I used ActiveSinc for backup my contacts and lost all. I can help me for recovery the contacts. Or I can do with the pim.vol ?

Hi guys,
I am a BA owner..and so I try to help a friend with a magician..but "playing" with it I erased the outlook contacts while sincronicyng So I get the .stg file to restore on device the database and after to sync to PC.. it restore all BUT contacts..activesync say is in use! So I deleted IA_contacts from startup folder, nothing! I even tryed with STW viewer..I can see the contacts but no way to restore on device... HELP :shock: :? how can I restore my contacts? Thanks in advance

i hope you can help me. when i my xdaII hard reset, i used sprite backup to restore my xda to its last condition.. the problem is i when i view the outbox, drafts, and trash folders, it showed nothing just some "0k" at the right of the screen. but when you look at the folders, at the bottom it would say "0 Items, XX unread."
how can i resolve this??
p.s.
tried posting screen shots..not sure how.

Did you do a ROM upgrade? Were all databases backed up? Alot more info would be required to find out what went wrong. I suggest you log a question with Sprite tech support here

You had the sprite backup mess up your inbox. have to erase your mail and start it anew. it's all on sprite backup page..
use the latest version of the program

did not do a rom update, my xda hard reboot by itself... all database were backed up with no errors.. will log on to sprite thank you.

my inbox and sent messages are all good, the problem is with my drafts, outbox and trash folders...will try that after..

i've a very strange problem! I had to do a hard reset on my phone and before doing so i thought of taking the backup, for which i used htc's cd which contained sprite backup htc edition and took a complete backup in a .exe file, i remember keying in the password for it during the time but i now while restoring have forgotten the password, is there any way i can recover it? it's not more than 6 chars that i'm sure, can any help be provided.

I have lost all my appointments, contacts and data and I need to restore from my passworded file in Sprite Backup file but I can't remember that password.

I had a WM6 mobile. I sold it since i find difficult with touch screen input in busy schedule!.
I had backuped my contacts with PIM backup.
Now i have the backup file but no WM6 mobile.
So, is there anyway I can see the backuped contacts in PC?
So that I can enter them manually to my new phone?

i have hd2 and after soft reset my manila dont lunch and my contact is very important
i cant backup with pim back up or other backup programe i can copy pim.vol on my sd card....
and after hard reset i replace my pim.vol on root device but after soft reset cprog.exe cant run and my contact dont restore?!
