I search a Sappimg.zip to go to the stock HTC Magic 32A stock recovery, spl, radio.
if i extract the HTC update from january it gives me only a rom.zip.
But every where it is posted the file name needs to be sapphimg.zip.
The fastboot should look like this after flash:

Every time I try to flash a custom ROM (in my case, CM6), I get a Status 7 error and installation is aborted. I have checked the md5s, and they match.
I have also tried rooting from Cupcake, and using Clockwork Mod Recovery as well as recovery-RA versions v1.6.2, v1.7.0, v1.7.0.1.
Any ideas on how I could get this working?
Thanks,
aadam

I was doing great, but after updating hboot my phone was not boot. What is more, earlier I couldn't flassh RA's recovery, so I boot it and after that my operatins system don't start and I can't flash it through RA's recovery mode.
So I did the unrooting with
RUU_Sapphire_Vodafone_GER_1.91.162.1_DRC92_signed_NoDriver
It looked normal. But then I was trying with Cyanogen, but this custom recovery wont boot. It wont boot at all.
Also I can't downgrade my SAPPIMG.nbh like this. I even made goldcard, but it still do not leting me downgrade (Older version error)
I want to flash my phone with new ROM, but geting deaper and deaper

I wanted to upgrade the HTC to latest version. But something went wrong.
I got to the recovery and the rooting but then something went badly wrong with the sd card.
I can now use adm, recovery and fastboot. My sdcard won't mount in any of those 3.
can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk1p1) No such file or directory.
I tried everything I could think off but no success. The problem is that my phone won't boot anymore, stuck at HTC magic screen. Since it's still S-ON I cannot flash roms through fastboot and cannot use 'su' in adm.
Please help me. I am all out of ideas.

for a previous problem SAPPIMG update fail
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCUj1qwGncA
Update Fail! PLEASE HELP ME!!
Main Version is older! Update Fail. , how can I fix
downgrading
try to use ruu from the website where you downloaded the sappimg file. just copy lik and paste it into browser adress bar. or look for forum thread regardin rooting a 32B Magic. or if did you read it very carefully the wiki instructions, probably you missed the note
Note: If you get an error saying "Main version is older" or "Incorrect Model ID" you'll need to create a goldcard. Follow goldcard instructions (including the revert to 32B Radio and Rom). When you reach the 'apply update' step, skip to the 'Install CyanogenMod latest' link.
Reboot when device is done updating. You now have the one-click vulnerable version of the firmware.
