cab or zip file included
goto this site http://www.mahmood1.com
you can find it there
salam
You want it without shelling out 40 bucks? Go to spbsoftwarehouse, purchase it, and download it.
Voila! You now have Mobile Shell for only 29.99!! What a deal!
Do you even know what warez is? If someone gave you a .zip or .cab of an unlocked version or provided a key, and you didn't purchase it, THAT IS WAREZ and forbidden.
if u cant afford it then dont bother looking for it
we are protecting this site for it not to be banned ... If you like to have a warez this is not the place to look for
ask google I do know that there is a site out there which can cater to your needs

Now go read your PM!
Mods Please close this thread because this WAREZ talk wreaks of pure recklessness.

[Q] Resign App Inventor APKs

Is there a way to resign the APKs generated by Googles App Inventor? (if you change, say the icon)
Couldn't you just use the testsign.jar?

I don't know what this is.
You mean I should change the name of the apk to testsign.jar? Or is it something I should find somewhere?

Thanks for nothing.

Ok, so I just done a search for "testsign android" and the 1st link is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3175518&postcount=2
.... I think that'l help.

No. Helping would be saying "You do this "insert explanation". Just posting that is trolling. He might as well have posted "oil platform, platypus, beetle" it tells me nothing, and I have no idea what it is and searching for it is no help at all. As always if people don't want to help that's fine but they should shut up then.

That thread is about making a theme, I don't want to make a theme. I want to sign an apk (actually I want to change an ICON but someone says you have to sign the apk whatever that means).
(Also note first line: "you will need a working knowledge of android, adb,how to resign apk's" - I don't have that, I don't have that, I don't know how to do that!)
Anyway, unsubbing this thread.
Perhaps the problem was using "sign" in the subject.
I shall make a new post with a more newbish title.
@Kermode
You want to do something, but don't want to get knowledge on how to do that, because this is too much for you. Not everything could be explained in two words.
If it means reading hundreds of threads with hundreds of irrelevant and offtopic messages, yes then it is too much for me. If it meant reading a concise page with only relevant information, perhaps it wouldn't be too much.
And whilst two words are enough for nothing, everything can be reduced to a relatively short core meaning.
Ok, I think easiest way is to:
unzip apk file
find and replace an icon
remove META-INF dir
zip everything back and name it as *.apk
sign it: you could search for testsign tool or look here: http://d.android.com/guide/publishing/app-signing.html . Most important for you are "Obtain a suitable private key" and "Sign your application with your private key".

PEOPLE like you really piss me off on forums...you dont bother looking up information like you should, your very disrespectful, and from what ive seen your an all around! Sorry for my language MODS but someone has to say it. You should learn your spot and if you wanna learn how to resign then look as there are plenty of threads. You just want someone to give you everything and do it the easy way. Sometimes in order to do things you must do your homework which apparently you cant do.
For the way you acted to the other guy i would suggest that NO ONE help this guy and let him learn how to do it by himself Since he pretty much just said he isnt gunna look through threads he wants it handed to him(look at the post above)!
PEOPLE like you disgust me!
@OP:
Sufficient responses have been provided to an improperly titled thread.
XDA is about knowledge and experiences whilst using a particular device, application, or custom (tweak) work. As such, you will encounter numerous posts in threads that may provide less relevance than others within the same thread - it is your responsibility to "filter" past such posts ... this is no different than any other Forum you may frequent.
Additionally, there is an option in your profile to view up to 50 posts/screen page ... this greatly helps filter more content at once.

