can anyone help me to find how to enable contacts touch scrolling for Windows 6.1 like the same experince in 6.5 and Iphone?

You can use resco contact manager v2.0. it also includes for SMS and gives u much more.
I upgraded to a great Version of 6,5 for Trinity and i have the great features now but missing to have the list of photo contacts I used to have before

Since I got my Touch Dual I haven't really installed any apps on it at all. Do you guys have any recommendations of Software to install? I'm not really into games, but any cool, geeky, or useful stuff would be great..
I'd like to have Adobe Flash Player LIte 3, but no way to find it....

Hi mini_man,
Can you help me with the phone skin, I saw you used the HTC Dialer Skin, I read here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311557, that there were some problems, using alot of memory and no video calling and loosing the G & 3G top icons and uninstall problems, I am not concerned about the Video calls as I never do them and I hate the touch Dual standard phone interface, I just want the normal clean looking interface. Are you having any problems with yours and where did you get it? THanks.

This one works fine and has video etc. It was taken from the the HTC Touch Dual Rom.

Ok, I installed the dialer and there is no change for me, I still have the same Touch Dual Dialer, am I doing something wrong.

which version do u have? mine don't seems to work on the changing of soft keys

you might be able to skin the windows mobile dialer to look like the android one, but it will never be as fast as android in terms of dialing and responsiveness. i say never in the scope of windows mobile 6.1 - who knows what 6.5 and 7 and 8 will be

I don't like manila / TouchFLO / Sense. I use SPB Mobile Shell and I'm quite contempt with that. I'm on WM 6.1 -would there be any reason for me to move to WM 6.5? I mean in terms of functionality?

No reason at all really, SPB Mobile Shell hides the interface of WM6.1 very good and you hardly see it. WM6.5 is laggy and unstable imo so I will stay with 6.1 for a while..

No worries dude, if it can run WM6.5+HTC Sense 2.5/2.6 it will 100% run SPBMS without problems.
i think manila is much better than spb
spb shell 3.5 and wm6.5
i am using spb shell 3.5 with wm 6.5 for a couple of weeks without any problems.
The improvement of wm6.5 which is more finger friendly than 6.1. Is a better match for MS3.5.
Athorwise it doesn't matter much, what you use, because you're using MS3.5 most of the time.
You have to manually disable HTC Sense. Without third party applications they don't work well together.
I use tfd detacher to switch between them, but the downside is that it uses a lot of resources.
HTC Sense looks nicer but MS3.5 is more flexible and efficient when you design the lifestyle screen(s) to your needs.
I haven't tried wm 6.5.
From what I learn about the information of wm 6.5, I don't find anything that worth upgrading. I will stick to wm 6.1.

I have installed SBP Mobile Shell 3.5 over my WM 6.1 and it works great .
I like below features of Mobile Shell:
- Multiple pages in home page (placed side by side), which can be used for multiple items in home page.
- Beautiful scrolling/touch.
- Widget features that can be placed anywhere in home page (in all pages).
There are couple of issues too:
- There is NO interface for making calls to a new number.
- We need to use the Luncher - Programs - Phone.
- But the other features of the call window does not work. Like we cant open the call history/contacts etc from that screen

You can press the call button or you can add the phone as an widget.

Yes I know that and that is what I said in the post.
It does work by pressing the call key or adding the widget of the Phone too.
But the issue is:
- Other functions on the call window (like the opening contacts during call) etc does not work .
I am not sure how offen you open you contacts during a call. Which is NOT possible when you have SBPMS installed . Similarly there are many other issues too.

Indeed the functions on the call menu work only when touchflo3d is activated.
I think the shortcuts go to the actual touchflo3d.
Maybe there is a registry change so you can point them to the actual program and not to the touchflo3d alternative.
My workaround is press Startmenu - Today and from here anywhere you want.
You can read about this problem in the SPB shell forum under Topaz/Rhodium Dailer issue. They know the problem. The question is why is takes so long to come with an answer.

Yes. That is TRUE. It does work when TF3D is ON.

Ohh OK. Thanks for this info. Infact I did a post in their fourum, but no reply yet.
May be we need to wait for 6.5 from HTC for TD2 and may be that will be more user / finger friendly.
But it is sure that it will NOT have the beautiful Multiple Pages in Home Page .
Or a newer version from SBP with a Phone/Call widget similar to default dialer.
PS: also I found the image viewer from camera menu is much better in default WM 6.1 than SBPMS.

Mobile Shell 3.5 is slooooow
I was extremely happy with 3.0 and decided to upgrade to 3.5. I like some of the extra features a lot but I quickly noticed that this eye candy has two major drawbacks:
- My battery drained twice as fast, reminding me of my Diamond 1
- The - otherwise very attractive - GUI is slower; opening the Wireless Manager takes 1.5 seconds and other operations that were very swift before were now slow and shaky
So I reverted to 3.0 (I have build 6501) and things are again what they were before: fast and beautiful!
I don't experience any decrease in speed jumping from 3.0 to 3.5
And my battery life improved
So I guess there must be different effects on different ROMs, settings or other stuff...
I think the Windows Default (Zune-esque) interface for WM 6.5 is pretty neat, however, is there a way to customize (move/add/delete) the home screen list (Music, etc...)
There's an app in Windows Marketplace called "Home Screen Customizer" that does this.
There is also an entire forum on xda dedicated to this here. Search for "Showaco Chome Editor".
Facebook Help please...
Great thanks for the link, I have the ZuneHD and I want my phone to be just like it! I did search the forums/freeware but I cannot find a good .cab that will allow sync between facebook and tp2 and show updates like TF3D if I had a good contact program that could do this I wouldn't need TF3D!
Also was I the only one to notice that once you upgrade to 6.5 you lose the ability to sync birthdays?
So basically I need a cab that syncs birthdays and pics with facebook... like TF3D on the TmoUS stock TF3D ROM oh yeah and has a favorites screen.
Do I ask for too much... I am rather picky but who customizes and is not?
I have a Samsung Omnia Pro B7610, which is a fantastic machine, but it seems to be missing a few features which my old Touch pro had. But maybe it's me that's missing something! Perhaps someone knows...
I had the Touch Pro running on a Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM - can't remember the name of it though. I'd disabled Touch FLo 3D and was using SPB Mobile Shell 3 as my UI - much better than anything else! I'm also using SPB Mobile Shell on the Omnia Pro B7610, and have disabled the Omnia's UI. The Omnia uses WinMo 6.5 (factory installed.) These are the features the Omnia Pro seems to be missing:
1) Keyboard shortcuts for cut, copy and paste. There's no control key so no shortcuts! Anyone know if I'm missing something?
2) Text messages displayed as conversations, not as individual texts. I can't find a setting to control that, but the Touch Pro displayed them as conversations, so I'd expect (and like) the Omnia to do so to, but it doesn't.
3) The items in the Media Player menus, especially the media library, are too close to each other to be selected by thumb-clicking. On the Touch Pro, after upgrading it to WM6.5 the items in the list were more spread out - double spaced perhaps - so they could be more easily selected.
If anyone can be bothered to read this post (!) and happens to know the answers I'm looking for, I'd be really grateful. Thanks!

This can be changed by almost any tweaker like Advanced Config 3.x or SMS Tweak (I don't have Omnia Pro yet so I assume it uses standard WM messaging)
