ok im new to all this crap but skilled in computers and i was wandering if i got the i760 would i be able to make it look some thing like this?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnV7zZ6kF7s
and what kinda mods can i do?
Ok, ok, ok.
Step 1: Install S2U2, this is the locking screen, first part of vid.
Step 2: Install Ultimate Launch ($$$) or iTask or iFonz or WisBar ($$$).
Step 3: Find all the graphics and customize the way you want. Each app is fully customizable, and would be quite easy to create this theme, the only obstacle is finding all the icons to match, unless you can make. There is also a forum dedicated to changing the slider and other graphics for S2U2.
Ok i have a nother question what phone would u recumend for moding like this? im new i just want moding and music and pics and movies games n ****
remote acses so i can play games from my computer
Well I have the i760, and really like it, if your looking to fully upgrade, get an HTC, since your looking at the i760, you prob have Verizon, go with the XV6800.
and that scrolling thang hes got like the half circal that can be done?
Didn't even see that part, nobody, that I know of has created anything close to it.
HA! Love how this iDiot in the vid is using the PIE icon.
Install Ultimate Launch ($$$) or iTask or iFonz or WisBar ($$$).

what if i fouind a iphone theme and downloaded it its got like a folder for walpaper and back ground and dock
if i got a walpaper would u help me find what els i need?
anyone? there?
no one? lol
Whoa!! Relax, of course you'll get help, that's a big reason for the forum.
The 4 apps I mentioned will be your main launcher, just browse thru and find which you like, many many people have created launchers and themes to replicate the i****e. But it seems you don't have the phone yet, so get that first, install the different apps, and mess around a bit. Find what works fastest and fits your style. Then from there you need to find the images, background and icons.
Here's something for those who are perhaps coming over from the iPhone. You'll probably be more at ease with your device!
By the way, for the record, I just made this for fun, thinking that there are people who actually appreciates this sort of theme. I use my other theme more regularly. Please don't flame me with Apple-fanboy comments!
Note: This cab does not include the taskbar, and 1% battery driver. You may find them at the links provided. Credit to Chainfire, InsecureSpike
Instructions:
1. Install cab
2. At the soft-reset prompt, tap cancel.
3. Disable and re-enable TF3D to see the changes.
If don't like it, just uninstall. Disable and re-enable TF3D. Back to normal.
Meh, You make great stuff dude..
I use your V1.4 TF3D.. btw I'm curious about something..
Shouldn't the "Mail" and "Messages" icon be replaced with one another ?
Seems like the (a) is more suited for E-mail.. xD
Ha! I like your V1.4 TF3D more..... iphone icons?? Don't think so.... that is the reason why I bought my TP2... and not putting iphone stuff on my TP2.
Btw... Awesome work!!!

Well, I'll say this. I'm not a huge fan of the Messages icon I chose to use. I just haven't been able to find one that feels like "the one". Anyway, have a look at the other thread. I've made a poll to see what everyone thinks...

That's exactly how I feel too!
Still trying myself to get this theme thing down, Still getting all kinds of white blotches on my screen which is pissing me off but good work on the apple theme although I do hate apple still looks nice.
Wow, no love for this theme...
The download count must have set some sort of record low for most unpopular theme or something.
Don't things too hard! I love parts of your other theme, elements of that I am using on my own theme for the communications and settings tab.
Since this thread is a bit quieter, could you answer a couple of questions?
I've been using Manila Editor v.0.2 to build my theme, which is a bit trial and error since most of the manilla files are listed as unknown (eg, the program doesn't know what icon they represent) but does give you a preview of the file and allows you to change it. What do you use?
What is the correct protocol for posting a theme containing elements from others work? EG my theme would have your communications, settings (and dammit, more fiddling, now the volume part of settings! But thanks for the effort.) Should I ask each person if it's ok for me to share, post but with credits and links to the original theme or what?
Thankyou for going the extra mile on your themes and customising parts that others haven't. It really makes a difference when the phone doesn't just go back to the standard look once you leave the main pages.
Hey Steve, thanks for the consolation, I feel much better...haha!
Now, regarding your queries...
I've used Manila Editor before...back in the days when I was first bought my Touch Diamond and people were just starting to figure out how to edit manila files. But I've always found it really difficult to use and (like you said?) a lot of the files are categorized as "unknown". All in all, this app is pretty outdated and I don't believe it's being developed anymore.
I use Chainfire's great tool, CFC-GUI. Try it out. It should be quite easy to figure out for you.
I don't know if there's even a protocol (per se) in place for creating themes containing parts of other user's themes. I suppose it's ok if all authors are happy with it. I'll be perfectly happy with you just linking back to my theme's thread.
very good,wo like it!!!
Jus browsin the newly updated Windows phone site and found this gem:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/downloads/theme-generator.mspx#
Right now only the Pure and Imagio is listed as supported, but the themes should work with any phone thats 6.5.
Pick your color scheme and your port and land wallpaper, generate it, then send the link to your phone, or download the cab!
enjoy!
That's really nice. Thanks.
thanks hrhnick!
i can't seem to make a pure black theme.
i cant get a nice black one either
i set it up right, but it came out purple on my phone!
nice find mate..
very nice... and really easy to use...
I wish there was something similar for Manila
great!!
i have same issue as the rest...black theme
hope to fix it with this
thnx for the link
edit: why am i always getting an error-please-restart-your-browser-sorry-for-the-inconvenience-thing?
I have updated mt TP2 Website. Please check it out for all your custom slider needs.
So actually you took info and apps from all over XDA and put on that site right?
Shame no support for Rhodium original unbranded Europe model