X10/Android unpleasant surprises

Hi!
A friend of mine lent me X10 so I can experience (huh) all the beauty of Android. To make it short I was actually disappointed to find, that al least on X10 you have to be connected to the internet and create an account to use a simple calendar. I have never found anything like this on other phones. Also applications can only be installed on-line, no downloading for later installation :-/
So I'd like to ask if there are any other surprises like these of which I should be aware of in case I decide to switch to Android.
Thanks
I can use my calendar without internet connection.
And ''off-line downloading''? i really do not understand.
If you want to download something you have to be online.
@berbecverde : i think he meant offline installation...!!
That's exactly what I meant

You're going to find plenty I guess as you know clearly know very little about it, so instead of posting your false assumptions here, do some reading first.
Some sites offer apps that can be downloaded to the PC/smartphone and then you can transfer and install/just install them.
Give him a break! In time he will learn how great Android is. He just opend his mouth too soon...
well cut him some slack... he's new to Android....!!
let him us the device for a few days... he might like it as well...!!
To OP:
I see from the bottom of your post you are/were using WinMo 6.1. Unlike WinMo 6.1 Android does not have offline syncing of your data, in that way they are the same as the IPhone. I think everyone is moving in this direction including Windows Phone 7 so you better get use to it .
Sorry if you felt I was harsh, but still recommend you do some reading.
They say two things in life are certain: Death and Taxes.
On this forum two things are certain. Users will ask questions without reading the forums, and XperiaX10iUser will point out that you should read the forums before asking questions.

Yep, and if I was mod I'd happily enforce the rules that state that's what you should actually do in the first place. You can count on one hand the amount of threads I've started to ask questions.
+1 on that xperiax10user... Too much crap on here now to find the useful stuff.. it's a right royal pain in the ass..
But back to the OP's question.. Android is going to be different to anything you've used before.. somethings will be better, something will be worse (but mostly you'll find an app that does exactly what you want.. so there really won't be many of these!).
Android operates through google.. in a similar way to the way iphone needs an itunes account.

Well i have no data plan yet xD and it was so confusing, annoyinng, etc to found out that all my prepaid credit were spent cause of the phone, took me 1 month to find it out and fic it
Does the Google Market allow you to download apps but not install them with any other Android phone?
The Apple AppStore doesnt let you do this unless you buy/download stuff through itunes on your computer first?
What a stupid question...

equivalent to jailbreaking

i read a thread, which i cant seem to find any more, about 'rooting' your android so that you can download any app for free.
there was two ways i read that it can be done, 1)downloading this app in the market, then just clicking a button in the app which then 'jailbreaks' or 'roots' your android and 2) installing it via USB..
does anyone know what the app is called?
or if someone can recall where this thread is, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advanced!
Ummm no.
Getting things for free is not what we like to talk about round here (if you exclude ROMs etc ). It is sometimes known as warez... or even theft.
Rooting is nothing to do with this. Very simply, rooting it is the process by which you can gain administrative access to your phone and enable options and configurability that you otherwise couldn't get. It also allows you to install certain apps that do not work on non-rooted phones. Most of the Android ROMs in the HD2 section are already rooted.
Ummm okay. Don't know what the above reply was about. You're looking for this (or similar)...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=833953
I can never find it on the market, so I always get it from here.
Hope it helps

the reply that you mentioned is about the comment the OP made about thinking that you can get any app for free when rooting, nobnut was just mentioning not to ask about getting free paid apps.
^ ya I just read that thread about not asking for free apps, so this thread not need to be expounded
But thanx for the comments anyways. This forum is extremely useful, and i don't want to jeopardize my status on it!
Good thing you could realize it that fast. Most of us realize it before joining. Good job anyway!

What do you mean by Black Market application?
If you are referring to warez/cracked apps, that is totally against the spirit and the letter of the rules here at XDA. Asking for, discussing or offering stolen software will get you banned here, double quick.
Yep - don't even ask.
Wow, I was way off when I read this thread I assumed the OP meant a black themed Android Market.
I assumed that as well because I was all like: "This is XDA, noone here is that stupid".
Then I read the post, saw the user, created an account yesterday just to find out how to get warez on the most anti warez place there is. Sad world, it's not like even buying the apps and supporting the developers is that bad.
That .99 cents is going to guarantee you getting updates for your apps VS. not paying the developer and *****ing when there are no updates to an app you obtained through sad methods.
Also encourages the developers to continue doing the great work that they do.

Doesn't it make you think.... A device costing what the Xoom does, and you can't even spend a few ££ on apps. I bet your Xoom is stolen too isn't it?
Post up a pic of your serial number sticker... I dare you!
