Urgent Help needed
My dear forum colleagues,
I have attempted to upgrade my QTEK 1010 using the ali-win2k3 file that contained the Radio stack 4.00.01
Previous stack was 3.16
Unfortunately after upgrade the image stays 'Test only Not for Sale' I have another Radio version on my SD Card but I don't know how to unload it.
As now my brain halted due to panic, Please give me instructions as it was for dummies to get out of this mess!
PLEASE HELP.
Also note that the WALLBY Bootloader is V5.15 and goes to GSM OK and stays there without providing any action buttons or so...
Please advice urgently.

Did you try to install another ROM and got stuck? You pm'd me after this post. Please advise.
all 4.xx.xx ROMS that I try fail. They freeze in image.
all 3.xx.xx are ok.

hey guys thanks for being helpful alot of times..
My O2 XDA MINI S gets stuck at the startup operator logo ..
I FLASHED IT WITH THE NEW 2.21.4.1 ROM AND OS ,, but its still the same
NOW IM TRYING TO FORMAT IT WITH A HARD RESET BY PRESSING THE SEND BUTTON ,,BUT IT SAYS "FORMAT FAIL"..... Please help me as i really miss the phone..
I am afraid that usually means you have a faulty rom memory chip. Send the device back to the supplier for repair - its a hardware problem not a software problem.

BUT IF ITS A hardware fault how was i able to flash it to the newer version ? 2.21 ?
Is there any thing else i can do to the phone ? to make it ? LIKE THE IMEI OR SOME KIND OF LOCK ?

The rom will flash but stll fails to boot - there have been other posts with exact same problem and that was the reply by summiter or faria if I remember right. (Both v experienced at flashing and putting together roms) Do a srearch - failed format will prob find those posts.

ive heard if I can upgrade the phone through the SD CARD then it can get back to normal ..
Please some one can be kind enough to guide me through it or mail me the dump of the os for the sd card.. O2 XDA MINI S

In my previous posts i had mentioned that my atom is not syncing (via usb or bluetooth) nor is it charging as there seems to be a problem with the motherboard.
I am trying to sync via infrared. Please help me with the information whether the ROM can be upgraded with the one on the o2 website via infrared.

bro, ROM can be upgraded using the storage card. Simply put the diskimg at the root of ur card den enter bootloader mode (press center button+power+soft reset hole) Hope its help!

Brother Fist of all thanks a million for responding. Brother I am a newbie hence I do not know much of the process you mentioned above. Please tell me in detail step by step what to do. Right now I am downloading the ROM from the O2's website and keeping on my system.

put the phone in bootloader and flash the original rom
I have the same problem. No matter what rom code I flashed, always update error 300. Is there any idea to get rid of this problem? Thanks!
Strange... Isn't error 300 about using a RUU flasher on the wrong device?
Got my device to life after going to the service centre.... Successfully changed my Rom this time after using Hard spl by Canonyang and now I had flashed Touch IT V4.40....
My sincere advice from my experience...
Please read the instructions thoroghly before you attempt anything..

please ask in this thread. and please find out keyboardissues by flashing. i guess there is noone else with dopod running it...

Is your device still running and syncing with ActiveSync?
Then you might try the tool pwnewbootloader out of the XDA-Tools

no LumpiStefan, windows cannot install 'cause it finds an unknown device... so ActiveSync cannot sync with it...

thanks for the reply but i cant flash a nem rom to sdcard 'cause xdarit v1.2 doesnt allow me to.. that's why i need v1.0 to downgrade bootloader to 5.17..

hi dears, i'm a real newbie. pls help. I have a p3300 with wm5. I want to upgrade to WM 6.1. downloaded the files from xda, developed by great Mr Tom. but the attached RUU. doesnt seem to work. it says " failed to initialise properly". i've the .nbh file also...
CID unlocking done with help of great Mr Pof. thanks to both wizards.
I think some thing is wrong with the RUU. pls advise or give me a link to a good ruu
I feel as if I'm a stranger in harry potters magic school !!!

I think there may be a problem with the RUU you downloaded....
You want to upgrade it to Windows Mobile 6.1...???
Why not go for Windows Mobile 6.5...???
