Does anybody know if there is an application this turns on bluetooth when the phone is connected to a charger? Than I can automatically connect to my carkit when I put it in my active holder.

There are many profile apps, eg G-profile (freeware):

On my TouchPro I used SPB Phone Suite for this, on my TouchPro2 that feature doesn't work any more. Everything else (Profile change, Call blocking) works. Is the Bluetooth chip of TP2 different to TP?

Hey you guys…
I’ve got a question…
Is there an app whcich will toggle Bluetooth on when you enter the telephone function of the wizard?(ei. Press the green button) and that toggles Bluetooth on when there is an incoming call?
Then again turns blutooth off when you end the call and telephone app. :?:
Tomtom also toggles Bluetooth on when you launch the app, and it would be nice that you don’t have to manually toggle Bluetooth on when you get an ioncomming call in your car, or when you want to make a call in your car.
This way you can save battery life, because Bluetooth isn’t permanently on, and it turns on when you need it…
Is there such an app, or is this impossible….
Anybody? :?:
Maybe phonealarm can do it. It can definatly switch different profiles like home, car etc. and within the profile you can launch programs, turn on/off bluetooth/hifi

[edit] I should add that WM5 support is still in beta at the moment [/edit]
Okay, but I don't think that you cange a profile when you enter a car, because I just put the phone on a charger, and use a Jabra headset, so no professional carkit.
It would be nice if there's an app that switches bluetooth dependent on another app, not on a profile...
But I'll look into phonealarm...
Thanks, anybody else got an idea?

One reason I didn't keep phone alarm is because it didn't quite do what I was looking for. It was closer than everything else I've found, but seemed to slow my whole experience with my phone down.
Maybe someone like vijay555 might make something that'll do that.
I have got into the habbit of useing my BT headset when getting into the car and turning it off when I get out. I plug my phone into the car to keep it topped up, so using extra power isn't a problem.
Is there any possible way to repair the BT annoying thing?
I've got a Parrto BT set in my car and the tytn disconnects all the time, when I achieve the connections I cannot transfer my contacts...
Thanks for your help
Hi,
Which model of Parrot car kit is it? I use the CK3100 (the one with the LCD) and it works except for the usual TyTN switching BT off when it disconnects from the Parrot after stopping the car. Sync works fine.
Might also be worth looking in the Parrot forums at http://www.driveblue.com/
Gav.
Parrot
I also have the 3100!!
When I get into the car it doesn't recognize me. I need to go to congiguration and establish the link, the it seems that it starts to sinchronize the agenda but it doesn't!!!
Hi again.
Is there any chance you have the power cables to the Parrot CK3100 the wrong way round? If that is the case then the Parrot CK3100 will forget the pairing to your phone and you will need to re-pair everytime. The easiest way to fix this is to reverse the wires at the fuse.
Basically there are 2 wires on the Parrot Parrot CK3100, one perminent to the battery for saving the memory and the other is the ignition. When the ignition goes to 12v then the Parrot CK3100 powers on and tries to connect to the phones in its pairing memory list (upto 5).
Do you know which firmware is on your Parrot CK3100? The latest is 4.15b > it's under the Advance menu.
Gav.
Don't think so
I don't think so because it worked perfectly well with my Blackberry!
Got my TyTN yesterday (had a Wizard) and so far it works just fine with my CK3100. Syncs nice and fast and connects within 10 seconds. I did install Jetware mobile extender to make the display a little better. Haven't experienced the TyTN turning BT off yet...
Hi Pablete,
Strange. I can only suggest re-pairing and updating the Parrot to the latest firmware rev.
Hi Scott,
What advantage does Jetware mobile extender give?
Gav.
Jetware changes the "network OK" to the real network name, adds signal and battery bars, adds the phone ringtone instead of the Parrot ringtone and several other cool features.

Not completely sure I understand the question? If you meant to ask if it is possible to do voice dialing in the carkit instead of the phone then head to the voice commands menu, and in the bottom you'll find an option to change where voice commands are processed; carkit or phone.
i meant when i push the parrot green button the application voice dialer switches on on my TYTN, but no beep can be heared tru the car speakers?
with the newest cyberon voice dialler i can not confirm or redial, even if used outside the car?
Any suggestions
I trying to find out a very simple program that can turn Bluetooth on/off on a schedule.
I only use bluetooth at my car, and I'm always on my car at the same time.
Thanks
I have an app called Wireless Time, it lets you do that with Bluetooth, Wifi, Sound, and the Phone itself! I unfortunately do not remember where it's at, but I'm sure you can find it with a search here.
Thanks bwilliams73,
Wireless Time seems to do the job, but it's too confusing. I didn't liked the interface.
If anyone have a second option I would like to know.
Thanks
Can WirelessTime run minimized?
I've been looking for a tool like WirelessTime to turn on Bluetooth during the hours I'm commuting in the car and to turn off Wifi when I'm at work. I've put a shortcut in Startup to restart it after a soft-reset but is there a command line switch to start minimized ?

Just extract and add this to your start up items in the windows folder. Basically it turns on bluetooth when the phone is charging and turns it off when it is not. I use it because I don't really want bluetooth on when I'm not charging it and don't mind it being on when I am. Also I use a bluetooth headset when driving and I don't need to fiddle with the phone when I get into the car. Just put it in it's cradle and bingo....

WirelessTime.
It's working very well on my HTC diamond.

Hey guys, I could need your help.
I need to find a way to start a program / file (mortscript file) when Bluetooth Handsfree is connected /disconnected (more clear: connecting / disconnecting)
SPB Phone Suite can change profiles automaticly on this event, but Phone Suite cannot run a program when changing a profile ... what a pitty.
It would be very usefull for me because when Handsfree is connected I sit in my car and then I want to start Media Player, TomTom and so on.
Anyone could suggest me ANY solution to start a program upon Bluetooth Handsfree connecting?
I would be glad for every idea ;-)
Maybe search the registry keys of SPB Phone suite to see if you can find one that shows the status of a changed profile (the little yellow asterisk on the profile icon) and then monitor it with mortscript.
A2DPToggle by Teksoft is a nice free today plugin that lets you easily connect/disconnect headset. It also supports execution of desired app after connecting
True, but it cannot autoconnect when bluetooth device in range and detected
Sadly, i cannot get my Philips SHB7100 to autoconnect anyway
I don't know if this is possible or if this is a really simple question however is there a way to disconnect a hands free device in 1-2 clicks.
what happens is this, I have a BlueAnt Speakerphone in the car I get out of the car (and forget to turn of BlueAnt) walk 15m and make a call - phone is still connected to Hands-Free, so how can I quickly disconnect the hands-free and make a call through the normal phones internal speaker.
I suppose I can assigna button to be comms manager and disable bluetooth however I want bluetooth to remain on if possible (just d/c hands-free temporarily)
Windows Mobile 6.1 on HTC Touch HD
You can try this, it merely toggles bluetooth.
However, I have had the same problem as you, so decided to make my TD2 KNOW when it is in my car and KNOW when it is not. I use GProfile for this. It knows when it is in my car because it is connected to my car cradle (it is charging) which is also an FM transmitter (it thinks it is connected to a headset). This then automatically turns bluetooth on when cradled. When I un-cradle it, it turns bluetooth off thus disconnecting from my handsfree headset.
GProfile is one program which does this but you could use Mortscript instead.
