Can Magic play stereo music via bluetooth headphones and if anyone tried how many hours of music playback the phone can plays?
yes and don't know. I can get over a day of use playing an hour at the gym, doing a heap of surfing via 3G and wifi. I always have a couple of spare batteries just in case- yes, you can change batteries unlike some fruity phones

Hello,i want to change my wired earphones to wireless ones, so ive been searching for a bluetooth headphone that would be good not only to listen music but also good at watching movies and i couldnt find any that dosnt have few secs off delay . So anyone knows any bluetooth headphones without the delay?
I've got some dell BH200 bluetooth headphones. They work great; no delay at all.

I been using the much whined about S9(9) motorolla stereo bluetooth headset for almost a year. Got a call in to radio shack now to replace them, (volume is all that dont work- dont leave them in your glove box in 140 degree heat lolz!!)
Ive never experienced any sort of (noticeable) delay with my bluetooth, i use them for everything. Movies of all different formats even.
Im not sure if your implying that after reading the specs you think theres seconds worth the delay, or youve personally experienced it. But This kid never has.
We're talking milli-seconds not full seconds.
Do it the right way like i did, and turn in your 120 dollar receipt at work.

A2DP is designed to have no delay, so no A2DP set should have one... I have one set of BT headphones, an adapter plugged on my hifi set, and a 3rd one on portable speakers, and none have a delay. I'm also using A2DP between my laptop and desktop PC (so that the sound of the laptop goes out on the 5.1 set connected to the desktop) and there's no delay either.
So if you did experience delay, you must have stumbled upon THE rare crappy model.
Did you check the video for delay?

Some video if not properly encoded the audio will be out of sync and will get worse as it progresses into the video. You should compare the same video with the wired and wireless to verify the delay.

Got the mini last week and am generally loving it
However, a couple of niggles. When I'm driving to work I have the mini playing music via a bluetooth audio device (that transmits FM to the car radio) and when I get to work I listen to same audio through a JayBird stereo bluetooth headset.
My previous two phones (both htc and windows mobiles) have coped admirably with this. However, with the mini, when I get to work, connect the JayBird and then start playing music the audio profile disconnects. I then have to keep reconnecting and eventually it seems to work but is a bit laborious. There doesn't seem to be a repeatable process to guarantee it working.
Not sure if it is possible to revert to the standard Windows Mobile bluetooth management - like I said things seemed to work with previous phones/custom roms etc.
The other thing is that the htc audio manager's shuffle doesn't seem quite so random as media player's! If I've got multiple songs with the same title it tends to play them all together... weird!
Is there any way of streaming music through a BT earpiece on the Vibrant?

If your BT headset supports A2DP, yes. Personally, I like stereo music so I got a Sony MW600. Definitely recommend it--you can use your own headphones, it's got a good mic, FM radio, amazing range and battery life, and you can pair it with up to three devices. It's tiny and light too.

yes... You have to get a "media" type BT. I got a Samsung one at T-Mobile for a discount. I think it's like 60 bucks though. It is pretty good as far as quality. I'm not a music freak so as long as it plays I'm good.
You can also use it to watch video. It's great because there are no cords tying you down. It also has headphones so I can have my phone in my pocket, the BT cliped to my shirt and still use headphones. The other thing I like about this one is that It has an output jack so I can plug it into my car's audio auxillary.
One great benefit of a BT headset for music is that it will actually save you battery if you listen to music a lot. Mine allows me to control volume and pause/ff/rev tracks without turning on the screen, which is a much bigger battery drain than the BT. I used to get crappy battery life because every time I adjusted volume, the screen would come on, and changing tracks also required waking the screen.
I bought a bluetooth car kit to play music with. When I first paired the device to my phone, all 3 the media buttons worked (play/pause, forward, and back). The next time I used the kit only the play/pause button worked.
Knowing Samsung sucks at everything, I didn't waste my time disconnecting/reconnecting. I plugged the phone into the ADB interface and watched the system log in DDMS. What I found was really confusing.
I plugged the bluetooth kit into a 12v source and connected the 2 devices. I played some music off my phone and watched the log as I presses some buttons. In the log, the button presses were actually showing up in the log with the right scan numbers but the media player just doesn't respond to anything other than play/pause.
If I try different combinations of connecting/disconnecting I can get the media buttons to work but 90% of the time they wont. WTF is happening T_T
I have not had that trouble with my bluetooth head unit. I have been using Pandora and Mixzing. I only have issues with audio dropout and it seems to disappear (stop dropping) after the connection has been used for maybe 10-15 minutes.
It worked perfectly with my Samsung Omnia.
I found out that the bluetooth controls only work when the media app is in the foreground. If I'm on the home screen the controls will be ignored. If I have pandora open on the screen, pandora will be controlled.
This is annoying and I wonder why nobody else is having this problem.

