Who wants to be a ROM hero?
After som research i've notices ALOT of people looking for ROM's in diffrent languages for hp 610/612/614c.
So I Suggest everybody who want a multi-language ROM reply their wanted language ex: Swedish, French, Finnish
And then maybe a ROM hero will come out and make us one
A rom that has xt9/t9 in all diffrent languages and menu's.
Pride is the first price in this, and noone can take it from you!!! EVER

Hi, i'd also love to find a french rom for my ipaq 614c, so +1 for me... where's the chief cooker ?
For the moment my PPC is running with the last WWE wm6.1 ROM with no problem, but for those who are searching for a solution for T9 in their languages, I've downloaded TouchPal v3.5... very usefull...

Hi, I would like to know how I can create a custom rom (Flash.DIO) so that I can modify Windows Startup files and decide on what software I want to have installed by default, etc...
When I applied the HP Rom Update at one stage, it modified my Rom so that every time I do a Hard Reset, it will put CustomizeEngine.lnk in the Windows startup folder and this will start auto installing software from the Extended rom which I am not interested in and then after the installation I am forced to do a soft reset (this is quite annoying).
If there is a way to fix this please explain.

The 6.1 manilla seems really good, but I'm from Sweden and want it in swedish language. English could work but swedish had been much better.
I've read the forum and i have a weak memory that I saw a thread with different languages, but now I can't find it. I thought I saw a swedish version, but maybe I'm wrong?
A swedish rom would be wonderful! I've been reading on some swedish forums also and there seems to be alot of people looking for a swedish rom.

Romanian one?
A multi-language rom would not be so hard to make, just provide a sample rom with multiple languages, or multiple roms in different languages with a same version of core. And that is the hard part. If anyone could prepare such material, there will be many heroes whom can cook the rom for all of you. Including me.

i got like 50 hp 614's here
all from different country's with different languages.
if someone can tell me how to upload like, the dump of the rom
or the language itself, i will upload every different rom i got.
so if someone could tell me how to upload a ''whole'' rom
i'd be honored i work with apple, linux, ubuntu or windows,
but i think trying this via linux will be the best way ( srry im kinda new to this)

that said, what Lukasnix posted is correct, usually the only way to change language is to reflash the ROM.

Hello,
This number you have to check by yourself. There are cab that will translate HTC Sense to Polish language. If you'll download cab, you can use it without problems. You cannot use ROM East Europe on WWE phone without "hacks".

Please, keep in mind, that this translation (no matter by cabs or "by ROM") affects only manilla itself, not windows (windows will be still in English).

I am assuming you are already on Official Android 2.2.1 and HBoot 1.01x. If that is the case, then flash this RUU:

I just have one problem... there is no other languages in the rom except arabic and english... and since I need french to write my sms... I downloaded an app called slideit... witch add an azerty keyboard and the french dictionary when writing... I have a question: does it exist an official rom supporting more languages including arabic and english?...

Not that I am aware of. As far as I know, Arabic ROMs have Arabic and English only. Your best bet is the third party keyboards, and, MoreLocale 2:
