hi friends,is there some possibilyti to speed up my trackball ?speed seted from settings is not enough for me and i have faster trackball.greetings from serbia.
I've only just realised i have no idea how to switch between keyboard types, qwerty or traditional abc keyboard etc, i'm sure i've done this before but how?
at the bottom of the screen (when the keyboard is up) there is a small icon of a keyboard. Tap the right part of it and a pop up menu with options for keyboard layout will appear.
oh yeah!! doh!! thanks man, i was wondering as i've just got the hd mini for my wife and the question came up, although you have to go into settings for that phone. Must say i'm impressed with the HD mini, its lightening fast, faster than my hd2.
Anyway, thanks
no probs

I have a stupid question about android scrolling speed,
every time i touch the screen, i can feel that the screen response slower than my finger...
for example i put my finger on an icon and move(finger keep on screen), when i stop i found that the icon is not under my finger, different from wm and iphone...
is that all android like this or i did something wrong?? or else how to fix it?
Sorry for my bad english

the simple and straight answer is, YES.. now, for a little more detailed response.. some phone are having scroll lag issues with some android build/kernel.. so it really depends on what android build/kernel you have..
Just try Hastarin 4.1. Never had this issue with this kernel.
Anyone else switching from N1/desire/any other phone with trackpad?
Is anyone else finding it hard to get use to not having a trackpad to move the cursor when typing?

I moved from the n1, and at first, it was tough to go back and edit. Luckily, Motoblur (yes) includes a magnifying glass when you tap and hold so you can precisely go to a spot in the input box. Its not so bad anymore!

i liked the trackpad because it used to give me cool flash light colors if i have a msg or msd calls.
but it didnt work very well with the browser sometimes to scroll down or up. but when it did. it was awesome.
now the moral of my reply is :
get used to it

but when im sometimes texting its slow and i sometimes dont type the wright keys..
& i tried the HTC_IME mod but it doesnt even work..
so can someone suggest sometime i can do please, cos i really dont want to change the keyboard?
thanks'x
If you dont want to change your keyboard, try disabling the haptic feedback, and, the key pop-up options, it should speed it up.
As for wrong key presses, the stock keyboard offers a wonderful calibration tool. Use it.
