hy to all first of all sorry for posting in the wrong place i think my problem is that i have a htc magic 32a y cant rootit i instaled flashrec but when i try it it says unable to execute comand please somebody can help my thanks in advance

Problem with rooting
Hi, Im a newbie in android and I ve tried to root my phone using the one-click-rooting method but it does not seem to work. It kept on stating backup failed. I tried to install a new ROM straight away but it failed too.
My HTC Magic is the Malaysian version and it came with no Android Market.
I want a new ROM with the Android Market so badly.
These are my phone details.

Anybody with the same SPL as i do that was able to flash it?
Is there anyone who can help please? Am I posting to the correct thread?
I've tried some way to root magic in XDA.
but any one of them can't do that..

Hi,
I get a Magic which is always restarting at HTC Logo.
The Problem is i dont know the Original Operator to flash the Phone with it. How can i get the Operator? There is no logo or something on the Phone.

What are you trying to get access to fastboot for?

I modified rom by replace two files in system/lib
1- libskia.so
2- libwebcore.so
then after flash the rom stuck in splash screen
