E-mail Loading Error - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

I am having two Cingular 8125s with me. One of them running Windows Mobile 5 & the other one is Windows Mobile 6.
My question is, after I configure the e-mails setting on my 8125, I receive mails like I normally do with my Black-Berry. But after few moments the e-mails updating stucks and not like my Black-Berry it upload with some delay, like I get yesterday's mails today & today's mails tomorrow.
So,what can i do with this matter???

Only 1 out of my 2 email accts retrieves new email messages?

Hello guys,
Currently I have an HP Ipag h6315 running Windows Mobile 2003. I have setup 2 emails account on my PDA ( Gmail & Bellsouth ).
I set both accounts to connect and retreive new messages every 2 minutes; however, only the account "checked" under ACCOUNTS will be the one that connects and retreive the email messages.
Shouldn't both accounts connect every 2 minutes and get new messages?
for example:
- If i go to inbox, it'll default to the inbox of whatever account i have checked under "accounts". if i check bellsouth, i'm able to see my messages from my bellsouth email address; however, after i close it and go back to the today screen, then only "Bellsouth" will connect and get new emails every 2 minutes.
- If i want Gmail to be the one to connect the every 2 minutes then i would have to go to inbox and check Gmail in order to gmail to be the one to connect every 2 minutes.
I dont know if that's the way its supposed to be, since i have set the option to connect every 2 minutes on both accts.
If anyone knows of this issue and happens to have a solution for it, i really appreciate it. Or perhaps is just a non-fixed bug.
thank you in advance,
Will V.
Unfortunately I think it's a bug in the Universal. I've been dealing with this problem since I got my Universal several months ago. Originally I thought it was a Windows Mobile 2005 problem, but I've had confirmation from several Wizard users (which is also WM2005) that their devices will check multiple accounts automatically.
For the time being I've gotten used to making sure my universal is always on my most important account and simply switching to my other account and manually checking it periodically. I'm hoping that this will be fixed in the next ROM upgrade.
Brett
Same problem for me in my Qtek 9000. Only the "active" account cheks mail automatically, no the others accounts. I´m asking for the solution in several forums but no possible. I think is a problem on WM5.
Actually it might be a problem with both WM3 (what i'm using) and WM5 (what you guys are using) kind of sucks to be having to switch in between accts in order get your new messages... if that's the case, that's a quality that the blackberrys will always outperformed the Windows mobile devices.
I'm sorry Will, I misread your first message. I believe it's a known issue in WM2003... it was supposed to be fixed in Wm2005, but there are still problems with the universal, at least.
Brett
I have the same issue.
Its a Pocket Outlook issue, as when I bought and switched to WebIS Mail, there wasnt an issue anymore. Works like a dream, no issues w/ it EVER and wil try to use wifi instead of gprs if you are on a wireless network, giving you a good speed burst w/ the universal...
Still on Pocket Outlook...is it possible to have a 'replay to' address specified for an e-mail account?
I can see that webIS Mail has the opiton but couldn't find it on Outlook.
thanks,

Windows Live Mobile Push Mail

I installed a custom WM6.1 rom on my 8525 and also installed Windows Live Mobile but push mail wasn't working on Windows Live so I went back to WM6 thinking that WM6.1 isn't ready and only to find out that push mail isn't working on WM6 for Windows Live either.
So I am wondering if Windows Live is having issue and it wasn't the ROM all long? Anyone experiencing problem with Windows Live push email?
I know all the settings and I do have "As Item Arrive" set but I still have to manually sync to get my emails.
Right now I am running Windows Live Mobile version 10.6.0034.0800 and wonder if there a newer one out there?
I am also running exchange push email which works fine with no problem and I had both working exchange and hotmail push email working in the past but the hotmail push email just stopped working like 2 week ago or so for me.
Thanks
Bill
My email is hit and miss. Sometimes it comes automatically, sometimes it doesn't
Windows Live Push
How was your battery life when using 'As Items Arrive'? Mine was not too good since it had an always on connection similar to Exchange. I wonder which taxes the battery more out of the two?
thx
I'm having the same issue, Mail isnt being pushed from my hotmail to the phone... it did work originally but not anymore.
Any fixes for this yet?

Same problem with same Windows Live version as in post #1
Count me in too. I thought it was only me. It is totally hit or miss on a schedule as well. I have had it at 15 and 30 minute intervals too, and it is not getting the new mail 95% of the time.
Me to
Same here, I guess it stopped about three-four days ago. Up to then it was working fine and I was well impressed
I believe the only way the push mail works is if you are signed into your mobile messanger as well. If you are not there is no exchange session on your phone open. Live mail doesn't work through poutlook's normal exchange system it works on its own. It is pushing mail through its system at all times. Where you are logged in is where you will receive it. Consider your PPC or SP another login location like your desktop, laptop etc.. if you are not logged into messanger it won't work.
Just give it a try and see what you get.
Thanks,
Curious G
Push Mail will start working once you start Messenger Mobile (you don't have to sign in, just start the program). After that you can close it again. Alternatively, you could open Windows Live or click on "Send and Receive" in Messaging > Hotmail.
Battery time with As Item Arrives is OK, it consumes about 1% per hour on my HTC Touch Cruise. I have WM6 with Windows Live Mobile version 10.6.0034.0800.
Push Mail works fine but stopped working for me when I checked my emails with Outlook. This happened as soon as I signed into my account with Outlook Connector. To fix Push Mail again I had to
- Close Outlook,
- Sign in at Live Mail via Internet Explorer and
- Sign out again
Getting emails from hotmail via Outlook Pop3 works fine.
Hope this helps

Hmm. This really shouldn't be the case, as Live Services gets installed as a Startup Process when you do an install. As long as that process starts correctly when your phone starts, you should remain "signed in" to all Live services, including push mail...right?

