Some messages are not loaded from the server (IMAP). The message window says:
[This mail is still on the server]
No error message or any indication of what goes on. The "unreadable" messages can be read with other clients. I have examined the raw message content with headers, and the only thing these messages seem to have in common are that they contain a GPG signature. Does HTCs mail-application reject signed messages? Shouldn't it at least display the unencrypted message body?

I like being able to send a message, and getting a delivery report back. But I don't like having to delete them everytime, especially when I send a message to 10 people and get 10 reports back.
It would be excellent if someone could write a program that checks for incoming delivery report messages, disects the message to find the message being reffered etc, flags the original message as delivered, and then deletes the report message.
The way a message is flagged as delivered could be an icon, or making the message italic. For messages that were sent to multiple users, I guess the name of the message can change to include 2/10. That doesn't tell who has received what yet I guess. Maybe the body of the message can be modified to include pending recipients.
what do you think?
I've got a 6925, and i'm quite annoyed by the e-mail notifications always nagging me. I have 2 e-mail accounts setup (Gmail, and my POP3 work account). I want it to check for new messages as frequently as possible, but I only want it to display a notification if it DOWNLOADED a new message. Currently it displays that I have New messages all the time unless i physically go into my inbox and actually open the e-mail message all the way.
Why is this so annoying? Well a lot of the times I get messages that I just don't open based on the "header" of the message. Yet unless I actually go in and mark it as read, or open it up, when it goes to check for new messages on the server it still thinks it's a NEW message and thus prompts me with a display saying I have new messages. Is there anyway I can have those notifications fire ONLY when it's DOWNLOADED a new message and not keep pestering me saying I have 63 some e-mails that are new and I haven't opened?
Thanks
im nit familliar with mortscript but i was wondering if there was any way of developing a script that monitors incoming text messages and can automatically delete a message containing certain text and display some of the information in the text as a popup message.
for example, if i select to get a delivery notification for text messages, i get a message from the system admin however it comes in as a text message and clutters up my inbox. i want this message to be automatically deleted from my inbox and a popup or notification appears to say that a message has been delivered.
any help would be appreciated
thanks
chris
thankyou, much appreciated
is there a place in the registry where actual messages are stored? I know there's a system file somewhere... and a spot with the amount of unread messages...
It can be done in C#/C++, but I'm not sure how well MortScript interacts with tmail.exe or any of the SMS interactions required...
When I send sms messages, sometimesI get the "your text message cannot be sent" error message popup. This usually occurs when I try send a message at the same time as one is being received. However, it does occur randomly at other times.
There is usually a delay before the error message appears and the notification is not very loud thus I usually don't realize this has happened.
Only when I check my phone do I see the popup. The problem is that when this popup is shown, no incoming messages can be received and any outgoing messages are also prevented from being sent. So I press <ok> on the screen and a flood of messages that had been prevented from delivery suddenly stream in.
Any suggestions on how to either disable the popup, or alternatively let messages through while the popup is displayed.
Hi,
I have a corrupt received text message that I cannot delete in the conventional way (i have tried deleting the message, the thread, the contact etc) but it just stays there. it has no sent or received date associated with it so it just sits as my first text message and right winds me up. any suggestions?
Many Thanks
Murg
Is it from 129 or a similar short number?
No it's just a normal message from my gf that's just gotten corrupted somehow (possibly to do with myphone) where are text messages stored, can I force it to be deleted somehow?
They *might* be in
'\Windows\Messaging'
or
\cemail.vol
It might also be emails instead.
