Hi everyone;
hope you doing all good. SO there's my question. I'm curious to know if there is a way to show the tasks days by day. Like in the HTC Calendar for exampe.
It would be easier for me to use my task then.
Or any apps to do that?
Have a good day.

is there any software which can totally replace the windows mobile 6 calendar / notes system?
as the calendar/notes etc installed on my phone currently never save when trying to add a new one
TIA
why doesn't the informations save? most programs seem to still use the pim information and re-organize it...todayagenda is a good one, imo.

I second today agenda. But it will not resolve your issue. Neither will other software.
1. What Rom and device do you use?
(i know it's the wizard forum but these days you never know)
2. Have you performed a clear storage?
3. Have you tried a clear storage and then exiting when the customisation starts?
4. .............................
i changed to a different rom and the calendar now works ok

Have you notified the Chef of the ROM build about the calendar issue?
SPB Diary is another brilliant tool for diary, notes, tasks etc...
yeah i tried spb diary but it still wouldnt save any new items
ive posted the problem in the chefs thread but no one replied and also the thread didnt have anyone else mention it so i assumed it was a issue relating to my device or flash but i find the rom i have now works flawlessly so all good
That's why myself i'm sticking with NBD Rom from Zoki.
He reads the thread and regularly updates.
Enjoy you new ROM, but it's still weird that it didnt interact with the calendar.
Hi, I have been searching for this for a few days now and cannot find anything.
is there a software out there that lets you schedule you notifications ?
i like my to hear a sound when I get new mail but I hate to wake me up in the middle of the night
thanks
my device: HTC TOUCH (VOGUE)
wow, can't believe tis is not in demand...I guess I'm weird...

hm, just thought about this...wouldn't that mean that before going to sleep I would have to chage the profile on my phone ?
if yes, that is not what I'm looking for...I need something that I can set and forget about.
anyone else ?
phonealarm has got scheduled profiles.
I also want something which can disable the sound of email notification at night - without all the other features - just simply configure so between specific hours, no audio notification is given.
I tried 3 different profile apps I found on this forum (with google search), and I found this one to work the best for me:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353586
Hope it helps
For my setup, I only have active sync and windows live sync up to midnight and then from 7am in the morning.
Someone mentioned PhoneAlarm...there's also AlarmPal from the same site, which notifies you of an email/SMS/MMS/missed calls etc.. repeatedly until you do something about it (or as many times as you tell it to!); it has the option to define the time period - start and end - for when it should be active.
I used to use it on my Hermes, but have never gotten around to installing it on my Kaiser; I used to have it set to be active from 06:00 to 23:59 which worked well.
It's not free, but it's pretty darn cheap
Cheers,
Mark.
I really find it un-user-friendly
Im always going week-day-month-year over and over again.
can anyone suggest something decent please?
standard windows mobile. and i have to say .. its ba far the most powerfull calender i met. works basicly exactly like the outlook one does.
whats the problem???
I find Pocket Informant to be the best. Worth the money!
I've found SBSH Calendar Touch to be the best for light usage, pocket informant has many more advanced features though.
Can pocket informant preset reoccuring events so i dont have to enter starttime, endtime, category ect. everytime?

well i find its not very easy to navigate. for example if im looking for when my mates wedding is and i know its in january, i have to go through all the dates, when im wrong, then press day week month 3 times to get back to month try again....
i just do not find it user-friendly at all. i think the calendar on my old w810i was much better.

You can just choose the month or other look from the menu, without pressing all over again.
I'm happy I can have so many views.
IT IS one of the best calendars out there.
BTW if you look for somethin', just use Search app.
Get ThumbCal. It's seriously good stuff! Looks good too.

I like Google Calendar. Can that be put on the X1?

I think you can still find the free version of thumbcall .(it`s an old version but it works fine on the xperia try freeware site)
Still haven't found a decent free one. I just don't feel like paying a lot for a function that should be good in the first place.
depends on the point of view ... i like it alot and dislike most of the other calenders which are available.

Yep. You can use oggsync to sync google calendar with your winMO calendar. It works like a charm. never had any trouble with it.
I have many reoccurring events like soccer practices and my job (only in the weekends) and it handles those perfectly.
In an attempt to turn this topic into something a bit more informative;
Here's the summary of beforementioned calendar applications, these are all paid.
- Pocket informant
- Thumbcal (personal favourite)
- SBSH
- Google calendar
---
Now my problem is that these all cost 15~30 bucks which is just a bit too much imo.
Thing to keep in mind that they must be able to work with WVGA.
Who knows some more nice calenders we can try out?

Is there anybody who can recommend a good stopwatch program?
Maybe SPB Time
Try SPB Time! Of course its not free but it provides several stopwatches, timers and alarms.
At freeware pocket PC
is a great kaldma.se stopwatch.
It's great, has 10 split times and looks greta.
It's also free!!!!
I will try Spb Time, thanks for the help .

I like G-Watch, I make 5-minutes-eggs in the morning with it
www.ageye.de
I prefer TimeKeeper myself, it looks nice, performs well, and has god knows how many different functions. I think I had about 10 stopwatches running at the same time. Didn't half slow down the phone. I don't use it now mind you because I have SPB Time, it's not as good in functionality but still acceptable.
Hello everybody, I used to be a long user of SPB Finance to keep track of my personal expenses but ever since I "moved" to HTC Leo, the nightmare began. Does anybody know a Finance program finger friendly and to be used with my Leo? I searched the forums for a solution but with no luck so far. Pls help!
I tried Adrian Money and it is ok for me
Same problem, now use CashOrganizer from Inesoft - works fine, sync with MsMoney.
Is any of above mentioned programs able to import txt or csv files? I stopped using Quicken since it uses some weired way of importing bank transactions. At least banks in Norway do not provide QFX or OFX files for private users...

Cannot seem to find this program. Are you sure it's "Adrian Money"?
I have the same problem - long time SPB finance user and now in HD2 this application is hopeless.
I'm hoping (probably forlorne) that SPB will make it finger friendly.
Meanwhile, I'm trying this and over the holidays will test it more: http://www.sandernijdam.nl/easyexpenses/

i like easy expenses, east to use, finger friendly, and easy to see totals. just wish it had some graph modes and you could export to something besidse a .txt file like an excel or something. also the stock icon blows, had to replace it with one found on one of the icon threads.
Thank you all!
After carefully analyzing your suggestions I stopped at Adarian Money which is, in my opinion, the best so far.
I highly recommend it.
Thanks