Does anyone have a handle on the interrelationship between the Epic 4G, wireless headsets, and AVRCP music players?
My rooted Samsung Epic 4G is running 2.1 and has the stock ROM.
I’m looking for a compatible MP3/Wireless headset combination using either the Motorola S9-DH or S10-DH, or the Rocketfish RF-MAB2. So far, I am unable to do everything the headsets say I should be able to do, that is, answering a call and having the player resume (both headsets get this far) and also controlling the MP3 player, i.e., allowing for track skipping, pausing, etc.
In short, I do not have control over an MP3 player’s basic functions from a wireless headset.
I have tried both the Motorola and the Rocketfish. While the Motorola does not see an MP3 player at all, the Rocketfish does control an MP3 player’s volume level.
The following MP3 players were tried: stock Epic player, Winamp, PowerAMP and MortPlayer Audio.
I am open to suggestions. I am not wed to the Motorola or Rocketfish, but I am comfortable with the way they sound and fit.
OR...would you buy the headset you like, work the MP3 player manually (not a good idea while driving) and tough it out until Froyo addresses the issue of Bluetooth connectivity?

I've been using my EVO in the car, and I really like it.
Who else does this? What are some tips?
For example, when I'm listening to music, and a text comes in, the music stops and the chime is incredibly loud through the car speakers. I would like for this to not happen anymore.
What are some good accessories for this?

Well the only way to stop the ringing is by turning notification sounds off.

some music apps have a setting as to whether or not you have disruptions. i think winamp is one, it can lower the volume and have a notification or no notifications. i just use the stock player and just set it to vibrate.
I use it as my MP3 Player...
I use this application called Audiogalaxy....it allows me to hear all the music that's in my PC through my phone...I love it!
I just have my notifications set to be really quiet all the time, but that's just a personal preference that transfers well to using the phone as an mp3 player.
I use PowerAmp; I'm a fan of the way it looks, the lockscreen widget, and I also like how I can have it start playing automagically when I plug the aux. cable in, and it stops when I pull it out. Eventually I'll get a bluetooth setup, but that costs money.
Someday after I get my google music collection properly tagged and organized I'll give the google music player a shot to see how it is, but right now with a 16gb microsd card, it seems to be enough for me to maintain a good enough collection.
I've just started using my evo 4g as a mp3 player for my car and love it. I used to use my ipod touch, but got tired of syncing music. Now I use my evo and the new google music beta with my evo connected to my system using an aux. wire. I never really had any problems with my notifications going off with the music playing.
It works good playing podcasts to, I use Doggcatcher (worth the 6.99) I drive all day and music gets old, there are tons out there depending on your interests, I like when calls come through the car speakers... hands free all the way!

In one of my cars I've got a Pioneer AVIC D3 GPS system with bluetooth. What's awesome about this system and my EVO is that the Pioneer unit supports A2DP stereo. So I can actually play my music through bluetooth, no cable connection required! Pretty badass.
The only bad thing about it is that Android bluetooth is ass because the bitpool settings are too low and there's no way to up them. As a result bluetooth sound quality sucks. On my old Windows Mobile 6.1 phone you could change the bitpool settings by editing the registry, and with my Senheiser MM100 bluetooth headphones I swear the sound is a good as a decent pair of wired headphones. Hooked up to my Evo the same headphones are unlistenable. That's why I still use my old Windows mobile phone as an MP3 player for the gym.
I listen to Pandora all day at the office using my EVO connected to an Altec Lansing Bluetooth speaker.
I had the "GPS Reboot" issue on my old EVO, so I just use it like an iPod to listen to my mp3's loaded on the SD card, and occasionally Pandora when I have WiFi access. Like having a free iPod.
As an aside, I keep my current work EVO stock (except for the launcher), and use my old EVO for loading different ROM's etc. Best of both worlds.
My EVO repalced my iPod months ago. I have a 16GB card, and I use PlayerPro.
Loaded with features and it looks nice! Well worth the $$$
I also use DI.FM Radio, which is linked in my signature.
