CID unlocking done with help of great Mr Pof. thanks to both wizards.
I think some thing is wrong with the RUU. pls advise or give me a link to a good ruu
I feel as if I'm a stranger in harry potters magic school !!!
try it again and compare the error number to one in the wiki....link in my signature

I think there may be a problem with the RUU you downloaded....
You want to upgrade it to Windows Mobile 6.1...???
Why not go for Windows Mobile 6.5...???

Urgent Help needed
My dear forum colleagues,
I have attempted to upgrade my QTEK 1010 using the ali-win2k3 file that contained the Radio stack 4.00.01
Previous stack was 3.16
Unfortunately after upgrade the image stays 'Test only Not for Sale' I have another Radio version on my SD Card but I don't know how to unload it.
As now my brain halted due to panic, Please give me instructions as it was for dummies to get out of this mess!
PLEASE HELP.
Also note that the WALLBY Bootloader is V5.15 and goes to GSM OK and stays there without providing any action buttons or so...
Please advice urgently.

First of all thankyou so much for replying and trying to help out. However i try do do all u say in the specific link but when i click on MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and try to run it i get an error saying the file cannot be found even though i can see it on my pc...

Hi Steph,
Are you sure you've extracted all the files from the shipped-rom, with winzip or winrar, to a single folder? You should get files like nk.nbf, enterbl.exe etc. If you got those files, just put the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe in the same folder. Make sure you allow Act.Sync to connect to your magician via usb. Connect your magician with usb & execute MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe. This should be working, maybe you need to run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe twice, first time gives error 120 & fixes this, second time it really updates your rom version.

For some reason i can't manage.
When i try to run the MaUpgradeUt_noID it tells me that the RUU.dll is missing.
I put everything in one folder as u said.
I don't know if it's because the application cd is also in german and i can't understand a thing.

Don't know what you're experiencing, haven't heard this before. I do understand that you want to give up on this. Don't think that's it's your Act.Sync language giving you these errors, but you can always download the English Act.Sync from Microsoft.
Problem is I really have no clue what's going wrong on your side. What happens when you just run the plain shipped-rom? Gives it the error 120 or .... Are you sure it's a magician: device id PM10A or PM10B under start -> settings -> system -> device information -> identity (or something simular in German :-( )
You can try to update it with a SD-card flash, documentation http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=MagicianSDflash but that can be a hassle too.
I guess you're not living near Nijmegen in the Netherlands otherwise I would've done it for you.

put the phone in bootloader and flash the original rom
I have the same problem. No matter what rom code I flashed, always update error 300. Is there any idea to get rid of this problem? Thanks!
Strange... Isn't error 300 about using a RUU flasher on the wrong device?
Got my device to life after going to the service centre.... Successfully changed my Rom this time after using Hard spl by Canonyang and now I had flashed Touch IT V4.40....
My sincere advice from my experience...
Please read the instructions thoroghly before you attempt anything..

There are a few files, a mtty.exe, and a bin file.....
How do i go about, there is no instructions etc.
Also, do i need to do an USPL unlock or something?

I really need a backup or a original typhoon rom.. I am stuck in bootloader beacause my phone isn't CID unlocked and can't install any os.bin!
I whould apreciate it if somenone could give me the original os.bin file...

Problem solved once and forever. Now u don't need a friend's backup... you just need this! i guarantee you.. it won't fail. take this zip , extract the files, and you will have an iso wich works with CID unlocked phones... with original htc typhoon or spv c500. Ihope this may help you. For more details read the "ReadMe.txt" you have a step by step configuration. i have attached a txt to this post in that txt you can find the download link. download and always flash safe.

If your phone is CID locked you can only flash your default shipped ROM. If you don't know what it was, try find somethink in this thread.

thanks dude i appreciate your effort to share.....
