?
Thanks
no there is no hidden backup of the rom it came with behind it all you can revert back to
when you change to rom you change it for good
but that don't mean you can't flash the rom it came with
over the custom rom you changed to
a rom is a replacement and works both up and down
So, that's meens that I can just go to HTC website and download the updated ROM from there (As I did some weeks ago) if I need to revert to original, right?
Another question: Does HardSPL invalidate my void?
My phone is running the O2 stock ROM 1.43 and i want to flash my phone and get 1.48 ROM will this void my warranty?

If O2 have a stock 1.48 rom then you can flash it without voiding your warranty. If you have to flash HardSPL to flash a stock 1.48 rom then yes it will void your warranty.
However you can always flash back a stock rom and SPL if you need to send it back if you do want to flash HardSPL.