Brent, I went to your site, and found one of your sliders that I would love to add to my ATT Tilt2. (anything to get rid of that darn blue!!!) However, I am having problems with getting it to download.. .When I click on the slider that I chose (sunrise), when it went to download it to my phone.. just a bunch of square looking things came up. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I am very new to this fancy phone of mine, LOL, so any help that you can give me would be very appriciated.

Hmmm.. not sure, but I will try it from my VZW TP2.
You can always download it to your computer and copy it over by activesync.
EDIT: I was able to download directly to my phone without issue. I was using the built in Opera to browse the site from my phone.
Thanks for t he fast response Brent!! I tried again, making sure that I was using the Opera browser, and I still got the squares. Not sure what I am doing wrong here. Ok... and I know to you guys that are used to these phones, this is going to sounds sooo silly... but.. what is activesync
ActiveSync (XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (Vista / 7) is the software you install on your computer then connect your phone to it so you can move files between the 2 or sync data
Thanks Brent.. I finally got it figuared out. So much better than the blue!!! Would you happen to have a Harley Davidson slider? And once again, thanks for all your help
no i dont but i can work on one over the weekend. check the website every couple of days for ones. harley davidson might be a tough one though as icons with black in them usually dont show up to well.
OK so I just got my TILT 2 from ATT, and I want to change the the touch flo from the att blue to another color of my choice. How is this possible?? Thanks for any help!

AFAIK, there isn't any overarching "theme" you can just plonk on your Tilt2 to change the look and feel -- I'm not saying it doesn't exist, just that I don't know about it. I, too, was not thrilled by the ATT blue, so I poked around and installed bits and bobs to get a look that makes me happy. Currently, these are the CABs I've got installed to make my device pretty:
At0mAng_LEO_SLIDER_1919.cab
C_Brians WM6.5 Taskbar gfreek editionV5b.cab
Contacts_Clock_Music_Sliders_TransparentTab.cab
DarkMetal.cab
Laser Inc. Transparent Slider.cab
Manila_Icon_Pack.cab
MobileMatt_CrystalClockWhite%5B1%5D.cab
No Curtains.cab
OluchiBackground.cab
SettingsIcons.cab
TP2-Batt.cab
clockFlipDisable_att_stock_tilt.cab
gfreek Battery Percentage Fix.cab
Search around for them, read the install instructions and all that. You're certainly in the right forum.
wow! thans for all of those I will certainly check them out!
looks cool, can you create links to those cabs and alittle discription, so I know im installing what i want?
thanks

The best way for you to know you're installing what you want is to search for these cabs (most of them in this forum, otherwise in other xda forums) and read what the developers have said about them, including installation instructions.
Sorry to appear lazy about this, but I don't have the time (nor inclination, frankly) to provide information already available by searching. Your experience will be all the richer if you take the time to figure out what you want and how to find it (i.e. how make full use of xda-developers.com).
To show how easy this is, I did take the time to search for the first CAB in the list (At0mAng_LEO_SLIDER_1919.cab -- searched with the underscores replaced by spaces and the ".cab" removed) and came up with this -- the firs link in the result set:
