I would like to create an Application but i need to know where to find the different places in the registry database:
From a Qtek S200 (WM 5.0)
1) Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Add a new Modem connection (ISP) > Enter a name for the connection
2) Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Add a new Modem connection (ISP) > Select a modem
3) Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Add a new Modem connection (ISP) > Site 2 > Acces point name
4) Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Add a new Modem connection (ISP) > Site 3 > USername
5) Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Add a new Modem connection (Work Network) > Enter a name for the connection
6) Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Add a new Modem connection (Work Network) > Select a modem
7) Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Add a new Modem connection (Work Network) > Site 2 > Acces point name
8) Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Add a new Modem connection (Work Network) > Site 3 > USername
9) Start > Messaging > Menu > MMS Configuration > Servers > New > Servername
10) Start > Messaging > Menu > MMS Configuration > Servers > New > Gateway
11) Start > Messaging > Menu > MMS Configuration > Servers > New > Server adresse
12) Start > Messaging > Menu > MMS Configuration > Servers > Set As Default

Hello,
I have a storage drive with data on it that I want to be able to access from my HD2 but sadly I can't get it to connect. I have connected to the WiFi successfully and have the expected network address but I can't get it to connect. I have tried the following:
1. Go to file explorer
2. Menu > Go To > Open Path
3. New Path
4. \\dm105
5. I also tried \\IPADDRESS
I guessing the problem is due it being attached to a Windows 7 machine. Does anyone have any idea how to make it work? My windows XP box can connect to the drive no problem...
With \\IPADDRESS it says that network resource cannot be found. With \\DM105 it says my connection settings are missing but then I don't know what to do...
I get exactly the same problem, I'd expect at least a login prompt!
This may solve the problem
- Go to Settings -> All Settings (to get the original Windows Setting) -> Connections -> Wi-fi -> Click on Wireless Network -> Choose your network for the list -> change 'Connects to': from 'internet' to 'Work'.
Try to connect again from file explorer.
Good Luck
Hi All!
After a hard reset (WM 6.1 prof) I've imported a GPRS connection via a registry file.
It is working fine after the first manual connection, but does not connect automatic, right after a soft reset.
Once again:
Hard reset -> import .reg -> soft reset -> go to "Manage existing connections" -> it is connecting.
But I need a connection without user interaction. So I'd like to create a small console application (WM 6.1, CF2.0, C#, VS2008) which connects to "My connection" (for example):
Hard reset -> import .reg -> soft reset -> My liitle application -> it is connecting.
I've tried the followings:
1. make a webrequest - does'nt work
2. run iexplore.exe with an URL - does'nt work
3. registry hacking (diff before an after connecting) - doesn't work
(Anyway 1 and 2 works after I connect first and then disconnect.)
Sorry, if there's a trivial solution and about my english.
Best regards
