Today i updated to Miris newest Test rom but 20 minutes later i flashed back to EnergyRom "leo". I tried to configure my Direct Push with GMail but it doesn´t work anymore. It always says: "Your password is incorrect. Please update your password to continue synchronizing." Error Code:0x85010002.
I did 2 Hard Resets, flashed to my stock rom and tried it. Can´t get it to work.
Now after 4 Flashs im back on EnergyRom and i am at the and of my knowledge. Or the Google Service is Down or something is going wrong with my HD. Anybody an explenation?
Edit: i even changed my password 2 times and doesn´t work. But can easily go into my Gmail account.
Edit2: Found out in the Google Help Forum that iam not the only one with this password issue on WM6. So maybe it isn´t because of the Rom update... It is just crazy because it worked all the last days without any problem and today with the Rom Change it stopped working. Frustrating...
Same with Exchange
Any resolution to this? I have the same problem since flashing to Miri.
With the stock ROM it has been working with Exchange OWA for more than a year, but after flashing it impossible to get to work again.
I have tried Miri, Energy, Balaij and all sorts of ROMs but the result is the same: 0x85010002
With my PC it working like normal, and OWA is working as normal. But on my Blackstone it just went dead. I have even flashed back to the stock ROM from HTC but it is still not working? I am at the end of ideas...

Hi all, i have been having a very bazaar problem lately...When my phone boots up i get a pop-up message indicating that the gapps process shutdown unexpectedly...and sometimes i may even get a acore crash too. Applications from the market do not download...when i select my download i will end up getting a gapps crash and then the supposed download just sits there saying "starting...". Google talk doesn't even open! It will just say that the process quit unexpectedly. Even after a fresh install with factory data reset all these problems will continue. The initial boot up screen/tutorial will even show a gapps crash. I have tried with 3 different versions of cyanogenmod all with the exact same problem..Each version i've tried with a2sd enabled and disabled, formatting the partition each time before a new install to ensure no data carry-over issues. I don't know what to do. To me it seems like it make be something on googles side...but i can't for the life of me figure out whats causing these wild problems. Help would be very much appreciated.
ANDROID Market problems
I've recently had the same problem with the market getting stuck on "starting download". I thought it was something I modified as I'm putting together a STARGATE theme of my own based on kron2's work with this site and the theme for "Open Home" for DWANG's newest ROM. What worked for me was going back 1 restore point at a time till I found one that didn't have the problem (NANDROID backup). I also had luck with flashing DWANG's original unmodified ROM 1.17.1. I had the same problem when I flashed 1.16 ..weird. Up till 2 days ago I didn't have any problems changing anything in it. Others have said that they tried opening G-Talk at the same time and some how going between the 2 the problem would right itself. If you find out anything definite about what the exact problem is let me know as I'm going to keep looking for the answer myself.

I have searched and it seems many people have the Market/Gtalk problem.
I have the same problem (with an Eclair 2.1 Cyanogenmod rom) and I've not been able to find a solution. Wiping the cache makes nothing.
Anyone knows how to solve it?
Huh. I had a problem with the market at first with cyan 5.0.8 . I went in the terminal and ran fix_permissions after su and haven't had any problems since. Might try that

