My brother just got a wing from one of his freinds today and we did a hard reset but cannot get any sound to come out of the phone when he is on a call. The speaker on the phone works fine, but not the regular sound. We can hear him fine on the other phone but he cannot hear us. Is there a registry hack that will increase the volume, or something we can do to make it work?

I am also having the same issue outgoing calls work just fine but not incoming. Nothing i have tried works i have flashed a new ROM to try and fix it and that didn't help. any suggestions would be great

Ive got an xda 2 and after using an unlock code from here now my phone is mute on waiting calls, ive checked everything , ive tried every possible methods but i keep getting no sound when im dialing anyone ...who ever im dialing recieves my call but they cant hear me its complete mute like theres no connection but my credits going on the other hand. is there anyone who can help please? i wished i never tried to unlock it on vodafone

So I just got my Wing off ebay, everything works fine except for the fact that when I receive or make a call, All i hear is a loud static/rumbling sound, and me and the person Im talking to cannot hear eachother, Ive tried doing a hardreset and flashing to a custom rom but still nothing!

Wonder anyone got this problem, make outgoing call or incoming call, no voice from
speaker. But if I press "Speaker On" during call I can hear the party voice. Playing
music song playback sound ok, only during call conversation can't hear any sound.

How long is your HTC Touch ? Mine is one year+ and if yours also a year+ phone, then
I probably can confirm the Touch got this problem and phone do not last long.
Same thing started happening to my Rogers elfin. On incoming calls, my microphone won't work unless I'm on speaker phone. I can't even make outgoing calls anymore. I keep getting the message "Call Ended".
I've tried flashing my original backup ROM and several different ROMS all with no success.
Anybody have any idea how to fix this please?

Try this:
During incoming call press volume button up. This isn't a tweak, it's just the normal settings. If it doesn't work you might have a hardware issue.

Not really sure about the solution, but i have a simple work around that works on my p3400 WM6.5
1. Mute the phone (system as well as ring)
2. Restart
Ok, this is my problem, I just got the phone, did a factory reset and then I put my SIM, it gets a good signal and 4G network, I installed all my apps and everything was great, but when I tried to make a test call it seems like the call ends, I only hear the first beep and the sound is gone (but the call is still going), I cant hear the other person, they also cant hear me, I've tried Groove IP and it works great, on the earpiece, headphones, etc. both mics work great, I cant get any sound when calling using the dialer, there is a beep and the earpiece sound is gone.
I also get the "Conditional call forwarding active" pop up.
Any insight on this? :crying:
