My Dash 3G seems to be randomly turning itself off. The battery is full too when it happens. Anybody else having this problem?
I've had this happen a few times too, with the keypad definitely locked.
Any fixes for this?
I had this too, easy but annoying fix:
Turn your phone off, remove MicroSD and turn on, wait untill the phone has fully booted up and then put microsd back in
That should solve your problem
Phone turning off
My Dash 3G has also tunrned off on its own a few times but it was becasue the phone was bumped and the battery lost contact-

Few months ago I broke the screen of my Qtek9100 and bought a faulty 02 MiniS. The screen version where different so I replaced the whole sliding part and all was fine. About a week after the phone started to restart when I send sms (not all the time). Now it's started to switch off when it feels like, i mean, i leave it on standby and i find it switched off.
Anyone had this problem and knows how to solve it?
Same here, battery shows more then 80%, it just switches off, upon restart it wont even pass the startup screen. When connected via usb, no problem.
Battery issue?
mine does not seem to be a battery issue as once switched off/restarted (automatically) it boots back normally
Hey Ive got two really annoying problems I was wondering if anyone had a fix or can tell me my phone is falty. And if they have tried the "leaked" froyo has it been fixed so I dont have to send of my phone.
1. Sometimes when I turn off my phone, when I try turning it back on it appears with the loading circle for a few seconds and then turns off again, I cant get my phone to turn on again until I charge it or connect it via usb then when the battery symbol is on press the power button.
2. USB connected on the notification bar when it isnt connected
1) the phone went into full shutdown, if you see that battery charging screen
2) definitely a defective phone, take it back to the store for an exchange, it should not be doing that at all

Thanks I will get it sorted but #1 happens when i have quite a lot of battery , When I shut down to say restart it wont turn back on.
that's is another reason why it's not good, it should not be doing that (defective)
when it goes to sleep mode, it should not turn off completely
on a normal phone, when it goes into sleep m ode, you can still charge the phone, without the battery bar thing showing up
Ok thanks yer if you havnt heard of it I better get it sorted quickly I should be still in the 28 day period so should eb a straight swap thanks.

I've had these issues also, its not because its a defective phone. Just bugs somewhere. I only had them on a certain firmware, no idea which one now but flashing to a new firmware and resetting the phone and they have both gone.
I use to get the usb connected continuosly cycling as if i was connecting it and then unplugging it etc etc even though of course it wasn't even plugged in.
I'd simply just reflash the phone or reset it, bet it will fix it.
There are so many little bugs in these firmware versions.
Has anyone had an issue where the phone just shuts down? Mine has done this about 3 times after it has been on for over 5+ hours it just turns off... Doesn't restart.
Sometimes I can hold the power button and it turns back on starting at the HTC screen, other times I have to take out the battery and then power it back on.
Does anyone know what would cause this? Or how to fix it? Should I exchange my phone?
Thanks!

Mine did this due to the batter being lose. I was able to rock the batter on the lower left corner when the back was off. After I wiggled the battery, sd, and sim around I was able to get rid of the rocking and the battery was secure. You should check for this.
Thanks for the quick responce. I just cheched, everything seems very snug. I took SIM, Battery, And SD Card out and reinserted them.. I should know tomorrow if it fixes it, seems to do it once a day or so...
If anyone else has ideas please let me know... If it continues I need to get it relaced before my 14 days.
Just exchange your phone. Its not supposed to do that.

This evening I experienced the problem where the phone is frozen with the screen off and does not respond to any button presses for the first time. When I removed the battery so I could restart I noticed that the SD card holder had unlocked and was popped up. I know my G1 would hang and/or reboot when a bump caused my SD card to pop loose, so maybe the same thing is happening with the G2.
Hmm, very weird as I haven't had any problems with it doing this, like above stated, I'd just return the phone over something like that, it happens.
I have the Bell version of this phone. I received it last week and I love it so far. The biggest issue that I have with this phone is that it will not stay off.
If I turn the phone off by holding the power button, it shows that it is turning off. 20 seconds later, the LG splash screen shows up and the phone powers back on by itself.
If I run it until the battery dies, I connect it to the charger, and a few seconds later I see the battery indicator. Without fail, within 40 seconds the phone powers back up on its own.
I have done a hard reset, and reinstalled everything and it doesn't help. Is this a quirk of this phone? Is there a fix that anyone knows of? I would really like the phone to remain off when I turn it off.
Sorry to hear you have this problem. I have not experience this problem with my phone.
Mine won't stay off if the power cord is plugged in.
So it can't charge while powered off (this is something I used to do to "re-calibrate" the battery on my Kaiser since WM6.x used to get in the way of the charging).
It could be that your USB port is damaged somehow to make the phone think that the power is plugged in?
That's about all I could think of... I find this behavior really aggravating.
My device fails to remain switched on. After some while it switches off. Sometimes it seems something like turning on wifi toggles it but not sure. I have tried both soft and hard factory reset but still there was no use. It heats up a lot due to continuos loop of on/off. But when I switch it on, it is not completely switched on and somewhat stops in the middle of the process. It turns on only when I connect to a charger but within half an hour It heats up a lot. The battery is not drained when I switch it on. Also when once switched off it does not switch on on its own. So, i feel its not a hardware issue. Can you guide me regarding the problem with my device-LG Google Nexus 4.
My device when on stand by mode works fine but as soon as i start working on it it switches off. Like as soon as i turn my wifi on on handset it switches off. When I try to switch it on it is stuck in the middle of the process and i am unable to switch it on. Later when I connect it through a charger It does get turned on but heats up very quickly in half an hour, I have tried both soft and hard factory reset. When the phone switches on the battery level is same as that before it was switched off. I feel it is not just simply power key issue or power drain issue.