Hi All,
I was using a stock ROM 1.66 for about a week. All was well. Tried a few other cooked ROMs and again all was well. Have been using AxLor v5. It is a great ROM. I went to use Active Sync a couple of days ago and I cannot select anything except One Note, Files and Mobile Favourites. Phone is detected and syncs the available data without issue. Posted this on the Axlor thread 3 days ago, no reply yet. Anyway today I went back to the stock Radio and stock ROM. AS still doesn't work. Have done HR and SR. I tried someone else's cooked ROM and nada. Returned to Radio's for 576Mb and AxLor's ROM, still nothing. No AS. I have uninstalled AS aka v6.1, cleaned the registry and then installed again. Same thing, only One Note etc. After another HS I returned to AxLor v5 and Radio 206.50.23.3. Have done a Full HS using the Volume Buttons and PWR button method AND pressed the red button inside battery compartment AND using the system settings menu method. After all that Active Sync still does not work. Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
No one got any ideas here? Help me Obi Wan?
I had an issue like this and I deleted all the partnerships in active sync on the phone and resetup and it worked?>?
Oh and I had rebuilt several times and it seemd that the syn settings I think were conflicting as I was trying to syn external exchange and local pc with the same settings ... tasks I think it was
I see. Ok I will try this and post back. Thanks
Ok, all of a sudden I can't connect to gprs, worked fine this morning then stopped. Not my network as my sim works in other phones. Not my apn settings because they were working before and I tried renewing them just in case anyways. Tried hard reset and no luck. Tried recovery to a backup I made last week no luck. Extremely frustrated! Running vision Desire Z stock rom, rooted then ota updated then rooted again, but worked perfect for 2 weeks...
...any idea how to diagnose?
Finding now sometimes it's sticking at 'turning on', only gives me the 'connection failed' 3 times then just says to check here to use mobile data. If I create a new apn it tries to connect again but no luck. The phone is seeing GPRS in settings-info but just can't connect. Any log files I could look at?
Downloading the full 1.72 rom now to see if that works (rather than going back to 1.34 then the OTA upgrade) but so strange that it worked fine for a couple weeks!
*** After flashing 1.34 data didn't work for about 6 hours, then started to work. I then flashed 1.72 in full (not ota) and it continued to work. I took a backup then restored to when it was working last before the issue and it would not work so restored back to the fresh 1.72 and it is still working. Anyways, seems its jsut me...

edit: Ok now totally confused, installed 1.72 complete and still no data. Going back to 1.34 now to see what happens...
Ok, now I can't get the 1.72 to install, but that's a USB driver issue I assume...hope it works eventually!
Alright, officially even more confused. Is there a possible hardware error that can stop data from working? Back on 1.34 (still with S-off but not rooted yet) and data still doesn't work. Network swears nothing is wrong, but I just am pretty frustrated. Any kind of logging possible at all when data is trying to connect?
I recently was running jt1134's CM7 Alpha, My phone was running perfect.
Now today, I decided to revert back to stock, because I was going to trade my phone to someone. I downloaded the stock .zip file from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1046377
After flashing that, I can get everything to work, except for syncing my Google account and WiFi. I get the error saying that I am not connected to a mobile network, and that I need to try again. I've tried countless times over the past hour to do so, And not once has it been successful.
I would try on wifi, but it just so happens that WiFi doesnt work either, it will see our networks, but It will not get past obtaining an IP address. Does anyone have any input on to why this is happening?
Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I didn't know if it went in Q&A or General, so I just threw it in here. Please inform me, or just move it if I happened to be in the wrong place. Thanks in advance everyone.
Can anyone help?
I fixed it.. I flashed the debinged/debloated/rooted All-in-one package..
Hi.
My friend got her Galaxy no more than two weeks ago, and I installed the newest Darky ROM (10.1) on her phone, since it has been working fine on my own Galaxy S.
The problem is that her phone just stopped working... just like that.
She thought the battery was drained, so she charged it, and when booting it up it would remain in the samsung logo (boot screen).
Well I put it into recovery and formatted it into factory settings and thought it would be fine. Well it kinda worked: it started up to the setup wizard, choose language, insert SIM card etc. and finally when clicked the complete button, the screen stayed black and few seconds later a message came saying that there has been an error with the android setup configuration.
This is exactly the same phone as I have and mine is working perfectly fine. Dont understand why this phone is acting up.
Will re-flashing it with the same Darky ROM fix this?? The phone has got warranty, but I dont think they'll accept it anymore cause of the custom ROM I put in.
I also have a video of this, but since they assume I'm a spammer, I cannot insert any links for now.
EDIT: Problem solved --> reflashed with Darky's ROM, now working fine. Thank you both slaphead20 & MasterJam882
you can try reflash...or darkys ressurection...or ezbase rom
Just flash an official rom from www.samfirmware.com.
If u still have bugs and errors u know it's a faulty phone and u can send it to samsung without the fear that they wont accept because its an official ROM every user gets over KIES.