I tried several soft resets and send test emails from outlook to my hotmail account but never received any of them on my phone until I opened a live application. I remained signed in after opening and closing any live applications, but unfortunately, they dont seem to start automatically. I had problems installing Windows Live on my phone, maybe that's why.
This made it work again
signing out and back in again - resetting all the settings - urgh - started working again.
found in another thread that if you have soft reset your device this stops it working
I don't use Windows Live, buy my push email works on my Mogul. I have my gmail account being fowarded to a free exchange server mail2web, and have that setup via ActiveSync. I have it set to as they arrive and don't have any problems. Battery life isn't too bad considering I don't get more than 15-20 emails a day usually
Maybe you could try something like that?

Chaging outlook send/receive interval to 2 minutes

Hi,
I have just updated to a windows 6.5 htc diamond2(htc pure) phone and previously i was using htc mda III with windows 5. My rom is default offical rom by at&T.
I am facing 2 problems regarding automatic sending/receiving of emails using new outlook on window 6.5(htc diamond2):
1) I cannot enter send/receive time interval into an input box as there is no option for this and i have to select the time interval only from dropdown list, which include send/receive Every 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 1 hr , 1 day and so on.. But i want to use outlook with automatic send/receive every 2 minutes and this option is not there is dropdown list of new outlook. Previously in windows 5 , there was a input box in outlook settings where we can ourself enter a numeric value for setting the time interval in minutes after which phone automatically send /receve mail. So any idea how to add send/receive every 2 minutes option in dropdown list of outlook in windows 6.5?
2) Previously when my phone display goes off(maybe phone goes in sleep/standby mode) after few secs of non usage the automatic send/receive part of outlook was still working in background and i use to get email message even when phone was in pocket , but in windows 6.5 i have to tap and wake the phone up manually and then automatic send/receive will work if the phone is awake. So automatic send/receive will not get emails when phone is in sleep/standby mode. This seems to be a big problem it was not there in windows 5. Any idea how to resolve this part?
It seems to me that window 5 was better in regards to above to 2 points. can we install windows 5 on htc diamond 2 ?
Any help in rectifying the above problem will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
can anyone plz help with this
can one plz help with this, is there any registry changes that can modify this?
Thanks

Push Internet delivers when the e-mail hits the server, why set it to 2 minutes? What is the purpose?

Push Internet has nothing to do with this. All it does is refreshing the content of your HTC Sense bookmarks.
Back to the topic: I wonder what was your battery life with every 2 minutes of checking the emails, 5 minutes are more than enough IMHO. If not satisfied, try switching to some push mail solution, bad news is that the only officially supported stuff is MS Exchange (which is not free). Other alternatives don't seem to be stable and, you can't rely on them.
I use WM 6.5 myself on my Topaz and the problem you mentioned about not getting the emails while in sleep mode doesn't seem to be present. My emails arrive all the time, in a 30 minute interval (just like I set it). This seems to be a reg tweak made by ATnT or something. I suggest you to reset your device to factory settings and if it doesn't help, simply switch to another ROM. I use the Dutty's Holy Grail and I'm very satisfied. Contains the latest Sense from HD2 and runs pretty fast and reliably.

Yes, you're right, what I meant was Push Mail, through gmail as exchange server.
I do not set my device up to check at intervals, it gets pushed to my device when the e-mail hits the google server.

Outlook Mobile/Active Synch, and Exchange 2003?

Hey all...back before I gave up on the stock ROM for the T-Mobile HD2 my email worked flawlessly through the phone connecting to our Exchange 2003 server in the office. Since I've been running the new custom ROM's, which appear to be running a newer version of Outlook, the emails tend to be a bit sketchy.
Seems like all NEW emails are coming through fine, but when I tweak settings to add in other folders, or select MORE history i nthe emails...instead of 3 days, took it to 1 month of emails...when that didn't work, told it to give me all emails, yet it has only pulled in 7 or so emails from today and nothing older than that. If I do a send and receive, it give me a counter at the bottom, saying it is synching ***/18,000 emails, and seems to run right up to where it finishes, says synch complete and successful, but nothing.
Just wondering with the newer outlook if there is a glitch with Exchange 2003, maybe a patch that needs to be installed on the server side. Won't be updating that server til closer to the end of the year.
Any thoughts?

Emails (Gmail & Other mails downloading) but not showing on HD2

Hello,
I'm on HD2 and since i installed Andriod Mdeejay_FroYo_Revolution_v._1.4, all my emails are gone.
When i press send receive button, it shows that its downloading headers for new mails in the progress bar and tells the no. of headers it is downloading, but then no mails are visible.
I reinstalled the ROM, it started downloading mails back again but as soon as i booted into andriod and bacnk to windows all the mails dissapeared.
Although i am able to send emails using the same device but even the sent mails are visible only on pc, HD2 doesnt shows anything.
OK, i reinstalled the ROM 4 times now and confirmed that this problem starts appearing only after installing android, if there is no adroid installed the mail in windows works perfect. I can download, see and send mails normally. And as soon as i install Android and boot back into windows, hit send/receive button first time and all mails they go away when it updates the headers.
It downloads the mails also send them from my T mobile HD2 but does not shows them.
Any help/suggestions here?
I have tried the following 2 versions of Android:
1. cmyFroYoMooStone.Bluetopia.v.0.6.1
2. Mdeejay_FroYo_Revolution_v._1.4
